Best Phở I’ve had and everything I’ve tried there is great. The phở comes with a generous serving of mint /bean sprouts /etc, and the noodles don’t stick together like a lot of places. The price is also very reasonable.

Definitely my favorite place to eat some authentic Vietnamese food here in upper San Diego County. I always like to bring in friends and family and its most exciting when they have never tried Vietnamese food! The perks between dinning here and other Asian restaurants is: 1st– The food is definitely more authentic and not Americanized like your local Asian restaurants like Chinese buffet, Panda, or sushi places. 2nd– The Vietnamese cousine holds probably one of the most healthiest foods you can ever taste. Each plate is unique, fresh and favorable. Regardless of what plate you choose, from bo tanh Chanh(lemon cured beef), a Tom Cay(spicey shrimp), Phở Ap Chao(pan fried noodle) to you’re traditional Phở bowl, you will be satisfied. 3rd– If you like exploring new kinds of food you will Fall in LOVE with Phoever because there is a great variate of food to choose from. If you go to any other Vietnamese restaurant you will notice they’re specialty list is short, Bn xeo is hard to find(my favorite Vietnamese crêpe) or they’re specialty lemon salt and pepper chicken wings. I would recommend to try a different dish every time you visit because you will be surprised of all the great dishes you’ve been missing out on. And last of all, The service here is great. It’s not the typical rude Vietnamese restaurant you’ve been too, in fact some of the waiters aren’t even Vietnamese and they sure know this splendid culture. You can hear how the Hispanic and caucasian guy talk to the kitchen in Vietnamese, now that’s pretty rad. Will be coming back PHO sure ;).(Who am I kidding? I come here atleast once a week! Haha)

I’ve been coming here for about 4 years and it’s definitely the best Vietnamese food in our county. I used to go to all the places down on convoy in Clairemont Mesa but moved north. I’d rate it on par with any of the 4 – 5 star spots down there. The food is tasty and the prices are great. Service is enough for the type of dining. I haven’t seen my normal waiter in awhile but this place is super friendly and welcoming.

I came here with my family and we had a good time. We sat outside since it’s quite secluded. The employees all seem to be attentive and respectful. We got three phở and a lo mein dish. There really wasn’t anything special or bad about the phở but the lo mein was freakin good! There was just so much(and perfect amount) of noodles, meat, and good veggies. It wasn’t bland or overwhelmingly saucy. It was just the perfect amount of everything. I also got the sesame balls. Let’s say I didn’t share that and I had my kids and husband with me.

As a fellow vietnamese, sometimes when I see the phở places with good Unilocal rating, I feel good for them. And proud of my own nation’s cuisine. But today’s visit has disappointed me majorly and had me wondering what are these 5-stars reviews about… At first I wanted to give it 2 stars, for a okay taste of the Quang noodles that I had plus above average customer service… Up until at the end, while the last of our group still finishing his food, one of their waiters came up and rudely wanting to chase us out of here just so they can clean up and go home early. If we were the only group there I’d totally understand. But there were still another 2 – 3 groups still eating at the other tables yet they wanted to chase us out already… Wtf? All the phở and bun Bo hue dishes that we were extremely mediocre at best. Their taste for authentic vietnamese food is like worse than panda express for Chinese food. Taste + rudeness + major stomachache are what refrain me from ever eating here again.

I’ve never had such a bad phở in my life. First of all, we waited almost 40 minutes for our food to come. The egg roll was very tasteless. The phở was extremely salty and did not look like the picture in the menu. We had to ask for some hot water to dilute the salty soup base. Will absolutely not recommend this place.

The worst service ever. I’ve been here 15 minutes and three parties just walked in and they all got their orders taken before me. I’m sitting here and everyone working here notices me, but no one is coming to my table. I would’ve given this place a better rating because their food was delicious, but the service was bad.

Meat quality gone down. Food service slowed down drastically. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here. Went the other day and ordered a rice/meat dish. Asked for meatloaf and they ran out. That’s the only motivation to walk in for me. The temperature of the bbq chicken was warm/cool. I expect a hot plate. I’m embarrassed to ask them to heat it up in fear of employees spitting in my food. Please get the order right the first time.

