Just came back from dinner buffet here. Service was good that’s why I’m giving two stars instead of one. Food was no good. Saw flies around the dessert area… Actually saw a fly sitting on one of the cheesecake pieces… The buffet tried with an assortment of offerings from Italian to sushi but most things tasted mediocre to really bad. Best thing was prob. the mussels but who goes to a buffet for just mussels? Maybe I’m expecting too much from a casino buffet but compared to other casino buffets I’ve been to this one was the worst.

This buffet is ridiculous… so many options you could easily go into a food coma if you’re not careful! I like going here for breakfast, for only $ 9.95 you can partake in all the normal suspects… french toast, pancakes, eggs Benedict, hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, corn-beef hash, home fries, oatmeal, grits and a made to order omelet station. ***But here is your tip… go at 10:30, that way you can grab some breakfast items before they switch over to the lunch buffet at 11 and raise the price to $ 13.95!*** Lunch is crazy, with sliders, pizza, full salad bar, meat craving station(chicken, roast beef, ham) mashed potatoes, Philly Cheese Steaks, lots of veggies, Asian station, sushi bar, Chinese bar, some seafood choices,. Then if you can save some room, the desserts… a do it yourself soft serve ice cream bar with all the toppings, lots of mini pies, cakes, mousse, pudding, tarts etc. Dinner starts at 3:30 and jumps to $ 16.95… I have not tried this yet. You can use your reward points to pay for meals.

Best buffet in upstate NY. My family and I went on a Monday and we had the prime rib and on Tuesdays it’s T-Bone steaks. The buffet had Asian, Italian, American, and Mexican varieties of foods. I like how they make their pizza in a brick oven. They have a good selection of desserts as well. The strawberry cheesecake is pretty good. I also had their clam chowder and it’s good as well. Everything I tried tasted great and worth the drive and money. We’re planning to go next week for their T-bone steak. Make sure you look on their websites in case they change the menu. The area is clean and our waitress was nice. We made sure we left her a good tip.

So we discovered this little gem of a casino in the literal middle of nowhere and couldn’t be happier because when it’s pouring rain around here it cancels out the only attraction– which is going outside. Being from CT and seeing all that Mohegan and Foxwoods have to offer I always lower my standards a bit for any other casinos I visit. Turning Stone was honestly much nicer than I expected– very clean, didn’t smell like smoke, and a ton of options for food. When given the option my daughter will inevitably choose a buffet, so that’s what we did. It was Tuesday which is T-Bone steak night so the cost is about $ 2 more than normal so not too bad. There were so many options and stations, soup, bread, pasta bar, pizza, meat carving(with t-bones being grilled right there), Asian/hibachi, and desserts– so, so many teenie tiny adorable desserts! My daughter wanted to do steak and chicken hibachi so it was fun to watch the cook it on this big round grill with 2 long sticks. She had it with brown sauce and it was delicious– def something I would recommend. I had a little of everything, Italian wedding soup, T-Bone(naturally), mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, garlic bread with cheese, salt and pepper shrimp, California rolls(that was the only thing that was kinda«meh»). I’m sure I’m forgetting stuff that I ate but there was also a lot of seafood-mussels in garlic sauce, a bunch of different types of fish, and crawfish– None of which I tried. On to dessert! They were so adorable I wanted to try them all. And I intended to do just that. And I failed. There was apple pie, soft serve ice cream machines, and little portioned desserts like strawberry rhubarb panacotta, strawberry cheesecake, lemon blueberry parfait, and dark chocolate mini cupcakes. There was so much more than that, there must have been 30 dessert choices alone. I’m not much of a gambler so not sure how the gaming is there but as for shops it was somewhat lacking, but again I’ve been spoiled by CT casinos. There was a club that looked really nice from the outside but it was closed. There was a small kids arcade so we hung out there and played some games– my daughter is partial to claw machines so there were a few for her to try out. Overall I would highly recommend Turning Stone Casino and the buffet to anyone stuck out in this general vicinity. We’ll be going back tonight to try out another restaurant.

