I’m sorry I didn’t listen to the past reviews. I tried this place out and oh boy what a disappointment. The services services sound amazing, but falls short. The staff is not knowledgeable, the customer service is par and the actual treatments are gimmicks. The live food café is VERY limited. I gave two stars for the idea and décor. If I didn’t buy the groupon deal. I WOULDNEVERRETURN!

I really enjoy this place for their detoxification services and holistic approach. The detox services I use are the Far infrared dry sauna and the electrolysis foot spa/foot bath. Despite the bad reviews previously given, I think some have been unrealistic in what naturopathy can provide. No, they don’t take insurance but you can write the services off on your taxes as healthcare expenses. I give 4 stars for not having alkaline water and for the broken shower head.

Usually go here for the steam sauna but this time I went in I laid on the massage table for 30 minutes waiting for them to pull the tent down and they never showed. They forgot I was there, so I told them I don’t have time to just wait around, so I left. There’s only two or three people working and they are just sitting around doing nothing. Kinda sad.

All of the walls here are very bright and cheery. The place definitely has a Zen quality to it as well. I personally know Erica, the owner, and she really practices what she preaches :)

I went to Essential Wellness after purchasing a maximum-detoxification wrap on . I arrived 15 minutes ahead of my appointment time as requested to fill out the necessary paperwork & then had my blood pressure taken & a few more questions asked my a nurse. I then went into the room & changed into my bathing suit. Clothing is optional but they say the less you wear, the better & do offer disposable modesty undergarments as well. Once wrapped I laid down on the massage like table & the tent/canopy was lowered. It was very peaceful & not near as hot as I had anticipated it to be. I actually fell asleep I was so relaxed. Afterward, I was given a glass of water & a towel to wipe dry with. It was a much cleaner process than I had expected… no shower necessary(& also not suggested for the rest of the day) The reason I only gave Essential Wellness 3 stars(really more like 2 ½) is because I didn’t receive the full service as it was written in the Groupon. The Groupon stated… «The all-natural maximum-detoxification wrap begins with an initial body measurement followed by a 30-minute session in which bone blankets are swathed in warm, herbal, mineral-soaked linens. Cocooned guests will then nestle into a steam canopy bed for one hour while the balmy vapor stimulates the body’s natural detoxification system. Plugged pores will weep tears of salty sweat while purging hidden toxins and the secrets from summer camp it pinky-promised never to reveal. The rejuvenating service comes to a close as Essential Wellness’s mummifiers provide a post-treatment body measurement to access inches lost.» No one took my measurements before or after the wrap to «access inches lost.» And, I was in the canopy bed for 30 minutes, not one hour as stated. I found the body wrap to be very relaxing & the staff was very friendly & professional as was the establishment. However, I did not receive the full services I paid for & expected. I would definitely not pay full price for this service, but others may find it more appealing. I would rather spend the $$ on a massage.

I had scheduled an appointment initially and was told after I arrived that my appointment had been cancelled. They had my contact information, however, they made no attempt to contact me and let me know. I scheduled a second appointment. After I arrived for the second appointment, I was kept waiting 20 minutes from my scheduled appointment time. The owner had brought her child to work that day. The child sat behind the desk in the reception area where I was sitting and whined because she could not find her«rainbow games» on the computer. The child escalated the whining to screaming during my massage and the owner kept leaving the room in an attempt to quite the child. I had paid for two massages because of a special that they offered. I agreed to pay for the massage that I had received, however, because of the bad experience; I said that I would not be returning for my second massage and requested a refund. They refused to refund me for the second massage.