Parking = Pretty good. Service = Very friendly. Atmosphere = Pretty good(can get a little warm, but thats cuz this place is Popp’n) Cost = Very affordable. Food = Bomb Diggity. :) This is my first time here but I think I just found my new place for Phở resturant. Hehe, that sounded funny(for phở). But I digress, you have to check out the little place, I assure you, you will like it. You’re welcome! :)

Came here based off of the other 5 star Unilocal reviews hoping to find a hidden gem in North County. I’ve had my share of Vietnamese food in my life: from homemade, to take out, to sit down restaurants. Let’s just say, I wasn’t impressed. The restaurant was empty so we got to sit wherever we wanted. I choose a booth on the side which was awkward because the back of the seats were too far away from the table. My husband wanted to change to a table but I told him to stop making such a big deal about it. We ordered spring rolls, bun thit nuong(rice vermicelli with bbq grilled pork), and banh xeo(crispy Vietnamese crêpe). +Service: Quick and friendly. He didn’t really know if one the sauces were gluten free so I just avoided it and asked for something different. If you have a gluten free menu, your staff should be educated on what has gluten and what doesn’t. +Spring Rolls: Nothing out of the ordinary. Came with peanut sauce, I asked for a side of nuoc mam because I like dipping my pork spring rolls in fish sauce. +Bun Thit Nuong: Great. Lots of meat and noodles. Could have gone a little easier on the lettuce. Came with one bowl of the fish sauce. My husband asked for a second bowl and poured it all over. +Banh Xeo: Ordered the vegetarian version. Was way too overcooked. The edges were burned and the whole thing was so hard that I cut the roof of my mouth trying to chew my food. I pretty much had to soak it in fish sauce for a minute to make it barely edible. Will not be ordering this again. I’ll stick to Phở Ca Dao in Rancho Bernardo where the service and food never disappoints.

The service was excellent, better then any phở place ive been. The phở meat was not so great, there were too many tendon and tripe that were too chewy and not as soft. They were as tough as cartilage. Broth tasted average, It didnt taste like they make their own broth. Overall it was so so…

A surprise find in this area. Although the restaurant décor can use a face lift, the food is actually good. The food came out pretty authentic and they do have lunch specials. Their ice coffee was a very refreshing too. The chicken noodle soup was very savory which I think didn’t need help from MSG Their fish sauce was a bit on the salty side, and we had to ask for extra lemon to balance it out.

I cannot proclaim to be a connoisseur of Vietnamese food but, I certainly know when food has been cooked with painstaking care and effort. My husband actually has eaten his fair share of Phở so he’s more particular and educated than I am. We were seeking some hot soup on this cold day as I was under the weather and in need of getting it together for the upcoming holiday. The #15: chicken noodle soup was just what I needed but, beyond the health virtues it was the best I’ve ever had. The broth was hearty and delicious, the meat was absolutely tender and the veggies both on the side and in the soup were fresh and fragrant. The hubs chose the #13: with rare steak and meatballs and stated it was perfectly cooked, flavorful and one of the best he’s ever had. We also chose the calamari to start which I’m now obsessed with and am already dying to go back for. Not chewy as calamari can be and served with a delicious sweet sauce on the side. The server was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their delicious food!

We wanted to check out a new local eatery. Based on the reviews we decided to check it out. We came for lunch on a Sunday about noon. We were seated right away. Only a few tables were taken up. We were told sit at corner booth in the back next to the drink refrigerator and cash register. First off the leather seat cushion was torn. So the place needs some sprucing up. We placed our orders and food came out really quick. I ordered phở chin which is the lean rare steak and he ordered bun gao vermicelli noodles with BBQ chicken and fried egg rolls. The phở was good, the meat to noodles ratio was very good. The broth was very nice and came out hot. The vermicelli noodles were also pretty good. He really liked the BBQ chicken. Only downside was the piece of HAIR in the fish sauce that was suppose to go over the noodles. We sat there and waited to get the attention of a waitress. It took so long that I decided to get up to ask for another bowl of fish sauce before our food got cold. Even then it still took a couple minutes to get it. When we did a new bowl it was half the amount of the first bowl. Overall food was good. Customer service needs improvement. Asked for the check and that took another 5−10mins. I felt like we were lost in that corner. I’m willing to come back another time because the food was good but I hope the customer service improves.

Amazing food here! I got the A1 combo for an appetizer and it came with 2 egg rolls and 2 spring rolls w shrimp. Come with peanut sauce which is perfect as well as a fish sauce which I am not a fan of. Also ordered the Egg Roll and BBQ Pork Rice Noodle plate and poured the rest of the peanut sauce in as well as some Siracha and spicy chile that available at each table. I was completely satisfied and stuffed after my meal. Definitely worth it all. The wife ordered chicken phở and it was also jam packed w great flavor and added spice. Veggies all taste fresh. Thai Tea w Boba was decent. Customer service was extremely quick and friendly. We had a few different people who work there come to our table and make sure everything was ok. We did not have any type of wait for the booth we sat at. There are lots of tables and many people were coming in to pick up takeout orders. Two entrees, an appetizer and a Thai tea for $ 30. We have leftover phở for tomorrow too as long as I don’t eat it while the wife is asleep. If I had to do it again, I would skip the eggrolls and tea because I was overfilled.

