Mink Meadows Golf Club

If you are on MV this summer, bring the sticks to play this course. It is a 9 hole semi private course golf course that is meticulously maintained. The greens are some of the best on the island, fast and true. Looking at the layout you might think this a fairly easy course. Think again! The course is challenging but with the wind up it can really challenge even the lowest handicapper. The views from the 8^th hole are fabulous. On a clear day you can see the sound and Woods Hole. If you play 18, the 6^th /​15^th are side by side greens. The 15^th is by far the toughest hole on the course. You need a long drive 225+ just to get into a reasonable position to hit a long second shot into the green. It is well designed hole. The par 3 7^th is fairly easy but do not be fooled by the par 3 5^th hole. Looks can and do deceive on this hole. Accuracy is the key here. If you need to bail stay left.
The course is easy to walk but carts are available. This place is the best deal on the island. Staff is friendly and helpful. Non-​members can get tee times a couple of days in a advance.