I came to this buffet for a gathering for approximately 20 people. The casino resort has several options for dining and the buffet is one of them. The lunch buffet on Saturday for an adult is just under $ 16, and after 330pm, dinner pricing is effective for just under $ 24 per person. Our group was immediately brought to our table, which actually consisted of several tables placed close in proximity to one another on the indoor«patio» where smoking is allowed. Since I wasn’t the one to organize this event I’m not sure if the person requested to be seated at this area or not. Whatever the case, it actually ended up better since the«official» dining area was more cramped together and had booth — table seats instead of just tables. We had ample space to move around comfortably on the«patio» overlooking the pedestrians crossing from the interconnected lodge and casino floor. We were able to place orders for our drinks right away and were told we could head over to the buffet area at anytime to begin the feast. Non alcoholic drinks are included in the buffet price and are unlimited refills as well. The buffet area is situated in a rectangular shaped room with what seemed to be the following sections: BBQ, Italian, Seafood, Soups/Chowders, Asian, American, Carving stations, Salads and Fruits, and lastly desserts. There were many choices and I was surprised by the amount of food that was available for lunch. I recall seeing/having: Kobe beef sliders, pulled pork sliders, french fries, onion rings, burgers, hot dogs, kielbasa, German sausages, pasta primavera, grilled salmon, pan fried haddock, tilapia, mussels, popcorn shrimp, 3 – 4 kinds of pizza, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, spring rolls, sushi, brussel sprouts, utica greens, prime rib, hand carved turkey, rotisserie chicken, salad bar, fruit bar, clam chowder, Italian wedding soup, asparagus cream soup, sauerkraut, bacon, home fries, omelet station, and more?! I really wanted to have a little bit of everything and ended up with quite a variety of foods on my plate(s). But of course I had to save room for dessert! The dessert bar appeared to be 10+feet long. Selections included carrot cake cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes, strawberry panna cotta, vanilla and chocolate ice cream with toppings bar, blueberry cobblers, mini oreos cheesecakes, sugar cookies, peanut butter mousse, sugar free jello, sugar free cheesecakes, and a fondue station. Since it was the 4th of July, they had three chocolate fountains: red, white, + blue! Wooden skewers were available for us to fondue with marshmallows, cream puffs, strawberries, lady fingers, and graham crackers. Crazy(in a good way) is one word I’d use to explain this buffet experience. So for variety this buffet has got it! For quality I’d say it is mediocre at best. If that’s how much food lunch offers I’m curious what dinner has. I’m pretty sure that would include lunch like items and additions of meat, seafood(crab legs?), and fancier dishes. Overall we had a good time but service was a little spotty as our dirty plates were taken by the server quickly but refills on drinks were slower. I’d want to come back some time if I was at the casino for whatever reason and the buffet items may rotate on some sort of basis. I’d also personally prefer to be seated in a non smoking area. The price is decent for the food you get compared to some casino-resorts and much better than the Tropicana in Atlantic City!

I’d rather eat my own ass hair than eat here again. 20 dollars for the shittiest buffet in the northern hemisphere. Only reason I got my money’s worth is because I kept getting plates full of their diarrhea food and not touching any of it. Unless you are an aggressively old person who can’t taste food anymore, put your $ 20 in the slot machine instead. Even if you lose it all it will still be a better experience.

Very surprised in the buffet after this last visit, the food and quality has definitely declined at a rapid pace, I have been coming for years and not sure if I will be back after this time.

March 2015 things have changed and not for the better. About half the selections that were here just a month ago four soups rather than right no pie on the dessert selection, actually not many dessert choices at all. Thank goodness they still have the omelette and carving stations. Not sure if this is something they are trying for a change our this is the future of the buffet.

Pleasantly surprised by this buffet. Nice selection of foods and everything tasted really good. I normally don’t care for buffets as the food usually looks better than it tastes and I can’t really get through any of the foods. but this place was different. Everything was great and I was left wishing I had room for more. My favorite section would be the Asian. I really liked the pork fried rice and the Orange chicken. There is also a pasta sauté station where they customize pasta dishes for you. Nice variety of pizza. There is also a nice dessert selection. For those who like veggies. Try the Utica greens they are a local favorite. Also the roasted brussel sprouts were awesome I would have liked a better selection of sushi. And the mexican section did not have a great selection.

Wowwwza! What a buffet! Larggggge selection of cuisine genres! I normally detest buffets, however, the family wanted to go so I surrendered and what happily surprised! The food was of decent quality and there was a huge selection of healthy and sugar free options! I had a plethora of selections from the Asian cuisine section. Everything was fantastic! The hibachi wasn’t quite what you’d get at a high end hibachi restaurant, but good none the less. They had my favoooorite pineapple sweet and sour chicken! I also had a few portions of the fried rice, chow mein, shrimp & green beans, gyoza and made a little bowl of hibachi items for the chef to cool up! I was very satisfied with my meal. Overly stuffed, but satisfied. I also LOVED that the waitress came by with champagne, so I asked for a little orange juice & made a mimosa! The family group of six others all got a large selection of breakfast items which included bacon, hash, waffles, eggs, sausage and some carved meats including prime rib. Other than a few minor critiques of runny scrambled eggs and gritty sausage, they were all very happy with their meals. The deserts were all pretty awesome! The crêpe station & fondu fountain was a big hit! Will definitely plan to return next time we’re in NY!

