For selection, this is my favorite clothing store in Ventura. Some pieces are a bit pricey but you can tell they put a lot of time and consideration into their buying. Also, they get amazing fabric– so much of their stuff is ridiculously soft and comfy. Staff is hit and miss– sometimes they’re friendly, sometimes they’re oblivious to the fact that I’m even in the store. Overall though, I don’t mind that much. This is a great local business.

I frequent this store when I’m in the area. I head straight for the bikinis. However, they rarely carry my size. I think this would not be the case if I was a local.
Love this store because they carry unique, but brand name, products. Very high end items, pricey, but great quality. Definitely hit up this venue for gifts for the beach life enthusiast.
The salespeople are very impressionable. They are eager to help, but not in your face creepy. Laid back ambiance so you can enjoy your shopping experience.

The sales people here rock, I was on the hunt for some TOMs Canvas shoes… Enter a young sales clerk that was more than willing to deal with my need for the perfect pair of shoes. Of course my foot size can sometimes vary, much like my dress size, but the sales clerk was able to help me find a pair that fit and was more than willing to do the leg work to find them. He also explained that Tom shoes run small and a lot of times customers have to get a size up.
My cousin found a retro pair of VANs Hi-​top skater sneakers that she wanted desperately… Shhh, her birthdays coming up, she may still get them!
The store is clean and well put together and while the prices are a bit high, the products pretty much speak for themselves, they are hot and on point for surfers, skaters and beach community.
This stores a perfect fit for Ventura County.

Sometimes when I go to surf shops i don’t get the best service. This definitely wasn’t the occasion this time — RTL (his name on my receipt) was very helpful despite a store full of customers. He took the time to help me choose Rainbow sandals and even gift wrapped them! I am very pleased with the customer service and the clothing.

This is a super cute store! I bought a Hobo Wallet from here about 6 months ago and the hardware on it broke! The store manager Sarah came to my rescue… and quickly! She contacted Hobo and was able to get me a brand new working wallet within a few days. She was so nice and helpful! Will def continue business with Wet Sand:)

Purchased a shirt today and upon trying on shirt I noticed a small hole under front pocket of white Tee Shirt. I returned to store to get exchange or return. The young blond manager proceeded to inform me that they would not be able to change shirt since I cut the garment tag off the side shirt tail. This tag had a scissors and dotted line to promote owner to cut off tag. The manager proceed to state that since I cut tag off they can not exchange or replace. She claims without the tag on the garment they can not sell shirt. Now who would buy a shirt with a hole in it? Last time I shop at that wetSand. Disappointed in Ventura!

Cutest stuff and great vibe in this Main Street shop in Ventura. Super soft wares and hip surf wear that my friend and I gobbled up. We remembered this great store when on a past wine walk and targeted it as one of our first stops on our doggie shopping trip. My friend and I are always looking for great little places that are dog friendly. WetSand didn’t disappoint. Not only are they doggie shopping friendly, but they came to cuddle and pet our companions and made us feel so welcome. They get it! If all shops along Main Street in Ventura would «get it» then maybe our little beach town would become as well-​known and extremely popular and profitable as Laguna, Ocean Beach, Pismo etc that embrace pet destination cities. YIPEE you got it spot on! We do recommend putting a doggie bowl outside with water as that signifies you are pet friendly, which is really a great marketing ploy… XO

What a great locally-​owned shop. They carry the coolest stuff — great clothing, accessories, and surfboards. Whoever does the buying really has great taste — everything they carry is gorgeous. The «Wet Sands» t-​shirt that i bought, in royal blue with an image of a whale, is my new favorite t-​shirt. A great store full of lovely goods. One of the best shops in Ventura, and right on the main drag. Do yourself a favor and browse their amazing shop.

Every time I drive up to Ventura, I always drop by Main St, and this store in particular. Family-​owned surf shop (clothing mostly) that even has its own line of beachwear — shirts, tanks, hats, sweatshirts, and even notepads. Killer store. Drop in.

Love this place. We live in LA and stop here everytime we travel north and always leave with some small treasure. It reminds me of the sensibility of Urban Outfitters 15 years ago. Excellent taste. Super friendly staff. I have bought things in the store and online. Their online customer service is great. Not just a shop for surfers either. My wife doesn’t surf and always finds something she loves. I buy there because I know that whatever I ask them about wetsuits or gear, they will give me the straight dope. Wetsand is what first got me into understanding how great Ventura is. Its a gem.

This family run surf boutique is the BEST. They carry my favorite girl brands like RVCA, QUIKSILVER, Tavik, San Lorenzo, Brixton, Free People, HOBO, Ray-​Ban and so much more. The BEST customer service and friendly faces every time you walk in! The store is decorated in shabby surf-​chic with loads of art and fun accessories and gifts, too. Gotta LOVE WET SAND definitely the best shop in Ventura :)

love this little surf shop! they have the best teenie tiny swim suits from the hottest brands and always one step ahead in fashion. they have free people and all the high end surf brands pluss art and jewelry from local artists which i think is a major bonus! although i havent bought any, they have a bunch of surf boards and wetsuits. all the employees are very knowledgeable and super cool too.
