Starbucks

Love Starbucks and their famous green logo. I don’t think I’ve ever been inside this location and I think I know why — the parking lot kinda sucks. It’s really tight. Other than that, my drinks are always made correctly and the baristas are always so cheerful and friendly.

Edit: These guys get a bad rep and low stars because of the issues with the parking lot. That should in no way reflect the actual service and baristas that are here. The staff is the absolute best staff of any Starbucks I’ve ever been in on the entire east coast. They learn their regulars by name, and memorize their orders. They’re quick, apologetic when it gets a little backed up, and over the top friendly. If the parking lot is that much of an issue for some there is additional parking across the street that isn’t a tight squeeze and easy to get in and out of.
Absolute best Starbucks around here! The staff is perfection! If there’s ever an issue (which barely happens) they are quick to fix it, apologize, and make it up in some way. They also have a few baristas that will occasionally buy a coffee for one of the regulars (myself included). I honestly can’t say enough things about those who work there and the faces I see on a daily basis!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! The ONLY reason this Starbucks gets a star is for the staff who are super nice! BUT… I have never had my drink come out right there. My go to drink is a tall nonfat mocha (sometimes hot sometimes iced) easy enough right? WRONG… either too sweet, or too watery. I go to school across the street (so to speak it’s actually about 3 blocks down) so because of convenience I wish they were better, but I would much rather go out of my way and all the way down to providence or battlefield to get my drink right!

Despite my having only five cheek ins here, I come nearly every day. You could even say I’m a bit of an addict. I typically have a very-​special-​ordered caramel macchiato, I get it the same way every day. I’m not going to lie, they get it wrong a lot. Despite that, it never bothers me, and I keep coming back, even though there is another Starbucks very close. Why, you ask? Because of the people. They are so, so sweet. They are always super friendly, and have no problem fixing my order if it is wrong. Most of them greet me with a smile and are super friendly… there are a few that aren’t, but fortunately I don’t see them often. The parking lot is the absolute worst, stupidest parking lot I have ever seen.

Worst Starbucks ever. The bearded guy at the counter was so high maintenance and «mouthy» he was actually arguing with me over a drink — completely unprofessional and poor lack of genuine customer service. He kept on trying to talk above me and kept on running his mouth — I got so frustrated with his demeanor that I just wanted to get out of there and not give them my business. Don’t waste your time at this location — head to the one on Providence.

Always a great experience here. They go above and beyond. Yes, the parking lot is a pain but worth it for the service and accurate drinks every time.

Good drinks and funny drive thru guy that left everyone inside laughing hysterically. I often come here to do my school work when I get the chance.

The staff is always welcoming and nice every time.
The parking lot is horrible. It’s always packed and can never get out. They need to have two exits instead of one.

I get notifications from Starbucks on my phone that inform me if a Starbucks is close by and the remaining balance on my Starbucks card. It proved very useful yesterday after I bought drinks at the Kempsriver Starbucks. I was wondering how in the hell my balance went down to $ 2 and some change when I had just put $ 15 on my card (making my balance $ 23-​something). My husband bought a tall mocha drink and I got a grande strawberry shortcake Frappucino (which turned out to be waaaay too sweet). Surely those two drinks didn’t amount to $ 21! So I check my balance on the handy dandy Starbucks app… Turns out our ditzy barista charged me TWICE, which means I must’ve paid for the customer behind me. Sure, I don’t mind being a generous soul, but only when I feel like it. I just feel gypped.
This is exactly why I go to the Starbucks in the Fairfield shopping center. I have never encountered any shenanigans over there.

It’s so hard to review a place like Starbucks.
Service: friendly… even informed me about the BOGO cookie straws (extra points!). Didn’t even flinch or give me the side eye when I asked for the Snickers frapuccino from the secret menu. She did, however, ask for the recipe, which is what I expected.
Execution of drinks: While my drink was really tasty, it was a little watery. I mean, of course I still drank it. I’ve just have drinks executed a little bit better at other locations.
I know, I know… it sounds like I’m being really nit picky… but I can’t help it bc I’ve had better. Yep… look down at me with your reading glasses… I feel the judgement! It’s okay! Either way, the execution of my drink is why I gave four instead of five stars. I’d definitely come back to this location when I’m in town again.

The store is small but I can never find a clean spot. Whether I go to the counter or the table it doesn’t matter.
The bathrooms are acceptable and the baristas are professional and nice.
I have never had an issue with the drink or food item. I have even arrived to this store as early as the key turn and I was served with a smile. Other than the lack of a clean spot to sit, it’s a nice place.

