This was my first time at this Boscov’s inside the Cumberland Mall. I’ve been to Boscov’s before at other malls in the South Jersey area and every time I go to those ones, they never have the 2XL plain black Gildan shirts. This Boscov’s had those shirts and I bought 2 of them.

To be fair, I haven’t purchased anything here, but I have browsed. Prices are decent, selection is pretty good, but finding someone at a register in the sections I was in proved tricky. The store was clean and well-organized, though.

The store is getting old and run down, a bit dirty looking and the customer service isn’t as good as it used to be. Not much as far as deals, this is a «high end» store in a low income area and it shows.

It’s a department store. It’s local so it receives some of our business. As a department store, it’s not great. It is not unlike many, however, in that the quality being peddled is off pace of what one used to find in such stores. Men’s suits made in Mexico, Bangladesh, etc. do not hold up as well. There’s a lot of «fashion» that is non-traditional here. But if one needs perfume, a blazer, etc., he’ll find it here. You won’t be excited, but you’ll have your need. When you want a quality product, you’ll shop elsewhere. Also, Boscov’s received a big bailout a few years ago to keep them going. That rubs me the wrong way and my shopping did slack off after that.
