Lago Mar Pizza

Great pizza but DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. Tried having it delivered on multiple occasions and it was either cold or took practically double the time they promised it would. Great place to go dine in but terrible for delivery and they won’t be up for the with you about timeline.

The service and food were both great. Ordered a Greek salad and a 12″ Portuguese pizza. Being a NYer and a culinary graduate, Im picky about my pizza. It wasn’t thin crust NY style, but it was delicious none the less. Would definitely recommend.

I was going to order a pizza. But apparently you were unable to answer the phone at 10:40 PM. 20 minutes before you close. So much for business hours. I guess I’ll take my business to Dominos.

Just paid $ 30 for a cold sub, wrap and wings that took over 75 minutes to be delivered.
We have ordered from here before and food is usually decent but they were off their game tonight. I called in our order at 415 and was told 45min to an hour. I had to call back to give them my credit card info as they did not ask for it (husband said this happened last time and he had to wait for delivery person to call in credit #).
I called a third time around 520 wondering where my dinner was and I was told «the food has left the store. I just came in so I don’t know what happened».
I was not offered a discount or coupon or a sincere apology.
The delivery driver did say he was sorry for the wait but I am not happy to eat cold food, especially when paying such a high price.
We will not be returning the future.

Bad pizza delivered slowly.
We tried Lago Mar Pizza for the first time and it was really disappointing. We had two 10″ pizzas delivered to our home 5 minutes away and it took an hour, When they arrived, it looked like the driver drove an hour on a bumpy road and then dropped them a few times for good measure. The cheese and toppings slid to one side of the pizzas and half of the toppings were on the side and top of the box. The pizzas were actually cold so we salvaged as much as we could and heated a few slices in the oven. Very disappointing tasting pizza and very slow delivery.

Pizza was okay. Crust was hard and inedible. Sauce was acidic and gave me heartburn for two days. Charged us for too many items. Expensive for what you get. I would not go here again.

Family was staying in Sandbridge for the week. Took a chance on this place since we noticed they delivered to the beach. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Lots of toppings, great crust, quick delivery.

In town from Chicago. Pizza is OK, a little too bready but the kids love it. we had the Stromboli and it was awesome. I would give it a 5 for the Stromboli, but the pizza knocker it down one.

We ate at Lago Mar’s as a 10 o’clock stop as they were closing up. The owner was very understanding and made a new pizza for us that was fresh and hot. The dough was soft and fluffy, and the sauce was also good. And the baklava was the bomb. Defiantly a recommended restaurant.

Best pizza in VA Beach. The crust is soft and chewy. We were looking for a quick meal
after a long day a Busch Gardens, this place was open even after 10 pm. The owner was great, she was very friendly! Don’t hesitate to order from here. The baklava was awesome, better than the one that I make! And I know good baklava, since I too am a fellow Greek. The gas station in fromt might be a turn off for some, but don’t let that stop you. We were visiting from Boston, and if we come back to VA Beach, we will definitely come back.

Lagomar pizza is incredibly convenient for me, which is probably why I gave it 4 stars vs. 3 stars.
Pros: good, greasy, bready «bad for you in all the best ways» kind of pizza. If your not looking for healthy, but just want that good rich pizza, this is a good place.
Cons: Restraint itself seems really gross… Needs a serious deep cleaning.

I ordered an XL pepperoni pizza and a M margherita pizza for delivery. It was on a Friday night, so I can understand why it took almost an hour before getting the pizza. The delivery man didn’t seem to be in a good mood even though I was extremely friendly and even tipped him well for rather lazy customer service.
I don’t think that dough is made fresh. The toppings were fine but I couldn’t eat the crust and thought the dough tasted funny.
If you’re hungry, the food will fill you up. But unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I live in the Ocean Lakes area and Lagomar pizza is one of my fav. pizza place. Whether I’m picking up after a long day @ Sandbridge Beach or getting delivery on a Friday night this is my fav. They offer inside and outdoor seating just in case you still sandy from the beach.
They offer specials, so we always get two mediums with two toppings for around $ 18.00. Fridays are usually very busy for them so I get it delivered. They estimated a delivery time of an hour but ended up being around 35.
Lagomar Pizza will not disappoint.

Best pizza around! My favorite is the Mediterranean or the chicken barbecue, but everything else I have tried has always been delicious. Family run and very reasonable prices. A must stop if you are in the sandbridge area

I’m thoroughly impressed with this place. It looks like a gas station /​convenience store spot… but it’s so much more.
I do love their pizza, but specifically the chorizo pizza! It’s got that wonderful Portuguese sausage and peppers! It’s seriously delicious!
I’m also a huge fan of their Greek gyros! I’m a HUGE gyro fan and I can say that I’m very satisfied with this one. I come just for that!
Finally, the garlic knots are great! Make sure that whoever you’re with also eats them so that the conversations can continue throughout the night!

A surprising little pizza joint! We ordered the Mediterranean and it was very good. The crust was tasty and they loaded it down with toppings. Very fresh tasting. We only stopped here, one to get gas, and two, to sit on their side porch because we had out dogs with us. We were pleased with out lunch and it definitely hit the spot. The inside is decorated with ALL kinds of soccer stuff. Pretty cool. It’s not fancy but the food is good, and service very quick and nice.

Had the garlic cheese fries and chicken delight pizza! Food was great but service was mediocre, she wasnt very friendly.

We only ordered pick up from here, although when stopping in a remember it being a classic pizza place sort of restaurant.
The pizza its self was good and it was a very inexpensive and convenient option for Sandbridge and the surrounding area.
All in all i was very happy with this place, not my favorite pizza ever but much better than any chain restaurant.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I love this pizza and even more, I love the ravioli, but mostly, I love the cheese fries. Wicked delicious, I could eat them everyday and not be upset about it. I admit, ive only received Lago Mar for delivery, so I cannot actually review the actual establishment, but based off typical delivery places, this place is a-​ok in my book. The portions are more than fair, and they include breadsticks and salad with the entrees. My husband and I usually share and it is more than enough. Delivery was fast and I will absolutely order again and again and again. Thumbs up, dudes.

My last visit here was about a year and a half ago and by god I had forgotten just how darn good their pizza is. The decision to go here was my brothers, he and his family were passing through on a trip to Fla.
We arrived kinda late, I’d say around 9:30 pm and things were winding down for the evening. We had the restaurant to ourselves and two waitresses taking care of us. Everyone had smiles on their faces and were extremely accommodating. It’s an absolute pleasure to have a happy staff taking care of you.
We ordered a pitcher of beer and an extra large pepperoni pizza. The wait was about 12 – 15 minutes for the pie and during that time we finished our first pitcher and chatted with the staff a bit.
Then the pizza, and another pitcher, arrived. This is what I had forgotten. The dough is the real star of Lago Mar’s pie. I’m not sure if I can describe it properly however it’s a very very fresh medium thickness dough, has a unique taste and is sturdy enough that you can pick up your slice without it completely dropping. The rest of the toppings, sauce, cheese & pepperoni were good, but don’t stand out like their dough does. It’s a very good pizza and there was NOTHING left.
I’m telling you, if you’re in the Sandbridge area and you want some pie, or don’t mind taking a drive for some good pizza, you owe it to yourself to go here. You won’t find anything better in Sandbridge.
