Cal’z Pizza

My friend and I were hungry and had talked about getting pizza recently. He said He had ordered from Calz before and they were good, so we went with a Hawaiian (with chicken instead of ham, and onions), and hot buffalo boneless wings.
I can’t remember the exact price, but it was on the pricier side, than say the other fast food chains. We placed our order and several minutes later, the delivery shows up. At first look, the pizza itself didn’t look very appetizing. As for the wings, I thought it would be the saucy type, but it was more of the drier «less-​mess» type.
The pizza had no flavor, could hardly taste any tomato sauce. Chicken was bland, not a lot of pineapples but a whole lot of onions. Just overall not good. The wings tasted like several-​days-​old wings that they had popped into the microwave to reheat. Tough and dry, had to throw ¾ of it out, complete waste of money.
Never ordering from here again.

The Good:
This is a really nice local (I think?) chain. They have some really awesome deluxe subs here. They also have a great selection of appetizers and side order type stuff. Pizza fries are trashy, but tasty. If you order a large drink, you get a nice company branded hard plastic cup which I’m pretty sure can go in the dishwasher. The «Cal’Zowns» are good as well. The wings are decent. Also, their website has nice pictures of everything on the menu.
The Bad:
Not much really. I personally find the pizza to be somewhat unremarkable, but it’s decent and the Cal’Zilla is good size option if you’re looking to feed a large number of folks. That’s about as close to negative as I can get here really. I used to work close to this location, and I got lunch here a lot, and put on some weight. But that’s not Cal’Z fault is it?
The Bottom Line:
This is perfectly decent place for all your pizza, sub, and wing needs. If you’re tired of the national chains, definitely give Cal’Z a try.

I hope a certain friend of mine (a fellow Unilocaler and a HUGE fan) won’t hate me after he sees this!
I ordered from Cal’z for the second time the other day. We got a coupon in the mail for a FREE 10″ one-​topping pizza with the purchase of a $ 1.99 drink. We ordered online with mushroom as the topping and a 9-​pc order of these breaded cheese-​potato things. Honestly, we weren’t impressed with their pizza the first time we ordered (in January) and the pizza wasn’t much better this time around, as little as we paid for it.
I will give Cal’z kudos for their impressive website. It’s very tastefully done, not flashy but professional, clean, modern and user-​friendly. I truly appreciate local chains who invest in offering online ordering.
To wrap this up, we might be back to try their pasta or a calzone but we’re definitely DONE with their pizza.

Three words: $ 1 pizza slices!

I ordered delivery and purchased the wings hot and bacon cheese fries. I was very unimpressed with all of it. The fries were ok but the wings were gross. The sauce tasted sweet not even close to spicy. I will give the benefit of the doubt and say maybe I just ordered the wrong thing at that particular restaurant, however I doubt I will ever go there again.

Ordered from here several times. Each time something
is wrong. So frustrating to spend $ 50 each time and not enjoy it. Would recommend calling it in rather than ordering online.

Your company should be ashamed to have a manager as rude as MS.THOMAS. She hung up on me as i proceeded to tell her that i should be compensated for their mistake on pickup. To bad you just lost a long paying customer due to her rudeness.

Great wings & munchers. Pizza is ok but was better when the had full slices of tomato in lieu of diced tomato.
Cheeseburger sub is decent. Over all most of their food is really greasy, but some thing are actually better for it though not healthy.
Not a fan of their salads. Yuck

Delicious! I only wish some items were cheaper, although they have some pretty good deals on most things.

GREAT steak sub! Curley Fries are good, and I REALLY appreciate the Awesome customer service… What a really nice, small place! I will keep my business with them from now on.

Subs and WINGS! great wings and i mean great they are to drool for the subs are okay pizza to doughy and kinda on the blah side. this is one of those places you have to know what to order and the WINGS are what to order if that’s all they served with an order of fried dough A MUST HAVE! then they would get 5 Stars from me.

I ordered delivery for some hot wings and chicken strips. I was staying at at a hotel close by. I didn’t want pizza and no Chinese delivery places close by. I ordered, it was on time, the wings were good. All in all, good service and good food.

Love you guys! Normally order for delivery. Would recommend EVERYTHING! I have had their stromboli, their pizza, their wings, and the dessert pastry thing they make. I would have to recommend getting the hot wings because medium/​mild isn’t that hot. Oh and definitely get you a side of some blue cheese!
