Made an order for pickup. When I got home, the crab rangoon was missing sweet/sour sauce. No big deal. What made it a big deal is that it was also missing my general tsos chicken. Slightly irritated, I got in my truck and sped off to Peking express of Vienna. Mistakes happen. I called the place while en route using my Bluetooth device and asked why I was missing Mr. Tso’s legendary chicken and my Rangoon juice. The guy on the phone says I never ordered the Gen and that sweet/sour isn’t usually provided with crab Rangoon because customers don’t usually ask for it. Baffled, I asked if my lady friend and I both imagined myself ordering«General tsos chicken» and he validated that I didn’t by saying he personally took my order and said nothing about chicken. Of course he took my order, he’s the phone guy. Not concerned that I was relying on him to provide my food for the night, he said I was wrong and didn’t even offer to take another order. He just kept assuring me that I didn’t order my standard meal of Chinese take out. I just left new China King on maple with a bag full of Tso and a gallon of sweet and sour sauce a happy man, no thanks to Peking Express. I don’t need that kind of negativity in my life ever again. STOPTHEPRESSES!!! Just got home and my significantly honest other just told me that the beef and broccoli tastes gross. I can attest to it. «I personally ate her order».

What a horrendous meal. I ordered a combination lo mein, steamed dumplings and a hot and sour soup. The lo mein was oily and bland, the steam dumplings were store bought and hot and sour soup was bland as well. So much disappointment

I went into this restaurant expecting food at a reasonable price but was surprised at how expensive everything on the menu was. This is only a simple Chinese themed carry-out restaurant, nothing fancy. The first thing that I noticed was that the owners were not even Asian or Chinese and they were running a Chinese restaurant. They were Hispanics or Persians. I mentioned that the prices were very high for a average Chinese carry-out and the owner seemed surprised. I told him that I get the same thing much cheaper at other Chinese carry-outs. He then told me that I was in Vienna, Virginia and that’s why the prices were high. I didn’t take that as a excuse because all the surrounding stores located in Vienna had average and affordable prices. The meal I ordered was only average and not worth $ 12.00. Personally, I have gotten better portions for less at other carry outs. If you are in the mood for Chinese, live or work on Vienna, and don’t want to drive far, this is a decent alternative if you are craving Chinese food, otherwise if you can wait, you can do better somewhere else.

We consistently order from Peking Express and overall have great experiences. They know our special orders and the service is top notch, quick, food is hot on arrival. My father in law and parents ask for food from Peking every time they’re in town.

I brought my family there with a $ 50.00 off coupon and was told before ordering that as long as I spent $ 100.00 of food as specified on the coupon they would honor the coupon… and so I did. About 15 minutes later the owner shows up and refuses my coupon but copies the voucher number. He told me I would have to pay an additional $ 25.00…which I did. When I got home and tried to exchange my $ 50.00 coupon for another one I got the shock of my life! The S.O.B. had called in the coupon as if he had actually honored it! The owner is nothing more than DISHONESTCROOK and I will never go there again! The food did not taste that good either.

Lunch special around $ 8, average food and fast for pick up. I had the General Tso and hot and sour soup. One word to sum it up, BASIC.

I’ve been using Peking Express to cater my clients taking them the food platters from Peking Express. They love the ribs, chicken, spring rolls, fried wonton and many other items included in these platters. Presentation is excellent and my clients always ask me about them. They are Great!

Great Chinese carry-out. Having been ordering here for years. The Kung Pao chicken and shrimp are excellent and the Crispy Beef is the best! Friendly, courteous staff.

Good, quick Chinese food. Is it the best? No. But it’s the best option in Vienna.

I have read all the negative reviews and can tell you that I am assuming that there must be a cook that certainly does not know what he is doing and certainly does not cook everyday! Here is our experience: We always order their Mongolian Chicken because it is the BEST in Vienna. We have tried all the Chinese places in Vienna and this is the BEST! With the exception on one time, the food has been consistent and good quality. The owners are super friendly and make sure that the quality is not compromised. The one time we had an issue with our food was during the owner’s absence. Please try it and if you have any issues, make sure you bring it to the owner’s attention.

Driving home(I have lived in the Town of Vienna for eight years) late last night, I passed Tumeric, Sweet Ginger, Amma, and a number of other places that appealed to me. I thought I’d try Peking Express for the first time thinking it might be the quicker option. I thought wrong. I sat and waited for my order for thirty minutes. People who ordered after me were getting their food many times over before me(no they weren’t picking up called in orders). To make matters worse, the food wasn’t even that good. All in all a bad experience. Giving two stars, however, because those people getting their food before me seemed to be repeat customers that knew the guy at the counter quite well. So there must be some redeeming characteristics about this place. If there are, I did not see them and probably never will after my experience.

Head over heals better than East Shat-hole(some other Chinese place in Vienna) in all aspects. Quicker delivery, correct order, better flavor, larger portions. Will definitely return. Not as good as Panda in Arlington though. VERYSTRANGE The are called Peking, but they don’t have duck on the menu. However, they do have a steak and cheese sandwich, Pad Thai and Pizza Toppings(1 or 2) that vary depending on the day you go. Some days they have pepperoni and green pepper, some days pineapple and ham. ???

This is the only place we go for Chinese food delivery. The food is consistently delicious, is ALWAYS hot by the time it gets here, the order is always correct, and everyone involved from the person who takes our order to the delivery person are friendly and couteous. Always nice to see these days. If you are in the mood for Chinese and do not want the hassle of traffic try them!

I just threw all the food away. Stay away from Szechuan chicken. Bang bang crispy shrimp was made out of cardboard. Combo lo mein was vomit. The worst egg rolls I have ever tasted. How do you mess up an egg roll?! The one thing that was edible was rice. Pathetic. One star rating is a gift.

This has become our go-to Chinese delivery spot in Vienna. Here’s why: +Super friendly service. Easy to communicate with them over the phone, and they are so accommodating when I want to modify a menu item for my order. +Consistent quality. We really like the Szechuan Shrimp, and the String Beans in Garlic Sauce.(They’re even better if you add tofu) The Wonton Soup and Hot and Sour soups are good, too. +Brown Rice option. +Fast delivery. Things I wish would improve just a bit: –Crab Rangoon. Doesn’t taste as good as others I’ve had –Wish they’d add Shrimp Toast to menu. Overall, though, it’s our fave for take/out or delivery.

Ordered the Generals Chicken and Crab Rangoons. The crab rangoons weren’t very good flavor wise so I didn’t eat them. The Generals chicken was drowning in the sauce which seemed a bit too strong in comparison to other General Tso chicken. Not really great but not horrible. I wouldn’t really go there again as it’s just average to below average in quality. They deliver which is why I ordered from them and they delivered it fast so that was good. Reasonable prices. I’m editing this because I felt ill after eating their food. I’m not sure if it was MSG or what but I felt terrible afterwards.
