I love this place! The staff is awesome and always makes you feel like family. The sushi is delicious and always fresh. The lunch specials for sushi is so reasonable and comes with a miso soup and ginger salad. I try to get it as often as I can. The Mango Tango rolls are amazing and they present the dishes beautifully. I will keep coming back for more!

Nice little place. We were pleased with tHe atmosphere and staff too. Hubby and I had the crunchy spiced samon and tuma and the shrimp tempura rolls. They were delicious! I’d come back!

Lovely and helpful staff. The restaurant is always clean! The sushi is always fresh — and food is always prepared according to how you want it! The portions are fabulous for the price — we eat here at least once a month.
They also stock a local wine from Southwind Vineyard which is a huge plus when the hubby and I are out on a date night ;-)
I usually get the General Tso’s chicken and since I am a spice wimp they tone it down for me! My husband always order one of the specials — or asks to be surprised and has never had a bad meal yet! My picky 16 year old will ONLY eat sushi from here and it is his preferred restaurant for thai/​oriental takeout as well! Kudos to a job well done!

Located right by what used to be– Amish Market, Kura houses Japanese and Thai food here. Got the lunch special! Best deal every time I come. They also have bento boxes, sushi deals and really good miso soup! Perfect for kids, big groups or maybe for date night. Enjoy!

The food is great!!! Love this place. I ordered for delivery and the food was hot and fresh. The shrimp egg rolls were very different than I have had before and very good. Instead of shrimp and cabbage, the egg roll dough was lightly wrapped around a large marinated shrimp that had been straightened out in some fashion. To say the least I was happily intrigued when I open the small bag. I also had the Thai Shrimp Peasant’s Fried Rice, a great mix of onions garlic and I think some ginger, peppers, short grain rice and medium size shrimp. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you are in town.

I have never had a bad experience here. Everything is always fresh, taste great, and presented beautifully. The service is always kind and beverages always filled. If you want some of the best sushi this is the place to go. Bonus it is also B.Y.O.B. or you can buy the wine they have. Will be back again for another visit soon.

Recently moved from Maryland to Vineland, NJ. Have been eating at this place regularly since we moved here a few months ago. This is truly the best deal in the area for lunch. For eight dollars and some change, you can get two sushi rolls of your choice, plus a bowl of miso soup, and a green salad. Everything is fresh, delicious and of high quality. What I like about the sushi rolls is that they don’t use too much rice and play up the vegetables and fish instead. The people that work there are super friendly. Its just a great place to have lunch.

This place is so cute. You can tell they put a lot of money into decorating it. First, the miso soup was fresh and delicious… loved it. I ordered avacado rolls and they were so delicious! The soy sauce is the best I ever had. I then ordered vegtable teriyaki w fried tofu. couldnt finish it. The only critisism I have is my vegetarian dish had a steaky taste like they grilled it on same grill as meat… but overall this is my new sushi place.

My favorite sushi place in the area. Favorite roll is the Spicy Girl. Outstanding customer service, they truly go above and beyond. my server went to the liquor store for us and brought back a six-​pack of Stella! Did I mention she did that for no additional charge? Honestly, that’s unheard of. So clearly the place is BYOB. and everything on the menu is great. The prices are reasonable and I am a regular. I recommend this place to anyone!

My husband and I popped into Kura Thai & Sushi last night on a whim. It was absolutely DELICIOUS. Everything was fresh and expertly prepared. I didn’t even know it was possible to like spring rolls, since all of my previous experiences with them were soggy, tasteless, mushy messes. But the spring rolls here were fresh and crispy with a delicate, tasty flavor. The honey wontons were wonderful too. They were perfectly cooked as well as really flavorful. The main dishes we tried were wonderful too, but unfortunately I can’t remember the name of what I ordered! My spouse got the mango chicken and loved it, though. I highly recommend this place!

Slower service than expected on a Saturday lunch so 2.5. Miso was not salty. Lunch special rolls for $ 8.50 w/​soup and salad was plenty. Gai tom ka was a bit sweet. The Thai Wonton was good. Overall 3 stars.

Pretty Good! We didn’t have any sushi but had the Yellow tail sashimi, Honey cheese pot, Beef satay, General tso with scallops and the Red Snapper Thai dish (pla lard Prik). Everything was fresh and clean ! Awesome is all I can say. Half price appetizers during the week. BYOB ! There’s a Amish market down the street and Balic Winery had a tasting setup so we tasted and bought a bottle for dinner. Service was good, and the place was very clean. All in all a great place ! Definitely going back.

My family and I were the only diners on a Weds night and yet, we were seated all the way in the back. The high back booth with cushions was comfy but it was odd. The service was good, the food was really good (especially the fried tofu on the veggie teriyaki). But it seems because we were the only ones there they wanted to close early and continually came to see if we were finished. For what I was paying for our meal, I expected to be able to sit and enjoy it, not be rushed. I’m from TX so I probably won’t be back but my family possibly could be. Overall a decent experience.

This place just opened recently and all I can say is so far so good! The restaurant itself is very well-​lit and has an inviting atmosphere to it. The waitstaff was very friendly. I even met the owner, Cindy, who was very accomodating and personable.
I ordered an appetizer of shumai shrimp and an order of the San Fransico roll and two pieces of EBI shrimp sushi.
The San Fransico roll tasted as good as it looked. The plate presentation was excellent as was the quality. Same goes for the shumai and the EBI shrimp.
Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience at Kawa and I will definietely be back again.
