I was really craving a burger at night in vineyard haven and did not want to drive. Bobs was recommended and open on a Monday also. BBQ burger was really good. Char flavor. Evidently under new ownership as of last year. Great place… many options.

This review is based purely on the flavor of the cheese blend used for their cheese pizza. They got their cheese blend down! Perfectly seasoned and super tasty, just how I like my pizza. Just the right amount of grease, too. The dough itself could have used a pinch more salt, but alas, ear wax. The establishment itself is nothing to write home to mom about, but let’s face it, I’m there for pizza, not ambiance. It’s your standard mom and pop pizza joint, which was fine for me as I was doing takeout anyway.

Too much like a seafood food court experience in the heart of downtown Vineyard Haven. I found my choice of a fried clam dish to be fried to the point of crusty(not the level I was looking for) complimented by a larger amount of fries than clams. The rest of the menu choices lacked inspiration, and the whole décor of the restaurant seems like it is stuck in a time a few decades before the mid-2010s.

New owners! Open all winter long! Amazing pizza, chowder and pasta! Friendly and responsive! Bob’s rocks!

Went there with friends and got their lobster roll with clam chowder. Made the absolute best choice, as the lobster was fresh and not doused in mayo(sorry, ate too fast and forgot to take a pic). The clam chowder was soooooo hot, with lots of clams, potatoes, and other spices. I added Tobasco sauce to mine(check out my pic)! Also had their waffle and regular fries — get the waffle fries! Freshly fried and picks up the sauces perfectly. My friend also had the Turkey with bacon panini, soooooo goooood. Not pressed to a pulp, hot, and lots of Turkey meat. The mustard and bacon completes the sandwich.

I recently tried Bob’s BBQ chicken and Hawaiian pizzas and they were scrumptious. I haven’t had anything else from here but I would certainly recommend those items. Some other people in my party said the chicken wings were fantastic.

We popped in here just to grab a quick bite… ordered a medium clam strips, fries and a pepperoni slice. The clam strips were quite good but the rest was just ok. There was nothing I didn’t like so all is well. I had missed that they had meatball subs as the special that day… I would have gone that route if I had not missed it. They had other paninis on the menu as well. We didn’t stay too long… just ate and ran. A few hours later we were hungry again and went to Porto Pizza before getting on the boat back to Falmouth.

Not sure how this place stays in business with the other choices in town. Food is really mediocre and décor is just bad. I guess families and kids like the basic menu of pizza and sub sandwiches but there is really nothing memorable. Great location and open year round. Terrible outdoor seating but such a great opportunity to do something interesting.

I was skeptical at first, but my wife and I loved it. A surprisingly good meal at a great price. Hike the beaches all day with your dog, then grab a bottle of wine and stop by this place for the«South American Leftovers Platter». Take it back to your $ 300 a night hotel suite. If you’re not happy, that’s your own fault!

The fish and chips here were actually pretty good. I’d definitely recommend it. The fish tasted fresh and the tartare sauce was very good too. The atmosphere is what you would expect for a pizza and sub place.

This place is a solid 2 stars. They have pizza, soda, and sandwiches. The Special #1(2 slices and a soda) is kind of overpriced at $ 6.50, but is a decent price for the vineyard. The pizza was on the low side of mediocre.

Agree with the other posters. Good place to grab something while waiting for the boat. Average fare with indifferent help, this place would never survive on the mainland but is great here as expectations for this kind of food are low. I have eaten here twice and found the portion and quality to be very good but the help doesn’t really seem like they care. They will ignore you while fiddling in the kitchen and then eventually come to take your order. I saw two contractors come in last week and ask if they took credit cards. They said no, and the guys left. They could have told the guys there is an ATM machine about 30ft across the street, but didn’t. All in all, not a bad place. But they know they’re the only game in town and it shows.

A decent joint to grab pizza, a sub, or other things to eat in the area. When most places close early, Bob to the rescue. It is a little overpriced, but they do give you a lot with your food. And it seems to be pretty fresh too. There’s also picnic benches outside so it’s nice to sit out there with the breeze.