I know technically the recipes are the same and your favorite drink should taste the same everywhere. But from what I’ve heard not all baristas are created equal. I don’t have a drink I’ve tried at a dozen locations so I cannot attest to this.
I like this location. It is in a decent sized shopping center, you can get a full meal elsewhere. This location has a drive thru and a very small outdoor eating area. The «patio» is too close to the drive-​thru lane for my liking but it works if you need some sun or air. The lounge area is super cozy and well lit. And spacious enough for this location.
I’ve had great experiences with the staff here. I appreciate their cordiality and excellent customer service. A few times the staff went the extra mile and I really love great customer service.

This is the Starbucks I typically go to. However half the time I have to continue on my route and not stop in due to the excess cars and horrible parking that this Starbucks has. I do believe with some changes to their parking lot their sales would greatly increase. Other than the horrible parking and terrible congestion in the drive-​through, the staff has always been pleasant and greeted me with a good morning when I was able to get in. I enjoy Starbucks as it is supposed to be a quick stop for coffee on your way to work, but since I do not have a Starbucks in my travels other than this one I am forced to make my own to guarantee my hot cuppa coffee in the morning.

This location is hit or miss which extends not only to items in stock, but to staff friendliness. There are a few locations near me and this one is generally the last that I will go to. They don’t always get the drinks right and they are often out of the extras. I have given up on ordering the flourless cookies from here. Wouldn’t it make sense to say that if you are always out by noon, that you probably need to start ordering more?
The pluses of this location are that it is easily accessible. There is plenty of parking and the drive-​thru is easy to get to. There isn’t an excessive amount of traffic in and out. The drive-​thru is void an awning or cover when pulling to the window, so if the weather is rainy, you can count on getting wet.
The interior of the place is nice. It is large with a good bit of seating. There is even a more private area in the back that is separated by a decorative wall divider. That area has several small tables with a bench seat across the back area and chairs on the opposite side.

I don’t usually review Starbucks locations. Generally I find the whole process very streamlined at these establishments, so I don’t think there’s a lot to say. If you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all.
I used to frequent this location a few years ago, and at that time it set itself apart from the rest because of the absolute hilarity of the staff. I loved getting my coffee from here through the drive-​thru because everyone was so nice and personable, and were happy to joke with you. It made this location unique in a sea of generic coffeehouses.
I recently moved to this area and have gone through the drive-​thru twice, both times with similar experiences. Gone are the funny and accurate staff. Both times I have waited more than fifteen minutes in the drive-​thru for very simple orders. Both times I have witnessed the person in front of me have his/​her drink prepared incorrectly and have to be remade. People are still friendly, but they appear overwhelmed with the number of people they are serving. This location has gone from being my absolute favorite to one I’d prefer to avoid.
There is another Starbucks just down the street inside Harris Teeter on Ferrell Parkway. If time is of the essence, it may be worthwhile to try the HT location.

I go here all the time because I have to, it’s on the way. The staff are great, but they are constantly out of things I want, and the location is horrible for the volume they get. The drive thru line frequently laps the building, and blocks drive thru exit causing a deadlock. When the drive through line is full, there is no room for a whole row of parking spaces to get out. It’s horrible. I account this to the owners because it’s totally fixable. There is also no significant rain cover for drive thru customers either, another optional expense for the owner. So if it’s raining, you just get rained on in your car. The entire parking problem could be solved by moving their dumpster and having a separate exit…
Going to have to look elsewhere, simple because the parking situation is so bad.

Drinks are always perfect here. Food –sandwiches and pastries are always great. But my favorite about this place? Peggy! She’s always so nice and personable. I miss going to this Starbucks. I used to live in this area and saw her almost every day. Hehe.
The drive thru is cool, the store itself is cool. The worst thing about it is parking!!! Awful, totally awful. If you park, and then a line for the drive thru forms, you’ll have to do some special maneuvers to get out. Way too tight. I repeat, WAY TOO TIGHT. Not for the sucky drivers like myself). It’s the reason I pretty much always just drive thru, or park somewhere else. Hehe.
Again, GREAT Starbucks, horrible parking.

This location really can’t read a recipe.
I order the same thing over and over. Every other Starbucks gets it right.
This one makes up their own thing.
The drink I get is made with black tea and this location insists on making it with Green tea.
The worst part was ordering and paying for scones and not getting them or a refund.

My first time at a Starbucks. Had a mocha vanilla latte with whip cream and cinnamon!!! The service is amazing! Very happy and friendly staff that early in the morning. It’s great !!!
