Chicken tenders, fries, mashed potatoes, rolls and green beans might be best in Waco especially for the price. Kids love it. Go through drive through to hear «you been helped?» Waco classic

For some reason, we are hooked on their chicken tenders. So, our ritual would be to drop by on Tuesdays when they have a 16 tender box with 4 fluffy rolls, and gravy for $ 10.99. A great deal especially when they drop a few more bonus tenders in there just because!
I find their Sweet Tea a bit much, so consider asking for a half and half which is cut with unsweet tea.
The food here is very consistent, and I appreciate the multi-​lane drive through with very cheerful, efficient hops who take and deliver your order. Do consider planning your order before you drive up. The line moves fast.
If you like a clean tasting, salt and pepper crispy batter fried chicken, Bush’s will treat you right. But if you like heavy seasoning and flavor, consider going to KFC or better yet, Popeyes.

Crazy busy but cranking people through the drive thru very quickly. Ordered the corn fritters, they make them fresh to order. Usually give you more chicken than what you order.

Bush’s Chicken offers some of the best fried chicken in Texas.
A staple to this meal is the white country gravy. Just know if you order two strips, you’ll get 4, if you order 4 strips you’ll get 6, etc.

This is my favorite place to go when I am in a hurry and want good food. I love it! The girls are always fast and accurate with the food as they come out to your car instead of speaking to a box. The prices are getting to be a little high but it still is a really good place to eat!
