I went to this place and wow how times have changed. The food is predictable and very greasy. The help are not as nice as they were last year. I am disappointed because this is the only Latino place to eat around here. I wish the food was fresher and more appetizing I was so upset on how the aculpolleas were so greasy

Can Be Improved GREATLY! SAD! Downtown Vineland Has The Downtown Buffet. The Owner Rushes to put out the food ½ late after opening. Unacceptable for the people that read my reviews that come here on a time limit. If you advertise OPENAT11: am, BEREADYTOSERVE! The Soda Machine NEEDSTOBECLEANED! The Soda from all Nozzles taste like pool water. Pans of left over food was brought out to be served, some pans with only a smidgen of food left over. The Food that was brought out fresh was hot and Lacked Spices. The Beef dishes were tough as shoe leather! The Fried Chicken was good. The Rice was Good. DON’T INSULT your NONLATINOCUSTOMERS!!! Don’t SERVE Dollar Store Cookies and Hostess Donuts as DESSERT! ALL you can eat for $ 7.95. It’s a shame the owner has to be cheap. He’s a hard worker. Economy is tough. STILLNOREASON to reheat ¼ pans of old food. CLEANTHESODAMACHINEHOSES. Everything else in the place is neat and clean. THISPLACEIS A PRIMECANDIDATEFORGORDONRAMSAYSKITCHENNIGHTMARES!

First time i went to this place the food was horrible. I never went back until yesterday with my brother and was skeptical about it as i sould have been. However, they must have new managment or something casue the food imporved and the food was much better. The price is very far 8 bucks all you can eat which if your a big fatty like me is a great price for two or three plates. They have styerofom plates and plastic forks which im not a big fan off because how harmful they are to the enviorment. it is a nice place to take the family out and is very informal. great for a sunday buffet or saturday out with the family. the spainsh food is all typical found at a party but nothing that is not untasty. I enjoyed my second experience so i may or may not come back. depends on my mood. Im still a bigger fan of downtown deli on wood street, vineland, nj near city hall. So when you go there just have a open mind and dont expect to walk into a olive garden. so i hope your first experience is better than mine. And as a hispanic male i know my spanish food VERY well! lol

Downtown Buffet is owned and operated by the same guy who runs Downtown Deli. It has a lot of the same Puerto Rican and Central American foods with even more choices. In addition to the hot foods you find at the deli, there are cold Puerto Rican salads including various kinds of seafood, green salad, desserts and ice cream and American foods on the buffet as well. You pay at the door about $ 9 for adults, $ 5 for kids under 12– and eat all you want. It’s a very clean and pleasant and you will eat well. If you go on the weekend you may have to wait for a table because the place is very popular and packed! Even my picky eater daughter loves this place.
