Capri Cucina

Man, I was sooooo surprised with this place! I needed something to eat and I didnt want to drive miles and miles to go get sushi, and I am a bit tired of mexican food, so I had Unilocal find me a something a little different, which lead me straight to Capri Cucina. I was VERY skeptical cause I usually do not go to any restaurant below 4 – 4.5 stars, which for some reason they had 3.5 stars. I said lets try it anyway! I am so happy I did!!! This place has nice staff, and great food! When you walk in its a bit awkward cause the menu is pictures all along the wall, lol. We literally walked the entire restaurant looking at what they offer to see we wanted. I got the chicken caccaitore and a san pellegrino, which totally hit the spot! The chicken caccaitore was awesome! It had a perfect mix of chicken and pasta (and veggies… but, seriously, who eats veggies!!! LOL!!). Again, I was totally blown away by how good the food was. This place would actually be really classy if they changed the tables to a little fancier look, but that doesnt really matter. I will totally come back when I’m in the mood for Armenian (Mediterranean) or Italian food!
If you’re in the Vernon area, you know choices are limited, lol. Swing by this spot, its seriously worth it!

Is there a way for Unilocal to gives us the ability to rate NO STARS? CAUTION! DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT. My co-​workers and I ordered from here and it was a disaster from the beginning, I should of known not to touch this stuff. 2 credit cards were given and the rest of the orders were to be paid for by cash, by the time the delivery guy got here they had charged everyone’s order to one credit card. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and asked for mashed potatoes instead of pasta, of course the instructions weren’t followed and I was given their crappy pasta. The cherry on top of this whole shit sunday was the violent nausea caused by the bad chicken I ate. After puking everything out, I broke out in hives and the blood vessels on my face had all popped. I called the restaurant to let them know that their chicken was bad. The guy that picked up the phone was upset that I had told him what had happened and he was defensive from the start. He didn’t believe that I got sick and said «in 35 years of me cooking this has never happened» once I told him I didn’t want a refund or a free meal I just wanted him to check the chicken supply in stock so no one else gets sick he seemed appeased and proceeded to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. word of advise, save yourself the $ 15 bucks you’ll spend at this dump and avoid the violent food poisoning.

This place is so weird. No structure to it what so ever. Menu is weird. No prices whatsoever. Place is kinda whack. But the food comes out just in time and tastes great so I’ll deal with it. I got the calzone. So many topping to put in it so I had no idea what to put. Just got pepperoni and mushroom. Straight up menu doesn’t even have a standard calzone. This place makes no sense.

This place will never see growth. horrible. our company tried using them for lunch catering for a month. worst service EVER.
1. forgot to deliver our order (bc he is «too busy»)
2. forgot plates and utensils (i had to go out to purchase bc he is «too busy»)
3. found a glob of hair in our food (denies it was his fault)
4. very overpriced salty food
5. ordered 10 servings, only sent 8 calzones (bc he is «too busy»)
6. constantly called throughout the month requesting money??? (we agreed on ½ payment at the beginning of the month and remainder balance at the end of the month)
7. horrible attitude. non apologetic. unprofessional.

This place sucks! We ordered two lasagnas and one beef kabob, the lasagnas were super salty, my friend didn’t get her drink (which we pay for) and my $ 13 kabob (on the menu it says is 9.95) cane with 6 tiny pieces of beef, a lot of rice, some salad and half of a regular flat pita bread. Way overcharged and really disappointed. Don’t order from here, you will ruin your lunch especially if you are waiting one hour and a half and don’t get what you are paying for.

Over price, the food wasn’t horrible but let’s just say that I will never come here again. I have tried this type of food for half the price ! The restroom was very dirty they have to do better in their cleaning

I work in vernon and my coworker and I were in that plaza the other day and noticed this restaurant. We took a menu and decided to order delivery today. Let me preface this review with the fact that I am not even remotely picky. I’m writing this review as I am forcing myself to eat this pizza. Literally the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve had better frozen pizzas before. It arrived cold; it looks like it has been sitting there all day. The crust was almost inedible. Before ordering I read decent reviews none of which mentioned pizza and now I see why. Based on the reviews it seems like the pasta is decent. If you want to order from here DO NOT ORDER THE PIZZA. You’re better off ordering from Pizza Hut.

Pretty good considering it being in Vernon. Sauce is not too heavy~ Can’t believe I finished the whole plate! Will come back for more~

Went there today for lunch. The guy who took our order was fantastic. Told him it was my first time there, and he walked me through the menu. Very pleasant first experience there. The food was great too. Very well seasoned. Yum

The Kabob plate here is awesome. definately recommend this place to anyone in the area. Plus they also have great pastas.

I can’t tell if splitting the menu between Italian and Mediterranean confuses people, but this place actually has some strong dishes. The kabobs are fine, but for me, the pasta is where they shine. The PPP (Penne, pollo? in a pink sauce) is awesome. For a warehouse/​industriel area, this definitely gets 4 stars

I’ve tried the Loleh kabob (kobideh) and i can say it was the worst Kobideh i have ever had. It was ridiculously spicy (i don’t know who on earth mix Koodbideh with Chili) and doesn’t taste like kobideh at all. The portion was decent but still i can’t feel my tongue thou.

I don’t really understand all these awesome reviews maybe I just got something that they do not make well. I got the spinach fettuccine alfredo with chicken and broccoli and garlic bread. The chicken was rubbery and overcooked I gave it to my dog. the spinach fettuccine was clearly from a box and just not very good. The alfredo was way too salty and kind of gray. And there were 3 florets of broccoli. The garlic bread looked like Pillsbury dough braided. Again, it’s possible that I just got something that’s not very good from there but I was definitely disappointed.

The food here is superb with fast and friendly delivery. The beef kabob is out of this world good!!!

I have been coming here for almost two years now since starting work in Vernon. It is by far my favorite restaurant because the service is always quick, there is a huge variety of delicious Italian/​Mediterranean options, and most importantly the ingredients are ALWAYS fresh.
I come here at least once a week and usually order their Salmon for lunch. The owner ensures that fresh salmon is purchased every morning and it shows in the quality. I usually stay away from ordering fish from most restaurants but Capri is my one exception. Additionally, they use as little grease as possible when cooking so you get a wholesome, healthy meal.
I have also tried their kabobs (amazing) and most of their pastas. Seafood Linguine is my favorite on the menu.
I highly recommend CC for anyone who is looking for a delicious, healthy, and fair priced place to stop by for lunch. You will not be disappointed. :)

Among the few decent places to have lunch in Vernon. The food is good, I just don’t see the value in it, unfortunately. I find them ratehr overpriced considering the portions of meat served.
Otherwise, great food, they have Persian favorites just as the yogurt drink, kabob, and sometimes gorbeh sabzi.

This place is hit and miss. Maybe its because its italian and middle eastern food… I dont know.
My office has ordered from here twice. The first time I had the Caprese Salad and it was amazing! Just enough motzerella, tomatoes and basil. You could taste it all in every bite. There was enough lettuce in there to fill you up also.
The other time I ordered I had the pesto chicken calzone and it was horrible. Waaaaaay too many bell peppers, hardly any onions, and you cant taste the pesto at all! I see it in there, looking not so bright and vibrant as I would expect fresh pesto to taste. The marinara on the side was a bit oily and watery. I would never order a calzone from here again.
