Firehouse Subs

My husband and I stopped in tonight to grab a quick dinner. This was the third time we’ve been there. Food was really good (as always) and the staff is super friendly. Their subs are so much better than Subway and Jimmy Johns. Their prices do seem to be a little higher, but it’s worth it for the amount of meat and veggies you get on your sub. I also love that they are toasted. And I even got a pickle bucket for $ 2.00! We will definitely be back again.

Went for the first time and will be back to try more sandwiches. Everything fresh and made to order. Staff was great. Like this way better than potbelly. We enjoyed our sandwiches. Place is clean and friendly.

Oh my gosh! Firehouse subs, where have you been all this time? Buh bye cheapO subway, hello new go-​to sub place! We still like Jimmy John’s — now for COLD subs, but Firehouse Subs you are now our go to warm sub destination.
My turkey bacon ranch, my wife’s turkey with cranberry, our kid’s meatball subs were outstanding, fresh, and plentiful!
Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the 108 flavor Coke machine is a definite plus!

This is the worst Firehouse experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been to many Firehouse locations throughout the country and never been so disappointed. Stale bread, cold meat. Absolutely nasty. I even saved $ 2 on this order and I am complaining. I would go to the Jimmy John’s next door if I were you. The staff tonight should be ashamed. Very disappointed.

OMG. The brisket sub is awesome. The bbq sauce is perfect. People were friendly and I would go back again in a heartbeat

I’ve been here three times now and I can’t stop getting the beef and cheddar. I want to try other sandwiches and I will eventually get to them all but the beef and cheddar is amazing. Add in the fact that the staff is friendly and courteous and you have a winning combination. I will definitely add this place to my weekly rotation.

Stopped here today for first time — happened to drive past and decided to stop in since i was starving. I was greeted by THREE — yes three– super friendly employees who each asked «Hi, how are you?» separately, all within 90 seconds of being there. What a lovely greeting! So much positivity and friendliness. I appreciate that.
The place is decorated with Firehouse get-​up. Cutesy. Not necessary but hey, they have to have a «schtick» right?! Bottom line — their subs are DELICIOUS. I DEFINITELY like it 3000% more than Subway. Also liked it more than both Potbelly and Jimmy Johns too, to be honest! The bread was so soft and fresh. It was packed with turkey/​bacon (unlike Subway, who gives you three flimsy slices of turkey). They also pack a pickle in with your sandwich (but wrapped separately so it doesn’t get your bread soggy).
I decided to sit in and eat, since i was going to be driving for the next hour. While i was eating my delicious sub, one of the owners asked if everything was ok and asked if i needed anything. Again, super-​friendly! we chatted for a minute.
I only knocked off one star for price. It was $ 9-​something for a meal combo. I got a normal sized sub (I think they called it a Medium), a bag of chips, and a fountain drink. I think that’s kind-​of expensive. While it may deter me from coming frequently, i will definitely choose to come here over other sandwich joints in the future.
I am a fan! I will be back. And i will be telling my family about it, too. And just a side note: The Manager mentioned they also do catering and what not, so if you have corporate events going on, consider ordering from here!
The place is CLEAN. As soon as someone would leave, they’d come out and clean the tables. And while i was there, someone came out to sweep the floor. So they are on top of their game.

Very good sub shop, great subs. Also tried the chili which was also very good. I like the option of different hot sauces. The restaurant was very clean. I do recommend this sub shop.

Ordered the foot-​long NY Steamer to go from here at 8pm on a Saturday night, close to their close time. Seemed a bit pricey — until I started eating it. It was loaded with meat and tasted great. They gave me my money’s worth in meat, so I’ll be back.

You know I really do not take the time out to write reviews but this one needed to be written. My company gets their group lunches here whenever we can. The staff is always friendly and the food is even better I recommend this place to anyone looking to get a sub for lunch.

