Brach Jiu-Jitsu Mma Team Balance

Great school! Friendly and safe environment. Clean dojo. Professor Kenny Brach is a very accomplished BJJ practitioner and a very patient and methodical instructor. This school is great for beginners as well as experts.

I bring my 3 year old son here for his class every week and he loves it. He has already learned so much and he gets better every week. His instructor is great. He’s very patient with him and he really knows his stuff! I would definitely recommend Brach’s to anyone. Check it out !

I began Brazilian jiu jitsu at the end of April and I have since been attending 4 – 6 days a week depending on my schedule.
Professor Ken Brach is a BJJ black belt in addition to a karate black belt. He truly understands BJJ and breaks down the practice into separate weeks. So, when you attend class, you’ll be practicing a certain skill for the week i.e. closed guard, sweeps etc. As the weeks progress, the weeks – which seem like puzzle pieces– come together.
The team is truly like a family. Every practitioner is helpful and looks out for the different belts. Brown, purple and blue belts are always helpful with the white belts and the white belts work together to figure things out and find their own style.
I truly love my experience here.
In addition to BJJ, there is kickboxing and striking, as it is a well-​rounded MMA school. Saturdays are open mat.
There is also the opportunity to compete. Team Balance consistently has in-​house tournaments and as part of Brach’s MMA, we have the opportunity to compete in any Team Balance affiliate and Team Balance HQ in-​house tournaments. The school also has a great relationship with the AGL, though anyone who signs up can compete, it’s nice to know the practitioners who run the AGL.
I HIGHLY recommend BJJ through Brach. He really gets it, anyone with any level of experience can join (I had zero martial arts background) and he will help you grow into a better athlete. The price of the school is also incredibly reasonable.
I can’t say enough great things, it’s truly been a rewarding experience.
