Where a kid can be a kid! We usually stop here after a long walk @ Pleasure House Point Park trails. Lots of new play equipment for the kids. Located on a dead end cul de sac makes a safe place for children where there is no heavy traffic. Parking is on the road or on the side with designated parking spots. You can see families walking their dogs, people fishing in the pond or just hanging in the park. I like that the park is covered with some trees and provides shade from the sun. If you sit on the right bench you can see the bay in the distance and boats going by. They have covered picnic tables if you wanted to pack a lunch and hang for awhile!

Adjacent to Pleasure House Point Park and tucked way back into a neighborhood off Shore Dr. you will never find it without GPS. However, once you do find it I am sure that you will be as excited as I was. Parking is off the road and not a lot of it, but no worries because it is never busy… because again no one can find it. But this should all change in the Spring. This is a city park and offers a nice playground with two very small shelters. The BONUS is that you can also enjoy Pleasure House Point Park too. This little park is easily walking distance from the new educational center being built on a 10 acre parcel of land that is directly on the newly acquired Pleasure House Point Park. Recommendations for an age range on the equipment is 2 – 12. Come and enjoy, it’s a cool little place.