Went here today for lunch. Had the brisket cheddar sub w/​Cheetos. I say that the best part about firehouse subs is there friendly staff & the LARGE selection of sauces. If you like spicy on your sub, this is the place to go. I’d say the quality is far superior to Subway & better than PotBelly. If you’re a guy, this is the place for you!
*Would’ve given 5 stars had it not been so pricey ($ 10.15) for a medium lunch combo!

I couldn’t help the urge as I sped past Firehouse Subs I pulled an illegal U-​Turn into the entrance past a subpar sub shop. I wasn’t too hungry but once I bit into the steamed cheddar brisket I know why this is one of my favorite go to places for lunch! Another cool thing is their pop machine so many options.

I love sandwiches, from hot to cold, to spicy or mild. The list of ingredients I enjoy would extend quite long. Aside from upbeat customer service, a nice array of hot sauces to choose from, and one of those newer coca-​cola 60+ flavors machines, I would not return to firehouse subs anywhere in the foreseeable future.
I came in with a family member one night for dinner and we each ordered sandwiches to bring home to eat, we are five minutes away so we got them to go. The sandwich was warm still at home; however, placing this «steamed meat» on a large sub bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese couldn’t go more wrong. The sandwich simply tasted like meat juice. No taste of lettuce, onion, tomato, or even meat, just a big and sloppy soaked bun of one big screw up.
Safe to say, my friends were incorrect in recommending the place to me after we had discussed the restaurant, and sure enough another friend insisted on trying the place against my recommendations. And his summary of the meal? The exact same as mine and my family members’, flavorless ingredients lobbed together with some sort of strange juice drenching them.

This place has great sandwiches! I really love the low cal options because they are still a good size with a lot of flavor! This is a must try.

Came in during the lunch rush. Right away I was greeted by every member of staff on the floor. The cashier asked if I was new to the place. When I said I was he gave me a menu tour, explaining the different subs, as well as which ones were the most popular for the store, for the region, and overall, as well as his own recommendation.
Ordered the New York Steamer in their traditional method of making it. It was delivered to my table in just a couple minutes.
I swear it’s not an exaggeration to say this was the best sub I’ve gotten from any of the local sub places.
They have a coke freestyle machine instead of a regular soda fountain, which is a plus for me.
I’m planning on going back repeatedly.
The downside about this place is the parking lot. It’s a shared lot with the other stores, it isn’t very big, and can get congested very easily.

I would like to say thank you so much to the two Firehouse Sub employee and owner, Kristen and Steve for contacting me about this issue. It goes a long way to know that one customer has gotten so much attention, and wasn’t just blown off. I do understand that mistakes do happen. Because of this correspondence, I will not completely write Firehouse Subs off yet. If I find myself in the area again, and I am fancying a sandwich, I may just give it a go.

First time at Firehouse and I am quote impressed. with such a plethora of sandwich places it’s hard to pick. I ordered a smokehouse beef and brisket with cheddar. It was outstanding. The bread, meat and cheese were so tasty and what bumped my rating up to 5 stars is the ample amount of choices of sauce one can choose to put on their sandwich. I put the house sauce (some tangy and spicy BBQ sauce) and wow it really made the sandwich delicious. Add on top of this the quick and friendly service and I was pleasantly surprised.

Love Firehouse. Have enjoyed their subs for over 3 yrs now. I like that they heat the meat and toast the bread. First time in this particular location. Was promptly greeted with a smiling and courteous staff. Place looked clean. They are know for their Italian sandwich and the array of hot sauces. Stay away from the «Dave’s Insanity Sauce», just a drop will do you in. If after trying the Italian you don’t like it try it without the honey ham. They also have a rewards program. Can’t tell you how many free meals I’ve had over the years.

This place has amazing subs! Went there last weekend and their customer service was amazing! They greet you once you come in and they are so nice. The subs we tried were the steak and cheese and meatball and the engineer they were all amazing! Give them a try you won’t be disappointed!
