It’s okay, nothing spectacular by any means, the only thing I really enjoyed was the salsa that the chips came with, would have much rather eaten at Taco Bell, cheaper, and better food.

My wife and i had dinner here during Labor Day weekend. She had shredded pork tacos. She enjoyed this dish. I had the grilled tilapia covered with onions and grilled shrimp. They did a great job of cooking fish. We would return herd for dinner. My fish dinner came with side order of avocado and lettuce. Avocado was fresh. Total cost was $ 52 which included one margarita.

This place was memorable. Memorable because it is easily one of the top 3 worst restaurants I have ever been to in my life. I should have known when I walked in the door and didn’t see any Mexican people working there that this was going to be bad. I was looking forward to the Horchata, but of course they were out. First thing we ordered were the chicken«nachos.» The cheese was straight out of the can and into the microwave. They came in soggy with chicken that looked like it was removed from a can of soup. Most disgusting nachos ever! Plus the waitress didn’t even bring plates for us to eat with. Then came the entrees. We had tacos, fajitas and quesadillas. Everything was delivered wrapped in aluminum foil(we didn’t get why they do this) which made everything soggy. Needless to say, everything was mushy and very disgusting. The quesadillas had the same canned American white cheese as the«nachos» had. Nobody could finish their meals. Everything they serve comes from a can and is nuked in the microwave. Anyone who gives this place more than 3 stars is either associated with the establishment or is just plain stupid. We will never forget how gross their food was. My biggest regret(other than going there in the first place) was that I didn’t take pictures of the food to share here.

We stop last night to have a drinks: margaritas and vodka martini. I was wondering if the bartender every try what he makes. Taste not even close to original drinks. I love Mexican food, but I don’t want to come back for more disappointments.

Good place to stop in and have a beer at, or so we thought. Only a block away from the boardwalk. Otherwise, the chips were a bit stale and the chica that took our order for pourable beers disappeared for 10 minutes. When she showed back up and we asked her, again, for our beers, she said she wasn’t allowed behind the bar to pour. Upon further questioning, she revealed that she had no idea where the guy who was allowed to pour was. As we were leaving we were told the bartender was cleaning up a mess someone left in the rest room. It was only 1pm. Lots of other options on the boardwalk strip here…

We went there last night. It was two families with children 6 and 3. When we got there we ordered drinks and water. Unfortunately the waitress couldn’t get the water order right or really explain the drinks well. When the drinks came they were full of ice, barely any alcohol and just crap for margaritas. Once the food arrived, we realized it would have been better to go to Taco Bell than eat the crap they served. Food quality was so low. This is really more of a tourist trap with fake Mexican food than anything else. I will never recommend this place or ever return with such bad service and horrible food. I rarely ever right this bad of a review and if I could give zero stars I would.

Food was awesome. The chips and salsa was delicious. Had the taco salad and normally I don’t eat the beans but it tasted good together in the salad. The fajitas look delicious. Will eat there again on our next trip to Virginia Beach.

Me and my girlfriend both absolutely love Mexican cuisine. No surprises that anywhere we go we almost always look for a nice Mexican place to eat. After around 4 – 5 hours in the water, we were tired and i Unilocaled for a Mexican place. This place only had 3 stars but we decided to give it a try since it was pretty close by… We ordered fajitas and fish tacos … We were genuinely surprised… The food was absolutely amazing. Esp since its tough to get veggie fajitas good. They were amazing. The chicken fajitas were also too good… The fish tacos were superb aswell. Totally awesome since this place was on the oceanfront and we didn’t expect to find anything except sea food to be good. Totally worth giving it a try :)

I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that my shrimp quesadilla are better than hire rude service and awful guacamole… Still waiting though for my drink? That is the reason that iv awarded two stars. I also can’t help but to think that my food will be tampered with given my displeasure. We shall see.

Food was traditional American mexican food. I had chicken chimichanga(with rice bean). It was ok, but hate when they put white cheese sauce on top of it. Strawberry frozen daiquiri was blah .too sweet no alcohol. …service was friendly and FAST

The food here was horrible! Worst food ever. The flies flying around was pretty gross too. Beef taco was disgusting. Chicken taco was disgusting. Enchiladas was really disgusting. Even the rice was bad. Didn’t eat more than a bite of any of our food and the waitress didn’t care. Didn’t ask if there was a problem or anything. Will never eat here again!

