Visalia Walk-In Medical Clinic

I called to refill a prescription that was from a visit 9 days ago, was told that it couldn’t be refilled without an additional visit, and they would be charging me for the additional visit. I reluctantly agreed and the nurse practitioner I spoke with advised me to be in at noon the following day. I asked if u would be able to be seen and leave within the hour, as it would be on my lunch break, of which she said yes, I would. I arrived at 12:05 pm, apparently without an appointment because the NP neglected to tell me that appointments can not be made to see her, waited 45 minutes to be brought in a room so the nurse can not take any readings and tell me I was brought in so they can make a referral.
Point being, they plan to charge me for not conducting any medical practice, nor even to see a doctor or NP, and refer me to another clinic which is unnecessary with the medical plan I had. Do not waste your time coming to this clinic. If they were looking to help instead of just get my money, they would have actually had a doctor see me.

After receiving an RX for z-​pack, I took one the first day and then headed to a show in Las Vegas and discovered I had left the rest of Rx at home. When I attempted to have it refilled, I tried for several days with no luck, calling them twice a day, suffered through the show and returned home to finish taking the z-​pack. Was billed co-​pay which was payed on ⁶⁄₁₈ and again billed for same on ⁷⁄₁₈. Will definitely not return to this clinic :-{

Unbelievable wait time and there are only about 6 people waiting. Another lady said that she had been waiting 2 hours. They have taken some people back, but no one has come out. Probably would try somewhere else, if need arises again.

I come here every month and have not had a bad experience. The only downside to this place is the wait time! I mean, I am sure if you get here right when they open (8 AM) your wait should not be so long, but this place is pretty popular! The staff here are very nice and accommodating. Like I said, I keep coming back, so that must mean something! Any problem you have; big or small, this place should help you out!
I also like the fact that they do NOT
give narcotic pain killers or shots here, (unless directed by your primary care physician) to me that makes them more professional. Lots of pill fiends out there!