Ahhh where do I start? How about A+ for this spot! We are always looking for new places to try some of our favorite dishes and I am so glad we found this Phở restaurant. I’m always craving it so there’s no surprise that I agreed to have what we call a «cheat night» with the hubby. First of all, this place is call in/take out or eat there kinda restaurant. Located right next to the courthouse, it isn’t a huge place but it seats about 18 families comfortably. The parking lot is small and is shared with 3 other big restaurants so get there early if you are going for dinner. We ordered the spring roll/egg roll appetizer to start with and I immediately fell in love with their spring rolls. It was so fresh and they don’t slack off on stuffing it with shrimp. I ordered the Phở Ga which is a fancy way of saying«chicken noodle soup»(LOL) and the flavors were out of this world. 10 hours to prepare the broth??! It definitely shows and they do a dang good job on it. I love that they give you most of your veggies on the side so you can add them into your bowl on your own. Add a twist of lime and the heat of the siracha will make this dish mouthwatering. Order a «regular» size because you will definitely be taking home leftovers. I can’t imagine with a large looks like. Will I be back? Can we go tomorrow!!! ;)

San Diego and the surrounding areas never cease to amaze me with how delicious their Vietnamese restaurants are!!! I eat phở at home in Texas a lot too, but something about the places here make it extra special. After a LONG day of travel(with my husband running on about two hours of sleep), we wanted something fresh, comforting, and spicy for dinner. We could not have picked a more perfect place. The two waitresses who helped us were friendly and prompt. They took the time to explain the vegetarian options on the menu to me as well as answering some questions I had. We started with their vegetarian combo appetizer which comes with two tofu spring rolls and two egg rolls. The rolls themselves were great but dipping them into the vegetarian savory and peanut sauces? Out of this world!!! Those were to die for delicious. My husband got a beef phở bowl for his dinner and I got a vegetarian small phở bowl with tofu for mine. He was in love with the broth in his dish. It was very silky and full of flavor. Mine was a vegan broth I found out, but packed with great flavor as well. It also had rice noodles, bok choy, broccoli, carrots, bean sprouts, and a ton of red chili paste that I added for heat. All the food was sensational and left zero room for improvement. The prices were outstanding as well and being in a strip center lot, parking was a breeze.

5-stars for Phở in Vista. They open at 10am and after 2 straight mornings of corned beef hash and eggs I needed something Asian for breakfast! Thanks to my brother for letting me crash at his place for 3 days for the USPFC games and thanks to him for a Phở breakfast. Phở Ever has a $ 7.99 special: any phở noodles with 2 egg rolls(or a spring roll) and a soda. Perfectly priced. For Vista standards… the phở here was actually pretty delicious and tasty. The egg rolls were good and the service was decent as well. Don’t let the white guy fool you… he’s part of the family and speaks Vietnamese. I’d definitely be back if I am in Vista again. Be mindful of the weekday lunch crowd from the court house… it gets pretty packed.

Phở-Ever?! foreva, eva?! I came here based on the reviews on Unilocal and they live up to its recommendations. And the clever business name. I was with a party of 2 from Escondido(decent phở in esco) but was looking for a place with awesome broth. Upon entering the restaurant we were quickly greeted with friendly smiles and seated promptly. The restaurant is a moderate size place with booth seats along the walls and table counters in the middle. It wasn’t too busy around 530pm and from observing from our booth the staff were very prompt attending others and had a great vibe and friendly upbeat service. Then in turn my table received the same enthusiasm. And we were not rushed when ordering. Food: A1: Combination of 2 Egg Rolls and 2 Spring Rolls(Vegetarian option available) As for their Phở very tasty broth, tender cuts of rare steak(filet mignon cuts) great quality but limited portion, noodles have a different texture from the typical phở places as well. i did get a side of meatballs that comes in a regular size bowl(pictured below). Rice Vermicelli Noodle Bowl with BBQ Pork and Egg Rolls: my fiancée’ ordered. said it was good. Iced Thai tea very authentic and not watered down. Service: fast. friendly. great vibe in the restaurant. Overall: Quality Phở but lack of portion of meat. Efficient service, clean restaurant with 2TV’s. Will definetly come back to try again.