On recommendation of my daughter’s previous trip to Virginia beach we stopped to eat at cancun fiesta while on our vacation here. It wasn’t really busy since it was raining and not many people walking Atlantic ave. seated right away and chips and salsa were served. The salsa is not chunky which I liked also it is hot so watch your tongue! Ordered chicken chimichanga which had a nice queso sauce on top and spinach and chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Both were very tasty. For dessert the sopapilla. It was like a flattened elephant ear with honey, chocolate, and whipped cream. Too much whipped cream but it was really good. Prices good. Definitely a winner in my book and a nice change from all the seafood

I wanted to like this restaurant. The drafts are good sized and priced right. That is the good. Unfortunately, the service and food were lacking. My food was cold and poorly prepared. I got the lunch special and the chili rellano was a soggy mess. The batter was not cooked through. My husband qualifies his burrito as good. I might have been in a better frame of mind, but with only two other tables on Friday afternoon we waited 15 minutes after being seated for someone to approach our table. For me, there are too many choices to make this one again.

On my recent trip to Virginia Beach I ate different food every day: American, Italian, seafood, and then on the last day some family members and I ate here. It was pretty delicious. Any Mexican restaurant conossuier knows that xhips and salsa are an integral part of the dining experience — and this place had some of the best tortilla chips I have ever had. Warm and made well(and fresh), the chips came with queso and salsa for dipping. That queso… damn good! I ate it up so much so that pur table of four got two or three orders of chips. Most of us also drank these HUGE28 ounce strawberry margaritas… again, one of the best margaritas I ever had. One of those bad boys gave me a nice buzz, ha! For dinner I got the crab and shrimp enchiladas, ehich were pretty good. Nice taste and texture, enough food to fill you up with the side of beans and rice. Seemed like everyone enjoyed their food for the most part. Right on the strip, this is a good place to go for couples or bigger groups. The tortilla chips and margaritas are worth the trip alone.

The hostess says, «No tables for 4, do you want to wait?» Me, «how long is the wait?» Her, «10, 20, 40, 45 minutes.» Me, «That’s a big range.» Her, «Well it all depends.» Ummmm okay so we added our name, and waited at bar… And waited and waited… For a bar tender. That’s right no bar tender was present. We sat there watching wait staff making drinks for other tables. Ha. Good times. Then the hostess comes by to announce our table is ready. We get to the table and it has 2 chairs, needed 4. We wait, standing there. Waiting. 1 more chair is secured, but the fourth is not available. Standing there 5 minutes, staring at 2 open booths. We are told they are for 5 or more. Finally someone with sense gave us a booth. Terrible before tasting a thing. Waitress was good, apologetic for our meals coming out separately, with the first 7 minutes before the last meal came. Food was bland. The end.

Every time I am on vacation I try to hit all different styles of food. Saw this place and thought i’d give it a try. From the moment I sat it reminded me of my local Mexican restaurant that i have enjoyed many times. The chips were great and the two sauces they provided. Prices to me seemed average as to what I would pay locally, beer was good too. Had the enchilada combination($ 12), that was really good. I’d eat here again no doubt, I am not sure why so many people talk down on the place, though people will find just about anything to complain about.

Was really disappointed coming here! :( The atmosphere inside is awesome and it’s a really nice looking restaurant, but of course you have to sit inside to avoid the sound of the jets overhead. The drinks were really good and strong! The food was extremely average if not a little below. The stars are mainly for the very good service and the drinks. Our hostess was very accommodating to where we wanted to sit, and our waitress was very friendly and polite! Our food and drinks both came out in a very timely matter, and she was super quick to refill any empty glasses. The ceviche was somewhat disappointing because it was not traditional ceviche(raw fish, served as an appetizer) rather, cooked seafood and tomatoes as a main course. It was very small, and should’ve been an appetizer. The chicken(unknown name of dish) was VERY over cooked and seasoned, as was the rice and beans. Every dish was also overly smothered in queso/faux cheese sauce. Another disappointment was the corn tortillas, which you couldn’t substitute for flour ones :( Overall, we probably would never come back. Nor would I recommend eating here, but definitely head over for some margaritas.

I agree completely with Unilocal’s «auto rating» on this one — «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» This place was fine. I think if you go here on a date, maybe sit in the bar area, you’ll have a great time. We rolled in with five adults and three kids, and they struggled to accommodate us. They mixed up the orders, which also came out at different times. They were terrible on refills for water. Even if I’d felt like drinking more than one beer, I wouldn’t have been able to because our waiter(we had a few — not entirely sure who was actually assigned to our table) only wandered by about every 30 minutes. But the food wasn’t terrible, and the beers were cold. The check was right, too. I doubt we’ll return.
