Last night I had what i figured out was a main line sewer block (I am on septic). Spent hours and hours cleaning up the flooding. I called RotoRooter after midnight and scheduled the technician to come in the morning. Chaz arrived even before scheduling (they called to let me know he was coming about 20 – 30 minutes prior to arrival — thank you!!) and he was polite, clean, understanding the situation AND understanding of my own personal incredibly difficult financial time. He explained everything clearly and proceeded to unblock the clog with their commercial size snake — all within about 20 minutes. I am so grateful for his professionalism and also his calm and kind manner. Back to normal now and hopefully no more giant problems! There is also a 90 day warranty, just in case. I will definitely call RotoRooter in the Victorville/​Hesperia area again. Excellent experience and thank you very much!!! A satisfied customer.

Called and spoke to Barbara, she told me the price for an angle stop replacement was $ 277 ($ 52 more than the other company, but they had already no-​showed) and someone would be dispatched promptly.
I asked her «can you please call me when you have an approximate eta to my home. It’s 8:30 at night and i already had one company cancel on me.» She assured me she would.
An hour later after no phone call AT ALL i called to cancel my appointment. I felt moderately bad for her when she said she was new at the job and assumed that the technician would call when they had a time, but i’m the one with the leaky toilet at 9 pm, so my sympathy levels were depleted for the day.
The «office manager» called my cell back 20 minutes later leaving a voicemail asking what they could do to gain my business…
Um, how about having someone call me back within an hour and actually coming out to my house.
Don’t advertise an after hour service if you can’t deliver.

Was disappointed after all of the good reviews. Called in the morning and was told I would receive a callback when they were able to set a time. By 3 PM I still hadn’t heard from them, so I called another plumber.
At 5 PM one of their guys showed up, no call.
I had to leave for an appointment, but my wife was home, and informed the gentleman that since we hadn’t heard back, we secured someone else to do the job. She said he was, in her words, «pissed».
All we needed was better communication!
I would suggest that in the future you would give a ‘courtesy call’ if you are extremely backed up.
Update: received a phone call and apology this AM, which was appreciated. I upgraded them to 3 stars for trying to make things right.

I called 2 other compaies that never called back. Decided to go with roto rooter and i am glad i did. Great prompt service. The technician was polite and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again.

Well, my shower stopped turning on. I called a plumber out of the phone book (not roto rooter) and I had to wait two days. Then they called me the day they had scheduled with me and canceled and said next week. I was angry. So I googled other plumbing services and Roto Rooter came up. I set up an appointment online for the next day because I had to work. I received a courtesy call before Ronnie showed up. I was quoted a price right away and I accepted. Work was done and now my shower literally works better than ever. Water pressure is better, looks nicer, I’m very happy. And Ronnie was a really nice guy. Thanks Roto Rooter!

We were having problems with a toilet where the water kept running. Made appt online which was so easy. The tech arrived timely was friendly he quickly figured out the problem & didn’t even charge us! He said because the problem was so simple he didn’t feel it was right to have us pay. Needless to say we will definitely call them again should the need arise.

We found root rooter after having a terrible experience with a local plumber. This is the second time we have used, their service. Excellent customer service! They call before they are arriving. They give you a time frame when to expect them. So you aren’t stuck home all day, waiting. Office staff is super friendly. Julie is great!

These people came out and installed a septic tank, and in turn broke irrigation pipe on my property. They say that in their contract that THEM breaking or damaging things is not their responsibility and that they will repair and charge you for fixing something that they broke. INSANE. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE
