Bush’s Chicken

Won’t come back to this location… love bushes but the drive thru here took 5 minutes before they even took my order… I would have understood if it were prime meal time but it’s 3pm on a tuesday… it’s like they had one person running the drive thru. There were only 3 cars… it would be quicker to drive to another bushes location in the future. Been this exact experience 3 times now

I can shamelessly say that I absolutely love Bush’s chicken. I’ve only seen Bush’s chicken in the Waco area and I’m super happy that they are expanding to Houston.
My family of 5 always gets the family pack of 30 tenders, 3 family sides, freshly baked bread rolls, and 2 huge cups of their delicious gravy. For the family sides, we get the corn, corn nuggets, and mashed potatoes. I definitely think that you should get corn nuggets over french fries any day. Corn nuggets are basically delicious fried balls of cream corn, definitely a must. The one thing that ties the whole meal together is the nice, hot gravy. If you put that gravy on anything, i’ll eat it. I dip not only the chicken tenders but also everything else. I absolutely love it.
Because Bush’s is near Baylor University, they offer Baylor student discounts every Sunday at a certain time. I will definitely be coming next year.

Great chicken. Great sides. Great rolls.
It’s nothing fancy on the inside, but the table setup accompanies the food perfectly. Different hot sauces, honey, Bush’s own seasoning spice blends, and an entire roll of paper towels make dining in better than taking home. Reasonably priced, clean, friendly employees, perfect portions.
If you’re in the mood for chicken, definitely go here.

Nothing fancy about any of the Bush’s locations. The rolls and tea are good. The strips are boring a flavorless to me. The serendipity barely helps.

They have a half-​price deal on Sunday nights, and I am all over that!
The chicken is good (forget about eating healthy), the fries are good, and the sweet tea is as sweet as ever.
I totally recommend this place to anyone who loves fried chicken and quick service,
