Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I received a gift card from my son and I decided to use it on my birthday since I never gotten a facial before. What a rejuvenating experience. Lisa my
esthetician, was extremely courteous and welcoming. I made my appointment thinking I would just get the facial. The ambiance and relaxed atmosphere led to me spending more than I had anticipated yet, it was well worth it. I plan to book a monthly visit with Lisa; she is an asset to the organization and my skin is STILL glowing!

I came for my monthly massage on Friday and I had Jennifer again. She is great. She asked about my run which both surprised and delighted me that she remembered. (I went for a massage to relax the day before my run several weeks ago).
She encourages you to «boss her around» while you’re getting a massage but I’m usually so relaxed that I mainly just let her do her thing.
When I leave I don’t just walk out I feel like I glide out. I’m always so relaxed. It’s the perfect remedy after a long work week.

DON’T GO!!! will never go here or any other establishment connected to them. I went in for a facial, it was rushed and very painful. I figured it was due to the detoxification of such. Moving forward, a few days later (3) my cheeks began to breakout very bad and started to become irritated. I was in disbelief. Two weeks has past and now my nose, chin and right cheek are all inflamed. Again I WILL NEVER ATTEND ANY COMMERCIALIZE PLACE SUCH AS THIS.

Great service all around. This venue has some of the best receptionists I have ever dealt with. They are always super sweet, accommodating, and knowledgable. When I have had issues with other hand and stone locations, the Voorhees location had helped me sort it out and offered to get involved with the other location on my behalf. It is also very clean and has great masseuse that are willing to tailor a massage to just what you need.

Just went on Sunday, my friend got me a gift cert for the holidays. She scheduled the appt so we could go together. I had been before but a different location. Was greeted nicely at the door, filled out my paperwork and sat and waited. I had Christine. She was amazing and had a really nice touch. I had put down that my shoulders bother me on the regular because of repetitive motion with my job. She managed to work them out thank god. I even dozed off a little when she was working on my feet! Great job Christine will definitely be requesting you next time I come back.

The receptionists are so unprofessional, it’s always so chaotic up front and my esthetician had to leave the room because the receptionist was trying to book her before she was even halfway through done with me. The receptionists should have a dress code they wear belly shirts when they shouldn’t. I’m more stressed going there to get a message than I would have been in I just stayed home. And don’t even try to call without being put on hold for 10 minutes.

They did a good job with the facial but after the microderm I got cuts all over my face so and needed to go to doctors. I will never go back

I have been going to this location for a couple years now. I have always left happy and feeling great! Toni has been amazing and always makes sure I am comfortable. I used to go earlier in the day but now I plan my sessions around her schedule because of the quality massage she has provided the last 2 sessions. Clean and inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly Recommend!

Had a massage with Angelica and it was just what I needed. Following 2 sketchy massages in the past month (different spas) I will avoid new places unless the review comes straight from a friend or family member.
Hand and stone has yet to disappoint. I was hoping they would re offer the membership to me since I did it a few years back. After the massage today I would have jumped on it. Place is clean but the carpet in the massage room could use a shampooing. Other than that, I would definitely visit again.

This place is hit or miss. The first time I was here, my facial was amazing! I just got my second facial there and I was not impressed. My first visit was so relaxing and I felt like I got my money’s worth with the variety of massages and lotions that they used on me. The second time around, there was very little massage and more emphasis on using a hot towel to wipe my face, over and over. I know you have to remove the lotion from the face, but it was excessive. Also, she decided to spend several minutes rubbing my legs and ankles. I was under blankets. It was odd.
I think I will try other locations before I write off this company completely. To be fair, my skin does feel good, but my skin felt better from the last visit. I’m not relaxed at all. The woman this time was not personable at all, it felt like a doctors visit.

I just moved to the area over the weekend, and my back was very sore. I had been a little hesitant to come here with the previous reviews. I am so glad I went anyway! I’ve been to a number of massage places over the years, including many with Groupon deals, etc. most of the massages were fine, but nothing to write home about. But my experience at Hand and Stone was amazing!
The check-​in was a little crowded, so I didn’t get to fill out a form before I went back. My massage therapist was Tom, and I can’t say enough good things about him! He listened to what I said about my back and the soreness I had. Then, instead of just giving me a general massage, he really focused on those problem areas. His technique was SO GOOD. I don’t know what he did, but it felt amazing as he was doing it, and afterwards, my back seriously felt brand new. He was extremely thorough and asked me several questions about where I wanted him to focus. He even took the time to do various stretches on my legs and lower back, and it must have worked!
Seriously do yourself a favor and check them out. If you ask for Tom, you won’t be disappointed. I am not a massage expert by any means, but in my opinion, it was the best massage I’ve ever had.

I got an awesome massage today from Christina White! She has excellent techniques and is very intuitive as she removes the kinks and knots. She also has a soothing touch too. I highly recommend a session with her!

My girlfriend and I made an appointment here today, July 7. We walked into the store and made a reservation for 4pm. It was 2pm at that time, and the young lady behind the counter said just come back in 2 hours and we will see you then.
So we walked around, had a light lunch, then returned to find that theory had no record of our appointment. When I pointed out the the health forms we had filled out were still on the counter behind the desk they just looked unhappy.
They blamed the girl who had taken our reservation, and said she had gone home, as if this absolved them of all blame. Unbelievably, they then said that if we wanted to wait another hour they could squeeze us in, right, so here is the lesson, this company does not take any personal responsibility for the mistakes if it’s employees. Do yourself a favor, there are plenty of other choices out there for getting a massage, any one of them must be better than this.

Total rip off. Had membership. Only one person gave decent massages. Decided to cancel membership, still had a couple sessions left and was told that they NEVER expire. Used one. Called back to schedule final one. Yes, it’s been a year (their prices are the same!), however now in irder for me to use my session that «never expires» I must pay an additional $ 50! That’s exactly what they charge as an introductory offer!

I am only giving one star even though I have not actually been there. I tried to make an appointment on-​line and did receive an email back. I then emailed them back a response and never heard back from them. I also tried again on-​line to make another appointment and never heard back from them. So after being ignored twice by them, I made an appointment with the one in Marlton and heard back from that spa right away and they answered all my questions. Went today and it was an excellent experience. It’s a shame, ’cause I live in Voorhees and it would be more convenient to go to their establishment but from now on I will drive the extra miles to go to the Marlton location!

MAde appointment for a sport massage but when I arrived they had no one who could do a sports massage and were surprized I did not want to switch to another massage. Receptionist kept giving me a form to fill out even though I kept telling her that I have been here before. Last time came here they waisted 10 min of my time on the forms. I will not go here a third time!

I was very disappointed in my facial. It was supposed to be an hour long and it was about 40 minutes. I’ve had facials before and they usually massage your face and your neck. There was no massage, all she did was keep putting products on my face then using a hot towel to wipe them off. I had to fill out a questionnaire before I was taken back to the room and then when I got back to the room she asked me the same exact questions. She could have just looked at the original paper instead of wasting 10 minutes.
The receptionists were very nice and the place was clean.

The reception staff are always welcoming and very accommodating when you call or walk-​in. Every massage therapist I’ve had has been superb and the membership program is very worth it!
