Buying meat at a supermarket is insane. A good adult has found a local butcher. Bogner is my local butcher. They have the butcher starter of a 10 pound bag of chicken at $ 20 a bag. And they have much more. It pays to book ahead and get a meat pack. They include a lot of different meats at a great price. Bogner has a wide selection of meats. I try and buy on sale and challenge myself to cook an inexpensive or sale meat. It’s also the go to place to find crown roasts and standing rib roasts. The service is fantastic and the prices are great. Be an adult and make this your local butcher.

For years I’ve found the beef short ribs to be the only worthwhile purchase. Most everything else was shoe leather even after marinating. Now that they doubled the price of short ribs at $ 11.99 a lb; which is unheard of, I no longer can afford to hand them my hard earned money. Disappointed.

The prices are fair, the meat itself is excellent quality. The staff is great, helpful and nice… but(ah there’s always a but) my only little tiny suggestion is to help the people load the meat in the cart. I’ve been there a couple times with my crazy toddler and it would of been nice for a little help. That’s it though! Everything else is great get the hotdogs, once you have had them no other one tastes as good. Same with everything there meat wise! I will never buy big y meat ever again, overpriced and pales in comparison for the quality. Oh and one more thing the parking lot is a bit hilly be careful not to bottom out.

I’ve just returned from a trip to this Bogner’s location, and I think it’s safe to say it will be my last for awhile. I moved to Vernon a couple of months ago and have stopped by here several times since. The employees are consistently rude. I have found this to be true even when they are not busy, as an older review mentions. The younger employees in particular are clearly not trained in basic customer service manners. I have worked jobs like these and I know that minimum wage service jobs are a lot of work with little pay or respect. I always take care to be pleasant towards workers at places like these and do not expect them to bend over backwards in attempts to ingratiate me. However, I DO expect the most basic level of pleasant service that you will receive almost anywhere else. The girl who checked me out today offered absolutely zero greeting or goodbye, even after I had greeted her. She stated my price in an annoyed tone once she rang up my two items and that was it. The young man behind the deli counter appeared similarly annoyed to have to take the order and slice up my two simple items. I have frequented this deli about once a week since moving as I prefer to support smaller, more local businesses and this deli is very close to my new home. I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt and imagined employees may have been having off days, but after today I’m pretty tired of being treated so rudely. I have given it multiple chances and have consistently left the place feeling as though my business is somehow a nuisance for the employees here. I give the place two stars because the food is fine, but it’s certainly not good enough to put up with the poor customer service. I have no intention of going back anytime soon, I’ll find another local deli to support with my business.

Ah, Bogner’s. How I love your frenetic little pace. How I love your fresh meats and cheeses, the fresh, frozen french fries that fry up perfectly and the chicken wings that make such a wonderful appetizer. This place is fantastic. Choicest cuts of meats. All ready for you to select, bring home and grill. They also stock Little Mark’s sauces. Little Mark’s Big BBQ is a popular little joint on Route 83. They have a wonderful selection of deli meats, too. I have to politely disagree with the reviewer who stated the guys behind the counter are, at times, rude. I’ve never seen it. This is my spot for good meat to throw on the grill during the summer months. A good bacon/cheddar cheese burger sounds good about now, too. mmmmmm…

Kielbasa, hot dogs and fresh cut meat by the butchers on site. It’s almost like a little grocery store — they had produce, spices, marinades — a pretty big selection. They also carry kelly dogs! Great stop for local meats BTW the one in Manchester is closed, they moved to this location. I initially added my review there and couldn’t find my pics then realized there were 2 spots on Unilocal

For a tiny butcher shop in the middle of nowhere, they had a good selection of quality meats and deli items, all decently priced. I even managed to score some ground bison and lobster ravioli! But I have to recommend their fresh roaster chickens. Those are some of the juiciest chickens I’ve ever tasted. The staff and other regular customers were all very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back.
