If only they were open ALL the time! They have ice cream (vegan options too!) from a creamery on Lopez Island, as well as Full Tilt (West Seattle). Prices are reasonable. Flavors diverse. Kid favorite. Mom approved. CASH (or local check) ONLY.

The guy is so chill. Seriously cool. Love the atmosphere of the porch. Just transports you into a land where time doesn’t exist. Oh yeah — great flavors of ice cream.

Me: So I hear you serve Lincoln Island Creamery?
Lady: You mean Lopez Island?
Me: Yes! So which ones are Lincoln Island?
Friend: *looks at me like I’m stupid* Oh my gosh. Lincoln doesn’t even sound Hispanic.
Me: I don’t look at people or islands that way.
But seriously, they serve Lopez Island Creamery’s Raspberry Swirl and it is delicious — smooth, creamy, and packs a great big raspberry punch! They also had the Lemon Raspberry Swirl which was very refreshing on a hot day like yesterday — the lemon helps lighten up the flavors.
Besides Lopez Island, they also serve Full Tilt Creamery, one of which was Ube. Expect to find ZuZu’s on the back porch of the «Center» or the building where Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie is located. Make sure to bring at least $ 3.25 in cash or check (no plastic!) for a scoop of ice cream.
