My husband and I recently had a great meal here. He had the salmon and I had the lemon rosemary chicken. The sauce was light and did not overpower the dish. The vegetables with our meals were really fresh and delicious. The manager came by our table to ask if we needed anything. We didn’t, because our server, Blake, was excellent and checked on us several times. The food came to the table piping hot. A really good experience. Will be going back soon.

Chain restaurant. Nice people. Standard food. Wedge salad was very good the Italian nachos were interesting and good. The eggplant Parmesan was good as usual. This is a very busy place.

Terrible… Out of 6 different main course items, and didn’t tell us about this until we were seated for 1−½ hours. Out of normal cocktail choices. Manager said«sorry, there is nothing we can do». 2−½ hours later we finally were served our main course. Only one server for a party of 36. We were the only customers.

Haven’t eaten here in 12 years & I remember why,… Service was horrible. Ordered a couple family size dishes, A lasagna and a big bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. Also everyone has soup & salad. Salad was good, one bowl of soup arrives, which my son ate. My husband & I waited for ours, the server tells me 20 minutes after I ordered that they are out of lasagna. Ok! I order rosemary lemon chicken to replace it. The family size spaghetti and meatballs come out, still no soup. I ask our server about the soup and she says they are out! I said so we are just not getting any soup? Why are we being told this now after one of our entrées has already came out? Irritated, I wait for my rosemary lemon chicken. It’s brought out minus any pasta. I ask the server where my angel hair pasta is that goes with this dish? She replies they are out of that particular pasta. Are you serious?! Why would you bring out a dish minus one of the major components? A very small plate of angel hair pasta is dug up for my dish, it is hard and stuck together! We left the restaurant very irritated, very disappointed and hungry. We will not be returning ever again!

There was a time when you could go to Carino’s for reliable Italian food and a pleasant atmosphere. Sadly, it has declined. Service is uneven, unless you eat in the bar where it is abysmal. There’s a broken window in the bar, crudely covered with trash bags and tape. Food is tolerable, but just. The menu is the same old stuff they’ve had for years. Everything about the place just feels tired; very tired.

Generally pretty decent Italian food. The Grilled Chicken Bow Tie Festival is magical, don’t ever stray from it. I decided to give the Baked Cheese Tortellini a shot… It was basically Chef Boyardee The bread is also pretty fantastic with garlic oil dipping sauce

Always loved Carino’s, good food and great people! Love that you can customize most dishes with extra ingredients or have items left out if you don’t like them. Nothing can cool you off on a hot summer day better than a frozen peach Bellini.

It’s a solid 3 stars. Our server was super chipper and our food came out quickly. Carinos has some great specials during the week. The bread was hot and fluffy and it tasted nice dipped in the oil. Carinos used to pour the oil at the table and leave you the bottle. They just bring a plate with it poured on it. We has the calamari, it was a little extra chewy but not terrible. I had the chicken Parmesan, the portion was huge and didn’t have enough sauce to coat the noodles. My husband had the seafood medley, the sauce was way way too thin and the portion there was also too large. He said his salad was good. Overall there are aspects that make it better than Olive Garden(the bread, salad, and specials) and things that OG does better(portions and sauce quantity). Not too terrible.

Come in on Mondays for half price appetizers. We usually get the chicken scallopini, which is spaghetti noodles served with chicken breasts covered in a mushroom sauce very delicious, unfortunately the chicken was dry tonight, hard to believe cover in that sauce, i do recommend the cherry Italian cream sodas, they are very good but beware they do take extra time to make.

My God, this place is so hit or miss that I absolutely give up. It has gone downhill in the past few years. First, the bread isn’t good. It is surprisingly bad and lingers near the bottom of the«free bread» chart along with packaged crackers from Joe’s Crab Shack. I ordered the salmon with a lemon butter sauce, spinach, and potatoes. For $ 15, you expect for it to be pretty good, right? The«sauce» was watery and ran all over the plate, and the white wine in the spinach was still raw and bitter. The Spicy Romano chicken pasta is surprisingly consistently good over all these years. Pair with an underwhelming salad or soup. The one redeeming quality– the service is good. We sat at the bar, and when it was obvious that I wasn’t going to eat my food, the bartenders took it off the ticket, and I just tipped them based off of a two-person ticket anyway. They do have a Happy Hour which knocks a few bucks off of appetizers and drinks. Make sure to get good and drunk before you eat the food here so you don’t remember what it tastes like.

I went here one day and the meal was delicious, except… the rude people that obviously dine here as well :-(Which I feel bad for the staff members that work here because they have to deal with those rude people too. When you pay the amount you do to have a nice meal and enjoy yourself, you don’t expect to feel in a hurry to leave due to rude patrons sitting right by you in this restaurant. This is the worst Johnny Carino’s location I have ever experienced. I have been to many and this place tops it! I will never go to this one ever again!

My husband and I stopped at Carino’s on 1÷31÷13 for lunch. I had the smoked turkey and bacon paninni, and my husband had the parmesan chicken lunch special. He enjoyed his house salad, which was crisp and fresh and not drowned in dressing. The sauce on the parmesan chicken he thought was a bit heavy, but that is a matter of personal taste. I really enjoyed my sandwich with the parmesan shoestring fries. The balance of smoked turkey and bacon, gorgonzola cheese, and tomatoes was just right, and the bread was crisp without being crumbly, and had just the right amount of herb seasoning to make it interesting. The service couldn’t have been improved on – the hostess seated us quickly, and our server Darren appeared immediately, took our wine order, and then appeared at just the right moment to serve, remove dishes, and check on our satisfaction. We will return to Carino’s for more good food and very good service.

The staff at Carino’s were gracious enough to stay open late for a large group of my coworkers to have dinner. Dinner started with a free basket of herb bread with olive oil and seasoning(addictive and tasty) that the waitress would refill even as we waited for more coworkers to arrive after they had officially closed. Trying to eat healthy here is difficult. Most all of the dishes are loaded with cheese and/or pasta. I went for a house salad with chicken and a Chianti vinagrette, but the lemon rosemary chicken with veggies looked pretty light and healthy too. All the dishes came out quickly, and our wine was replaced as often as we would drain the bottle. Prices are reasonable, ~$ 15 dollars an entrée, and staff is super friendly to even the last customers of the day to walk in the door. We never felt rushed or pushed out the door and we all really appreciate it.

Even though we called ahead, our group of 12 had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, although it was prom so I’ll give them that. The meal went smoothly, no mistakes and the service was pretty good. Overall a great b-day meal!