If you are just looking for quantity then you will love this place, however if you want quality fresh flavorful food this is not the place you are looking for. Every dish either had way too much salt or no flavor at all which is disappointing because the presentation was actually really nice. For the price you pay to eat here they need to do better. I spoke with people who used to eat here years ago and they tell me that it was wayyy better than it is now. Wonder what happened?

Came in on a Friday(7÷11÷2014). I’ve been to several buffets in vegas and beyond, some rated 4 stars and above in local reviews and I have to say this is definitely better than what the reviewers led me to believe and after casino points it’s very affordable hence a fiver :) First there is much, much more than what I thought there’d be. There is an Italian Station, a hoffman’s hot dog station, a Chinese/mongolian station, Japanese, and a sandwich station. I believe i left one out but again there were a lot of choices. The soup and dessert station was good as the pies and deserts looked yummy. The salad station was not the freshest but we did appreciate the tomatoes. But what I want to rave about is the prime rib/brisket.(uploaded a photo with the soup) The au jus and the meat was absolutely on the mark as you may or may not see in the picture and beat the pants out of recent trips to vegas buffets(minus THEMOST expensive buffets). If this is what was served everyday I am floored by why people thought this was worth only two or even one star. The refills were decently fast and I think it was all in all a great experience as we left happy and stuffed. Will be back here again and if the service and food is good again I’ll update with another fiver :)

I guess you can see that it has really gone downhill. I think it is due to no competition in the area. We have been to Atlantic City and the best buffet will change from month to month due to the competition. I really hope my Wife doesn’t want to go back, but judging by her review, we won’t.

Hubby and I used to go there every Sunday for dinner. However due to health reasons and life just getting in the way it had been about a year since we last visited. We went tonight. The line used to be out the door but not tonight and I know why. The food has gone downhill. If it wasn’t cold it was tasteless. The only thing I found worth eating were the baked beans that were meant as a condiment on the hot dogs. The veggie lasagne was okay. Everything else was disgusting. Don’t waste your money. I was so disappointed I wanted to cry. This was probably the worst meal I have had in ten years. And we do the casino buffets all over the country ALOT.

Mediocre at best Seasons Harvest is in the Turning Stone resort, which is miles from everywhere. Very few restaurants nearby. The value, quality and taste of the food are just fair. Service is pretty good. The salad bar and make your own ice cream concoction, are the best parts of the buffet.

This place blows. Went on crab leg night, and the crab legs were alright, but the meal was definitely not worth 30 bucks or whatever it cost. Went back for breakfast and shit still sucked.

This is probably the best casino buffet that I’ve been to outside of Las Vegas. We went for the lunch buffet. The service was very quick. And usually at buffets, the food is hit or miss. Some things you like and others you don’t. This is one of the few times where I actually liked everything that I had. If I was in the area, I would definitely visit again.

Like other people who patronize casino buffets, I was enticed by the«regional» varieties and of course the all-you-can-eat prime rib. I ended up being sorely disappointed by both, and experienced subpar service to boot. The worst thing you can do to beef is overcook it — the next worst thing is to undercook it. The prime rib was victim to the former — it was horribly overcooked to the point of being rough and barely edible. The servers also only cut you tiny slices, so I had to keep asking for more(not that I ended up eating it). As for the other dishes, they were very tepid and uninspiring. Only get the chicken based dishes if you like your chicken super dry and tasteless. Only get the vegetables if you have an adoring love of all things drenched in butter. Only get the other meats if you like rough, overbaked cuts. Only get the Asian food if you think Panda Express epitomizes Chinese cuisine. Only get the hot dogs because this is the default after nothing else was good. And service is horribly slow. I had a used, dirty dish sitting on my table for 10 minutes, and my drinks were never filled until I managed to finally flag down the perpetually absent server. Seriously, for $ 20, skip this buffet and save some aggravation. The only good things about the buffet are the sparse seating, and that dessert included canned peaches and sugar-free pie.
