Elevation Burger

Had really positive feelings about the EB on Lee Hwy in Falls Church from a couple years ago. Currently on a 1 year no meat thing, but I stopped in today mostly for the fries, and saw a grilled cheese on the menu. Ok, I know it’s a burger place, but how hard is it to make a grilled cheese. Time was 12:15 on MLK Day. Not busy at this time. Also, I ordered tomato to be added to the GC. Both the grilled cheese and the fries seem to have been ½ hour old. Wimpy regular bread w/​o the slightest bit of crispness. Cheese was ok, they forgot the tomato (it was on receipt, so request was ignored). So they handed me some cold sliced tomato. Limp fries, limp samich=sad lunch. Sorry, guys.

This Elevation Burger location is the best by far! The bathroom is clean, the floor in the dining area is spotless, the tables arranged nicely and the napkins and utensils holders full and well organized. I love the coca-​cola freestyle drink machine, it makes getting beverages fun! Also, the burgers, salad and fresh fries are always perfectly cooked and delivered right to the table fresh, crisp and flawlessly!
I am Truly impressed with this location’s high quality of food and exceptional level of customer service, come back to this location as often as I can, I will.

I’ve loved Elevation Burger since it opened in Falls Church and when we moved to Vienna, we were happy when the one finally opened on Branch Ave. I don’t actually get a burger, but grilled cheese; so do my kids. It’s nice to have a place where we will all eat. However, I stopped going when they put in that awful Freestyle Coke machine (I do love to splurge on a soda with fries). All the drinks are horrible out of that thing.
So, we just went back after a long time and I was so disappointed to have my grilled cheese on sandwich bread and not a bun. So glad Social Burger is up the street.

Almost $ 5 for this blt. Burger was greasy and fries were soaked in oil. Milk shakes weren’t any better than one from McDonald’s.

If you want a messy burger, come to this place. I’m a huge fan of a simple burger, so normally I just get cheese and some sort of sauce (hot sauce or bbq). My burger buns always gets soggy from a combo of too much sauce and the grease from the burger.
You should never get this «to-​go» because the package the burgers come in aren’t sealed inside of the bag, so you end up with a cold, soggy burger that is sure to disappoint.

This place is so delicious! As a person who doesn’t eat meat, it’s hard to find a good veggie burger! The veggie #1 is so good!

I’m pretty upset about the take out order I just brought home. I’m not sure what the cook was thinking but he just made our four burgers with some old stale re-​heated patties. How do I know this? We’ve been patrons of this restaurant for over two years and we’ve never gotten this kind of food before. Who wants to pay over $ 5 for a cheese burger and get some dry stiff hockey puck patty? We were totally surprised with what we got when we got home. May be because it was almost the closing time, the cook didn’t feel like making the fresh food, or may be he just wasn’t well trained. Either way the owners have to train the cooks better or replace the cooks entirely if they don’t want to spend the time to make the burgers with the fresh ingredients. A burger at this place costs well over $ 5 and this isn’t the quality we should be getting.

sloppy! burger had so much ketchup on it it was dripping off in blobs as I picked it up. Didn’t even take a bite. When I took it back they proceeded to wipe it off with a rag instead of making a new burger… gross! I had to just walk out hungry.

First time visit about 2 weeks ago on a stay-​cation with the boyfriend in the area. I actually work *right* next door to this place, so this visit was LONG overdue.
Went in around 4pm on a Saturday, very fast service. We both ordered the same thing – bacon cheeseburger with pepper-​jack, jalapenos, onion and mushrooms. Single order of fries to share, 1 drink, 1 milkshake.
Staff was friendly, burgers were very good, fries were hot and crispy. I got a strawberry lemonade from the freestyle machine which was the bomb, boyfriend’s milkshake was sufficiently yummy and thick.
Burgers came out VERY quickly. Tasty, everything as ordered. As I have heard from some people, there was a distinct lack of *gut-​bomb* feeling after eating here vs eating at 5 Guys. That said, I still think I prefer the other. Prices lower, better fries, service just as good.
I will return, and I will try other options, I am particularly interested in trying the chicken sandwich.

Consistently one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the Elevation sauce is mind-​blowing! I wish I could buy a bottle of it.

Ordered one regular burger and one kid’s burger. Received and was charged for two regular burgers, and one was missing the tomato. The beef was overlooked and not juicy. Meh.

