I am generally fairly satisfied with the women’s selections here but the men’s is always very picked over. I can never find the size I need (Men’s medium) or often even the shirt or pant that is prominently displayed on a model.
The other day I found a sweater that I liked online and used their «Find it in Store» tool. Sure enough it was there in the store just as promised!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Went to the Vernon hills store to buy some clothes for my kids. The day after buying over 300.00 in clothes I received a coupon via email for 20% off. I called the store and asked if they would honor the 20% off from the purchase the day before. The sales person told me they WOULD honor the purchase for up to 14 days. I asked if I had to bring the clothes from the purchase in order for them to process the 20% discount. She said no. When we got to the store we were faced with all sorts of resistance from the manager. She said we could return the clothes but she wouldn’t «resell“them to us because we got the coupon the day after the purchase. I’ve never heard of a retailer refusing to take a return and resell a product to me. Apparently «Old Navy» has an agenda which is NOT consumer friendly!

This morning during my work break I ran quickly to Old Navy to get my wife a shirt and some shorts for me. Well, to begin with, none of their staff said anything to me even though I made eye contact with them twice! The first girl I saw had a flat face literally, saw me twice and never greeted me even though I smiled at her and I said «morning». Then I couldn’t find my wife’s shirt nor my shorts and no one came to help me even though I was walking from one side to the other. Then that flat faced girl passed by again and actually greeted a caucasian and assisted him knowing I was standing next to him. I literally felt discriminated! This other lady working there saw me too and never greeted me. I left without buying anything, sad to say I talked to my supervisor about the visit to this Old Navy and she told me she’s felt discriminated there as well. Sad.

We went looking for a down vest, and of course Old Navy had one… But only one.
It might just be the season, but their selection of outerwear was really, really lacking. Only giant sizes and no color choices, unfortunately.
Competitive prices and a dependable place for staples! Just maybe a little less dependable at Christmastime…

every once in a while i find great deals in old navy & this day was 1 of them cuz they had flip flops on sale for $ 1! woooo hoooo! i only needed 1 pair but they had other clothes on sale 2. i ended up buyin 2pairs of shorts as well. the place was kinda messy but not so much that i couldnt get around. i didnt have to wait long to checkout either so that was appreciated.

Old Navy is really great for basics since the prices are good and the quality is good as well. If you have an Old Navy, Banana Republic or Gap card, you can get even better savings. The store is pretty clean and the staff is pretty nice. Also, the clearance sections are pretty big so you can find some great deals there.

The store is always clean and the people working are friendly.
