I have stayed here twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed both stays! They make every attempt to accommodate your needs! Laura at the front desk goes above and beyond to please guests! The large breakfast variety every morning is delectable! It hits the spot! Also, there is a free dinner offered to guests every Wednesday night!

Amazing!!! The staff especially manager Laura and Zack who we made crazy over the phone trying to make the last minute reservation on the busiest weekend in Binghamton was so patient with all my changes and requests. The rooms were clean and the staff was so friendly. I totally enjoyed my stay. Laura was a lifesaver. We had a reservation fall thru and she allowed us to have a celebration for my sons graduation last minute in the dining room. It was far better than going to a crowed restaurant to be rushed out so that they can turn over the table. I will definitely be staying at more Holiday Inn Express in my future travel plans!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night when we visited my alma mater. It’s conveniently located near the campus on vestal parkway. I must say that if you’ve seen one holiday inn express you’ve seen them all. This one is clean and quiet and nearby plenty of restaurants. Our one disappointment was that they were not able to honor our Unilocal check in offer of 10% off for first time visitors. Poor form! Don’t make offers you can’t keep. The girl at the front desk was powerless to provide any alternate offer. So don’t expect any pleasant surprises here. Go in with low expectations and you’ll be fine.

Very clean and nice hotel at which to stop on a road trip. Breakfast room was great and the selection was far superior to other chain hotels.

I stayed at this hotel once back in 2008 and it was actually a great hotel! with a pretty friendly staff to start! however I was there for one night while traveling through town on business… three weeks after my stay I was notified by my company that a 250.00 additional charge was placed on my card for a «cleaning charge» by this hotel?! upon investigating found they charged me for smoke in the room! what the hell! I was and am a non smoker! so i called management to no avail and even spoke with the owner once, or twice. all of which landed me no where! they stated if the maid says she smells it than its there and they need to shut the room down for two days? um Bull, again no body smoked in room! anyway when i contacted Holiday inn corporate about the issue, i was compensated a room at another hotel, but could not do anything about the situation because this particular hotel is an independent franchise owned by a local guy who owns some other things in town!(I know Ground Round is one). regardless after a few battles on the phone with this hotel, I made no headway with the situation… But was able to deter my company from ever booking with any holiday inns since that day! again nice hotel, but beware you are at their discretion, if they decide to make some extra cash of you! as you see I traveled here in 2008! its April of 2013, and this still frustrates me!

I was very satisfied, excellent breakfast with omelets, pancakes and waffles. Soft towels, great soap and everything was clean plus great service.

My son was accepted to Binghamton(yay!), and we stayed here again for his July orientation. It is a great place for the price. The pool is not fancy, but hey, it’s a pool! And the breakfast is fine. My only complaint is that daughter burned herself trying to get a cinnamon roll(which was my fault for not better supervising her, but yikes, they could put a warning on the case. She literally touched it for half a second and got a blister burn. Again, I blame myself, but there should be a warning posted). I have to say that after learning at orientation about the family visit day in October, I was highly disappointed when I came back home and tried to reserve a room here, and was notified that the hotel was full up. Perhaps other parents were more clever about that than I was. I wish there were a way that repeat visitors could get priority. Maybe I can reserve for graduation in May 2015 now? :/I’m giving three stars, not for the burn in the heater case, but because the guy at the desk offered me a Holiday Inn frequent visitor card but didn’t mention that I should reserve for October right then. I would have been very, very happy to do so.

I can always take comfort in knowing exactly the quality I expect at Holiday Inn, and this one did not disappoint. The young, blond male concierge was friendly and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure that my stay was comfortable. The fitness center was exactly what one needs for a good workout on the go. The pool was a lot colder than I would have expected, shortening the amount of laps I was able to push myself to do, which was slightly disappointing. However, it is in a great location for good restaurants in the area and was very convenient to SUNY Binghamton, so I would definitely recommend this Holiday Inn.
