This place is fantastic! I often see the owner at the store or downtown and have been wanting to go for about a year now. Well worth the wait! Such a friendly staff and the pastrami hamburger was out of this world! I’d rove past 12 different burger places to get to this one on my way home tonight. And the fries are equally as amazing. Can’t wait to go back yet again

This place is gross. The floors are so dirty, so the tables filthy, dirty rags on table. 1 girl up front, I guy in back and very dull. Lukewarm greeting… we were going to stay but decided to just leave.

We came in and got 2 #4’s and a chili cheese fry. For around $ 22. This included med. Fries and a med. drink. The lady at the counter was nice and quick to take our order. The interior of this facility looks like a 1908’s Taco Bell. There is a dry erase board advising that sauces are .25 cents each. The soda machine also informed us we were only able to have 1 refill. We do understand some seats only to quickly realize the people at the table next to us reeked of weed. We moved on down the bench and settled in. After a smidge longer than normal wait, our food arrived. We quickly decided that the chili cheese fries were a mistake. Only because there was so much other food. The chili tastes exactly like Wienerschnitzels. It was good, but we ordered too much. The burgers were good though and I liked the bun. On the whole not a bad place to grab a quick lunch. I really wish I could just give another half star. the place really was kina filthy. The air vent over the tables was black and it looked like it’s never really been deep cleaned. I would have given a full 4 stars if it were cleaner and they didn’t try and nickel and dimed you on everything.

The best in Visalia. Well worth the price for a meal and the staff are some of the nicest people I’ve met. Don’t miss out by going to some burger chain give doc’s a try and you won’t be disappointed. Their pastrami is my favorite.

It doesn’t look like much, but this place is great! There’s plenty of parking and prices aren’t too unreasonable. The menu is really interesting: a mix of American, Mexican, with some southern cooking thrown in for good measure. Portions are generous and there’s plenty of seating if you decide to eat in. Pro tip: Get the milkshake. Always get the milkshake, it’s delicious.

We were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a diner so close to Kaweah hospital. Delicious and friendly. Just the right amount of food.

Wow, the service was wonderful. The food was great. We had a sausage wrap and a sausage burrito. The small wrap was perfect for my moms small appetite. The burrito was almost to big for me to finish. We were asked numerous times if everything was ok, even though the place had 9 or 10 other customers. If you are ever at Kaweah delta hospital, great place to go.

Four because of the atmosphere. Really old fashioned burgers and fries. We loved the chili cheese fries and would stop in just to get them. The pastrami cheese burger was filling and large just like you get way back when. It was almost $ 20 for two burgers, fries, and soda but we didn’t feel we need to have anything else. Come on in and give it a try-you won’t be disappointed.

The food here is actually pretty tasty if you’re opting to go NOT healthy. Great lunch spot with awesome pastrami sandwiches. The prices are really cheap and the food comes out piping hot and made to order. I’ve only been here once but when I went the dining area seriously was in need of a scrub down. Probably hasn’t seen a mop bucket since ever. There’s food scraps all over the floor and tables. I know it’s not a 5 star dining establishment but the lack of cleanliness doesn’t help with your appetite while eating here. Makes me wonder about the sanitary conditions in the kitchen and ugghhh… bathroom. Didn’t dare step in there because I’m not suicidal.

New to the area. Just marked this place OFF my list. I wanted something small and chose the $ 3.99 order of zucchini. It was 8 pieces of BAR quality grease filled crap. It was NOTHING like the picture on the menu! I ate one and asked for my money back. I have found that on the rare occasion, VERY rare that I will ask for my money back, On this occasion, not only was the food bad, but the cook was so wrapped up in a conversation with a guy named«Mike», with a local auto shop name on a patch on his shirt, that he wasn’t paying attention to the quality of food he was putting out?. From the time I walked in the door, the cook was talking in the kitchen, until I gave back my food, where the conversation ended up in the dining room. The cashier was very attentive and understanding when I showed her my food and asked if I wanted something else. I was so grossed out by grease, that I just wanted OUT. I asked for my money back and she was very nice about it. As I left, I thought about where to go eat and kept burping from that ONE piece of grease bread I had eaten. I opted to just go home and make a sandwich. Still burping as I write this an hour later. So gross.

While interning at the Kaweah Pharmacy I was told about this place and how good it was so I decided to see for myself. So good and yummy and the jalapeño poppers were definitely good. c:

In Visalia for a family wedding and looked up this place. Had Doc’s Bacon Cheeseburger Combo. Fries were extremely tasty and hot! Burgers were fresh and flavorful. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. It’s in an old Taco Bell building, so the atmosphere is a bit dingy, but don’t let that stop you. The guy behind the counter was friendly and smiled a lot. We got in before the noon rush. Glad we found it.

The pastrami is awesome. Burgers are really tasty and juicy. Krinkle cut fries are always nice. Good spot for a quick bite downtown.

Pastrami Cheeseburger was very good. Not too juicy to spill out the burger, but enough to enjoy. Good size to fill you up. Crinkle fries were good. Nothing special.

This is our go-to for old school crinkle fries and pastrami sandwiches. We occasionally get other food here too, but this is the main reason for going. When we don’t want bread, we just grab the pastrami fries. So yummy! Plus the guys there are especially accommodating.

Had the pastrami cheese burger combo. Great service and great taste on food. Prices are very reasonable. Only bad thing I can say it’s men’s bathroom tagged with graffiti and no paper towls.
