Massage therapist Nicole was very welcoming and sweet. She checked in to tell me she would be with me shortly and offered a drink of water. Although, ten minutes late taking me back she still went over time of my 50 min massage groupon giving me an hour. She gave a relaxing massage using hot towels throughout, which felt very nice. She seems passionate about what she does, and I would recommend her. Front desk seemed friendly and there’s an ATM in the front as well.

I went today for a facial and it was honestly the worst one I’ve ever gotten. It was definitely not for an hour long, more like 40 minutes and the girl needs some serious, serious practice.

Went to Tracy and I must say it was one of the best facials! When I get a facial I do not like«fluff» just do the microdermabrasion and make my skin glow! She did the job and then some! My skin is glowing! She will be my go to person for facials from now on!!!

I had Olga and she was great. She did a great job with my hair. But the receptionist was so rude and totally ruined my entire day. I felt great leaving but then when I paid the lady blonde short hair was so rude. Because of that its 2 stars. If the front desk lady was nicer it would have been a 5 star review.

I have been going to Bernard’s for about a year now but recently switched over to the Cherry Hill location because I moved to Philadelphia. Marty did my color and Gia did my haircut, both were very skilled and receptive to my requests. I walked out with a great cut, color, and blow out. The stylist assistants, Miranda and Aly, were very sweet and accommodating as well. The receptionists here, well, they could use some social graces. The receptionist who«tolerated» my presence as I paid was a women with dark shoulder length hair and black thick-rimmed glasses. I kid you not, she spent the entire transaction avoiding eye contact and filing her nails. I asked her for assistance with identifying the names of the staff who took care of me and she acted so bothered by me. It is truly a shame that this is the kind of person who Bernard’s hired for the front of house staff. If you go here, you will walk out with fabulous hair but don’t expect any type of warm welcome from the receptionist’s desk.

I am hoping that the new management will see this page and perhaps reach out to those who are unhappy because the place does deserve a second chance. I have been going here since I was a kid. My wife has been going to this location and B2 for many years as well. Jimmy is my guy –he is always available to me and has never once given me a bad cut. My wife has had great experiences and one not-so-great experience but the salon more than made up for it when we brought it to their attention. The VIP card is a great deal(although it used to be an even greater deal). It basically gives you an additional 33% in services if you pre-ay and it is available twice a year. Worth looking into.

The customer service here is awful. I’ve been going here for years because they do a good job of cutting my hair. But they are so rude on the phone when you call to make an appointment. Also, I feel rushed here and tense because there are so many customers. It’s a busy place.

Where do I start… The receptionist girls don’t even smile when they greet you. I felt like i was interrupting them doing nothing. After I waited for a few minutes I was taken back for my massage. I think my masseuse has anger management issues. Her pressure was so unpredictable. At one point she was pounding on my back like she was having a fit. And I could’ve sworn she was playing on her phone or something mid massage. So after I was done with the massage I waited 45 minutes for my pedicure. REALLY!!! I had another appt soon after so I was getting anxious. I should’ve said something but didn’t want to seem bothersome. Eventually someone came to get me. When I was brought into the back I again had to wait again for the nail lady. My seat was horrible. No massage chair and I couldn’t even change the height position or back. Because she was late I didn’t even get the full manicure. I just had her do a polish change. Needless to say I DONOT plan on returning at all. Only consolation is that I purchased this deal from group on. I hope management makes some changes.

I went in for full highlights a few weeks ago with a Groupon in Cherry Hill. I ended up having Travis as my stylist. While I really liked Travis-I thought he was nice and personable, I hated the results of my hair. I have naturally blonde hair and wanted a blonder look because I was in a wedding in Puerto Rico and it’s now spring. I talked about what I wanted with him. He suggested adding lowlights, for an additional fee, to make my hair seem blonder as well as the blonde highlights.(Of course he didn’t mention the lowlights are an additional $ 100.) The end result-my hair color looks exactly the same as before. Exactly. To the point where I met my sisters, mom, and boyfriend for dinner on Saturday and they asked«I thought you were getting highlights today.?» Same thing with my co-workers today-many of them were like it looks exactly the same with some thinking it looked darker. I think he put way too many lowlights in the hair and made my hair look the same shade, tone, color, etc as before. Not at all what I wanted or asked for. Of course, I paid $ 160 with the Groupon to look this bad. They charged an additional $ 90 for«accent lowlights.» I can’t express how unhappy I am. The worst part-I called Bernard’s, emailed them, and contacted them through Facebook-they never responded once. To the managers-when someone tells you they’re unhappy, it’s polite to at least respond. Horrible customer service. I just can’t believe they could screw up blonde highlights this bad.

I went there today because I got a Groupon for a cut and partial highlights and I was really impressed! My colorist, Beth was really friendly an did a great job, the wash was nice and included a short scalp massage and Olga cut my hair — I love it! I got there right on time and they were ready and waiting for me. Overall I thought they were friendly, competent and I would definitely go back.
