Hampton Inn & Suites Binghamton/Vestal

I was pleasantly surprised when I first arrived. I have stayed at several Hampton Inn hotels. That is my hotel of choice when they are available but this is definitely one of the nicer Hampton Inn’s that I have stayed in. The overall appearance of the hotel is cozy. It is hidden off the main road so you do not have the road noise in your room. The hotel appears to be recently refurbished with new furniture and televisions and everything appears to be new and fresh. Two desk top computers are available for use in the lobby but there is a time limit on use. There is also a pool and fitness area. You are on a main road so you have plenty of choices for resteraunts and if you forgot something at home down the road is a Walmart and Kohls along with other stores. I would definitely stay here again.

Going to Binghamton I was told not to expect much. But I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was so friendly and accommodating letting us check in hours early. The rooms were clean and sitting area was clean newly renovated and inviting. There was a complimentary rubber ducky which was a cute touch. Before checking out I had the breakfast. made my own waffle, had a bagel, and cereal plus grabbed some fruit as a snack for later. Definitely would stay at this hotel again but would rather not visit Binghamton again…

Stayed for two nights in September 2013. Very clean, rooms in good repair. A plus is that it has both fridge and microwave. Set back from the road, so very quiet. Really comfortable beds. Had minimal interaction with the staff but no problems.