The burger was a 5 the fries a 3. The packing togo is sadly a 1. They don’t cover ur burger with foil or anything so be careful I got a pile of grease on my seats smhh

I have come here many times, both with my kids and without them. This was one of our favorite places to go when we wanted food quickly.
I always get the Veggie #2 and I think it’s quite tasty. My kids always got the kids’ burger with cheese and they seemed to like it well enough. Sometimes we’d get fries to share (nice treat) and on rarer occasions than my kids would like, we’d get a chocolate shake with Oreos to share (not bad, but I’m not much of a shake person).
I almost exclusively order the veggie burger for myself, so I’m not sure how its price compares to other menu items, but I think the veggie burger here is the best value for veggie burgers compared to comparable veggie burger purveyors in the area. I think I had a side salad *once*, probably as some kind of concession to fresh vegetables. If you are looking for an exciting, interesting salad, Elevation Burger is NOT the place to do this.

Came to this location since I was in the area. I loved the fiery hot fries and cheesy fries.
I order the elevation burger, wrapped in lettuce, topping it off with regular elevation sauce.
Place is swept clean, condiment station kept clear of clutter, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Staff members were nice and would often check up on us, should we need anything and such, which I liked a lot!!!
Order the burger and fries! I may try out a milkshake next time.

I came here to eat with my mom the other day. I was drawn by the knowing that the beef is organic and grass-​fed.
Overall, I have to say that the Elevation Burger had great taste and excellent service. I was pleased by the welcoming staff and great ambiance of Elevation Burger.
Unlike many other burger joints I’ve tried, the burgers here have less grease and are softer. However my fries were slightly uncooked through and needed seasoning.
I’ve tried other Elevation Burger restaurants and I thought they are slightly better than this one.
Definitely recommend this place, but the Elevation Burger in Fair Oaks is better!

Tried Elevation burger for the first time. I was drawn in by the organic ingredients and hoping that the burger would be tasty. But, I have to say that the burger was tasteless. The bun basically disintegrated. The fries were okay but nothing great.
The shakes for over $ 4 were completely overpriced and so-​so.
Finally, we got a side salad which was a complete rip-​off. It was nothing but a pile of lettuce and one wedge of tomato, no other vegetables such as cucumbers, carrots, onions, nothing, Although it was fresh, it is not worth the price.
I know we will never come back. The food is not worth it for the money you have to shell out.

lettuce wrapped burger option without the carb guilt is available as an option. The burger tasted bland. The cashier taking the order needs to be more personable, she was like a robot.

Solid burger choice — West coast style patties. Huge list of topping choices, although I do wish they had a few pre-​designed burgers to choose from for those of us who are a little bit indecisive!
Love the shoestring fries! I prefer my fries extra crunchy and should have ordered them that way, but they weren’t bad regardless.

I came here to eat with my son the other day. It’s a nice, clean restaurant and the staff were friendly and prompt.
I’m not sure what it is with these new burger joints. They are very hyped but in the end… it’s a burger.
That said these were nice, well cooked burgers. We got the kids and elevation burgers. We shared the fries. They were a big portion, not ridiculously big like 5 Guys, but more than enough for two people. I liked them because they are thin cut and weren’t too greasy.
The special elevation sauce was, well, meh. No real flavor to speak of.
The burgers are organic so they have that going for them, but not much else. That’s probably the only reason I would pick them over other similar burger joints. Still better than Mickey D’s.

The only difference I see in this location from all the others is that this one has more families eating here — not a bad thing, just an observation. After all the times I have eaten at EB, I never noticed that their signature burger came with two patties. Maybe it’s because my husband ordered for me in the past — I don’t know… If you’re not hungry enough for a double hamburger/​cheeseburger, just order the kid’s burger — it’s of regular size. Anywho, I did my civic duty and ate the whole burger, two patties and all!
I am a lover of fries. Although EB tries to serve their healthier version, EB fries are not crunchy and firm. They are still good and I’ll eat them every time, but if you’re looking for fries that have the same consistency as those from McD’s, you won’t find them here. I do love their shakes, but now, since everyone is migrating to the ‘let’s post our total caloric content,’ I had to pass on a shake since they pack a whopping 700+ calories. So depressing…
This is still a really good burger joint. Be sure to put elevation sauce and hot pepper relish on your burger!
