Nice local eatery. Good dogs, great hamburgers and homemade cakes are to die for. Wait staff is always super friendly as well as the owner who always checks to make sure you enjoyed your meal. Nice casual spot for a quick bite. Don’t be fooled though. You will not leave Hungry. Portions are good and the variety makes this a great place for the whole family.

Didn’t even know this place had a small bar attached. They are the cleanest, and most affordable place off Holland Rd I feel.

What a gem! Don’t discount this place as «just» a hot dog joint! Great food for a great price. The menu is amazing with fresh local seafood and amazing specials. We have not been disappointed yet!

I’m becoming a regular at this location; don’t come expecting the same menu a quality found at the other locations. A couple of retired firemen own it and seems to be a «FUA» in name only. The hotdogs are way above average, but go for the fresh local seafood. Grilled scallops cooked perfectly, fresh(I watched the guy deliver em) oysters! I couldn’t resist and had a dozen steamed and another dozen on the half shell. Good draft beer selection for a small place. Taking my wife next trip.

Idk why the reviews are few and low stars? It is tucked away in the corner of the shopping center though. Burgers are delicious and the price is good. Great hotdogs, sides and beer prices!

It was our first time here today. The prices are very reasonable, service is fast, food tastes great, and the atmosphere is clean. Firefighters own the business, and the people who work here are pretty well mannered. I got a burger and fried pickles. They cooked it just the way I asked, and put all the toppings I requested without an extra charge. Overall, very pleased! Worth a visit!!!

I was craving a good hot dog when I stumbled upon this place. Customer service was really good, the place was pretty clean, but the hot dogs were very bland. No taste at all. I was hoping for the taste you get up north in NY, and NJ. But it was far from it. If I was them I would change up the brand. Maybe get some Sabretts or Nathans. They were real skimpy with the fries too. I may consider going back to try something else but def no more hot dogs.

Not at all the small hotdog-stand like place I was expecting. In actuality, it has a local diner feel, a respectfully varied menu, and fresh made food(to include stemmed shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops). I had the fish(delicious and flaky) and chips(fresh cut potatoes made there) and will definitely be returning for my hot dog fix! They are open on Saturday and Sunday.

Very happy with this find. It is so close to my house too! Great place for a quick lunch on the way to or from the beach/pool. They had a good variety of featured items not on the menu. My hot dog was awesome and my husband also loved his. It isn’t super cheap, but if you want cheap just go through a drive through or make it yourself. I also liked they had a few good cocktails there.

These hotdogs taste like crap. A Hebrew national has more flavor than this dog. It doesn’t help that they use the cheapest buns and they skimp out on the toppings. I ordered their original famous Al’s dog with onions and relish. I got a thin average sized dog with little onions and just a slight bit more relish. I would understand it if they wanted to not spill any of the toppings but i had $ 3 for that sh! t. There was no taste to dog and the bun was dry, and taken right out of the bag that was probably bought from your local supermarket. My friend ordered their cheese burger and fries. He said there was nothing great about the burger but the fries tasted like frozen supermarket quality crap. There were 2 good things about this place; the service was friendly and they had 2 huge tv’s, for had cartoon and the other had sports center to keep kids and adults from thinking about the poor quality of food they were/just got served.

Famous Uncle Al’s Hotdogs is located down the street from my house and my friends and myself were looking for a relatively close place to recover after a night of drinking. The eating area is reminiscent of an old diner with a bar area to eat and tables adjacent to it. We came because we simply wanted hot dogs and that’s exactly what we got. Service was perfectly fine and food was all right. Nothing to write home about but it wasn’t exactly bad either. A-OK as my 3 star rating sugests.

Nothing to get excited about. Sub-par hot dogs with mediocre toppings. You could honestly go to your local supermarket, buy all the necessary ingredients, and make a way better hot dog. I guess the food is okay if you’re really hungry and too lazy to cook, but there are better places in the area you could go to to satiate your hunger. Saying that alone might have been too generous.

Not my favorite. Eh. This is a chain spot with dogs and stuff like the name says. Not famous by my standards. I don’t like to give a bad rating based on one visit unless it is deserved but it it here. Here is why: I don’t eat pork so, I asked if the dogs were beef and the older lady behind the counter says yes. Luckily sitting by the bar was another waitress. She seemed to know what she was talking about. They have all beef dogs but, you have to ask for them… Also strangely enough they seem to think that Yuengling is an import. If this is news to you, it happens to be the oldest brewery in the US, located in PA.
