Walked in and the place was empty. The two at the counter where friendly and helpful. I was excited to find a dip n dots close by! Now I don’t have to wait for the fair to come around!

I remember the day Dippin Dots opened in my middle school days, the Balboa kids went wild at first. Pretty cool since I thought you could only find them at amusement parks. Its not as pricey as Cold Stone and there is an awesome punch card system that you must use. 2 punches for every cup you buy! 10 punches gets you a free small. They also offer delivery now! You can’t go wrong with cookies and cream, banana split, candy bar crunch, or moose tracks. Cheers!

My girlfriend and I are frequent visitors. We love Dippin Dots and the owners are some of the nicest people around. Don’t forget to get your frequent visitor card punched.

Ice cream melting in your mouth, can’t get any better! Great customer service from the owners. They keep their store very clean and always have a great attitude. Ask for a punch card and after 10 purchases, you get a free one.

I love Dippin’ Dots! The man who works here is always so friendly and the ice cream is delicious. We tried a shake last time and it was great too! I’m always happy to spend my money here! :)

I love this place! Such a cute little place and every time I have gone there are only a few people. If you don’t love dippin dots it’s likely your childhood sucked. I love that we have one in Ventura.

There’s just times where you get a sweet tooth and crave random things like Dippin Dots. The place was clean, we were greeted shortly after coming in at the store, our orders were taken and we got what we wanted and sat ourselves down. The man well– manning the store, went his marry way as he proceeded to mind his own business. The dots tasted like normal ice cream we got rocky road, with of course the novelty of little crushed ice melting in your mouth. There was nothing really special to it. And theeeen the bf’s cup had hair in it which was very off-putting. We chucked our cups down and sworn never to come back again. Lol.

Agree with past Unilocalers… going right after school gets out is a bad idea. Any time other than that is usually pretty laid back. The owner doesn’t really come out until you’re ready to order. Then goes back to whatever he is doing in the back room right after the transaction is finished. Their variety of flavors is solid. You can sample. They have various toppings. You can even get regular ice cream! Give it a shot. Because I said so. –Rayce #TheLifestyleNotTheLabel

This store is ok. I would strongly say that when school gets out stay far away. The horde will come here and at starbucks. From middle schoolers and the high school this place has more fighting and drama than a gym. I have never been in here when the floor has been clean. Kids like it. I don’t. I picked up my youngest daughter up here several times a week during school season. Price is high. Service is slow. And drama abounds. Not run by adults.

Came here for daddy and daughter day out and we never got greeted when we walk in the door. The guy said nothing. The trash can in the place is filthy and gross. I hate that I would have to pick up a dirty lid to open the trash to throw my one napkin away on that gross lid. They really need to fix that. Dipping dots ice cream was overpriced and the guy didn’t fill it up to the top of the cup either. FYI …if you don’t say it’s to go they will charge you tax too.

Seriously though, who in the world knew there were actually dippin dots stores?! Unfortunately, i’s not great. Kind of isolated in the corner of this shopping center. The lights inside give it a weird cold unfriendly atmosphere. Didn’t see anybody else around when we went. They do have a nice outdoor seating area with some odd but generally popular music. At least they have a lot of flavors to chose from, and they are willing to let you sample and/or mix them. Pretty expensive for the size you get, but they again I usually get like 5 bits in and that’s enough. I personally just prefer froyo or actual ice cream. I probably won’t be back unless my friends really really crave some.

I had never seen a Dippin’ Dots outside of a fair or a mall but I was stoked when I just randomly saw this one!!! I am in love with the cookies n cream that has pieces of Oreos inside of it, but it is nice to see that there are so many flavors to choose from since it is much larger than a little pop up stand. The gentleman that is there is always very nice, I wish that I could afford to grab some more often.

Dippin Dots seems to be a dying breed of ice cream. My wife and I found this Dippin Dots location on Unilocal and when we got there we were pleasantly surprised to find out tha this was a full Dippin Dots store with a bunch of different flavors, unlike the ones in the mall that only have a few. I tried a few different flavors; Java, Birthday Cake, and Cookies and Cream. All of them were awesome. I definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone.

I like this place a lot. The owner is super nice! Dippin dots is a really fun way to eat ice cream & there are a lot of choices here that you don’t see at the fair. I have too get one of the dippin dot cakes the next time I visit, talk about different!

I seriously thought Dippin Dots was a Fair thing. I had no idea there were actual Dippin Dot storefronts… Needless to say, when I spotted it, I ventured over to take a peak. Sure enough… multiple Flavors of Dippin Dots in abundance. I chose the strawberry shortcake, it’s only 100 calories per serving… and delicious. Cakes? Dippin Dot cakes are new to me. The customer before me purchased one for someones birthday and it looked interesting. I’ll have to try that one day. This place is tucked away in the corner, so it’s not easy to spot. There’s never much of a crowd, simply because of the location. Give them a try! :0) Reviewed by Yvette Leilani Brownstone

I never knew Dippin’ Dots was available outside of fairs and theme parks ! This one is a family friendly place and their flavors are excellent. I am a fan of their mint-chocolate but others whom I went with had their banana split and loved it too !

Dippin’ Dots: the ice cream of the future. I thought it was just for kids and I didn’t know they had their own stores till I saw one in Ventura. My nephew really likes it so I thought I would give it a try. It’s a small store with a couple of arcade games by Von’s in Victoria Plaza. You can’t easily see it from the street. I was surprised that they have more than ice cream spheres. They also have flavored ice spheres, yogurt spheres, and sherbet spheres, as well as dots ice cream cakes, dotwiches, dots sundaes, and milkshakes. I’m going to get the horchata flavor that my nephew likes(he also likes their cookies and cream and vanilla) when I have the chance. He said the dotwiches were hard to eat because the spheres fall out. Okay, they didn’t have the horchata during my visit but they had maybe 30 flavors to choose from. I wanted to try the vanilla yogurt spheres, but they were out. So I had a 5 oz. cup of Oreo Cookies n Cream($ 3). You can see real Oreo cookie pieces in the cup, along with cream flavored spheres. I liked the dots — they have a different texture than ice cream and they melt in your mouth. They’re made with a special process(cryogenic freezing). You can add extra toppings if you want.
