This is the third time I’ve eaten here, and have determined it’s really the best option for sushi and Japanese in Vero proper, if you don’t want to drive up to Sebastian(for the very best in the area). I usually order sashimi, and here they slice it very thin. I like the slices a bit thicker, but none the less, the fish is fresh, the service is attentive the there’s one waitress who’s particularly nice and remembered me from a year ago, and exactly what I ordered! It’s lively and in a nice area. Definitely worth trying — it’s on my list and I’ll be back. Ok– my fourth visit last night… not bad but not great either. Sushi not as fresh, pieces smaller.

I can’t deny every time I go to a Thai I must have Chicken Panang. At Sake it is as good as most others, only less veggies than most. Though the center of the dish was piled high with extremely tender chicken. I ate all I could then had enough left over for lunch. My mom ordered Tempura chicken. She did not realize it was roll style. So when it came out she was a little surprised and not sure how to eat the roll pieces. I had to educate her on how to bite each piece in half. Personally I think Tempura chick is best in it’s natural state/Not wrapped up in a roll. Nothing against Sake’s presentation. I watched as they brought some of the most delicious trays of beautifully prepared sushi. So on my next visit I’ll give my favorite dish a miss and be more adventuresome. Super clean dining atmosphere, and excellent wait staff!

Lights were cut off at 3PM while I was still sitting in the booth less than 13 minutes after meal was served. Guy making food hocked and spit into a napkin! Disgusting! I have never had a place cut off the lights while I am eating or even at the end of the night! I was almost finished as they usually make you feel rushed by standing near. This was 3rd time I ate there in past week. Friday night, my friends and I met there at 5 pm and it was not busy. Yet, the server tried to take our plates several times and stood very near while giving us frozen tight smiles. We felt uncomfortable so we left even though we wanted to chat. Today, I felt rushed again and was thinking Strike 3 Then, the guy behind the counter hocked and spit into a napkin. Disgusting! Less than a minute after the loud spit noises, the lights were cut off It was 3 pm I got up and said I would leave but needed to use the restroom. A man in a very unapologetic tone said«We are taking a break!» I left but was upset so I called back I asked for a Manager The woman said no Manager was there It turns out, the person was the server that I served me all 3 times She remembered me and what I ordered She laughed and then said ok, lights were cut off. I said not funny but RUDE I asked for a Manager to call me back. No one called me back. She put me on hold and came back and said«The lights are automatic» Odd that the first time I went into the restaurant was 3:30 pm on weekday and all the lights were ON and I was asked if I wanted to order When I got into my car, it was 3:04 pm I felt sick to my stomach and disgusted by the spitting and being treated that way. It was disrespectful It was so RUDE to cut off the lights while ANY customers were inside and or eating! It would be rude at the end of the Night but in the middle of the day was even more surprising She had asked 2 others and me if we wanted anything else a few minutes before that but I had just started eating and said probably more water but nothing else beside the Salmon Bento Box The food was very good so this is a shame and sad. The Service and atmosphere need improvement especially in reference to being more attentive and considerate of Customers but not rushing customers I regret telling so many people and taking friends there as well I believe going out should be fun and that the place should show appreciation for the Customers paying $$

Went here for a while because it’s convenient and close to work. The sushi is pretty good, I love the Mexican roll best. I prefer Saigon sushi though. Always good service here, can’t complain.

We’ve lived in the Vero area for 20+ years and this is our favorite go to for sushi and Thai food. Never disappointed always excellent service and the freshest food anywhere. Our favorites: Peking style duck — to die for, and I’m not fond of duck; the Nancy roll large portioned roll with tempura shrimp and salmon roe; and my wife’s favorite Pad Thai(green curry)…

My wife loved this place so much on our vacation we decided to go back again.(I really wanted to go back too :-) This time we went for lunch and WOW do you get a lot of food for your money. We both got the Pad Seiw again, which was amazing, and I got the sushi bento box 1. We ordered a little more than normal because we won’t be back for sometime since we live in Indiana, but everything was worth every penny. Top notch food and top notch staff… please give this place a chance you won’t be sorry.

I just had one of the best lunches ever in Vero. Sake’s lunch specials are amazingly priced, and the food is so much better than other sushi restaurants in the area. Cute little booths, it’s a small place but the servers are all very sweet. I have never had anything bad there.

Excellent sushi, excellent cooked food as well! Ginger salad dressing fantastic, and they sell it by the pint. Miso soup is s typical, boring. Chirashi sushi has more than enough for starving patron. Sushi Deluxe can feed a hungry teen athlete.(He’s a runner.) Fried rice and sweet and sour dish full of fresh vegetables. Sweet and sour too sweet for me, but bro in law loved it. Loud. Hard to understand staff. I will definitely be back.

Good place to eat! Sushi is wonderful! My meal was the Chicken Green Curry. For me, it was very filling. You can ask for it to be mild or spicy(I prefer mild). Wifi is AVAILABLE if you ask for the password. Waiters are nice and give you plenty to drink if you ask or not. Overall, good food.

Probably the best sushi we have had in Florida. We got the boat, we went for the medium one and were stuffed. Other places usually boats but they leave you wanting more. We enjoyed our sushi and the chefs really take their art seriously. Like many restaurants in the area it gets busy later in the evening. We went at 6 and there was only one other small group inside. By the time we were leaving at almost 8 there was a line out the door. Overall, great food at a good price.

So this is the restaurant first on the list for vero beach filtered for best reviewed so I had high expectations. Thursday night so we had no problems being seated. Very cute inviting atmosphere and clean. We started with the special dream roll which was fresh and delicious. I had this seaweed salad which was also very fresh and good. My mom had edamame and my dad has miso soup that were both good. Then I made a mistake and ordered the special lobster roll. Not good. No flavor, couldn’t taste the lobster because of the pile of crunchies and the fake crab on top. I should’ve gone with a local roll or a classic rainbow since the fish was fresh. My mom ordered the shrimp tempura(eye roll) and I suggested that my dad order the pad thai since the guy making the sushi was from Thailand. It was very good but not the best I’ve had. Service was very good and there was a lot of people getting take out. Point is, order the fresh sushi but I don’t quite get the high reviews.

We enjoyed our meal here. The staff was very efficient and did a great job. The red curry was good, as were some sushi rolls we tried. The prices are a bit higher than we are used to, and I think the place has been slightly over rated by other reviewers. My rating is 3 stars.

Cute little place with nice décor, a friendly atmosphere, and great food. You can come here dressed up and have a nice dinner date, or fresh from the beach for lunch. I recommend the pad Thai, which was so yummy I could have kept eating it until my stomach burst, the cuke eel roll, which is light and refreshing yet satisfying, and the sushi pizza roll if you’re in the mood for something different.

Really good sushi. Tuna tataki appetizer is a big portion, thick slices, and comes with a great dipping sauce. Must try the cuke rolls(we had eel), the sauce it comes with is so light but full of flavor. The pizza sushi is loaded with fish and spicy mayo, a must try also. We normally don’t like tempura rolls because by the time it comes out it’s all soggy but the vero roll was so crispy and delicious. The beauty and the beast roll is a bit plain and we could have done without it. Decent prices, decent service.
