Great place tune up the golf game. Light, heaters, and a putting and chipping green. Plenty of mats to hit from and some grass tboxes on the far end. Be nice if had lights on range to see where your ball lands at night. Jack is a PGA certified trainer and gave me some great lessons!

This place is a fixture of the Heights. The Heights is a fixture of the Couv. The Couv is a fixture of what should be an annexed suburb of Ptown. But I digress. Good ol Vanco Drivin Rizzle saw me through my childhood. Like the lord in the footsteps poem, it carried me through the bad times & walked beside me during the good times. My dad and I used to have hours-long putting contests under the lights on the huge putting green for a dime per hole. Ol Keith Sanden taught me a few of the swing positions I needed to know. Jack Young took a look at my swing for free when my once-scratch handicap had started sliding dangerously upward and informed me I needed to completely rebuild my swing instead of buy a new driver. And good ol Terry? Say what you want about him, but I just love the goofy bastard. I even took a «natural golf» lesson from him. He was like a kid in a candy shop with his enthusiasm, although the idea of «natural golf» was more like a bull in the china shop of my swing thoughts. Not that there’s anything wrong with it. A lesson from Terry would be very good for an average or newer golfer. He knows his stuff and loves teaching. The cast of characters in the pro shop has remained unchanged since time immemorial. In the 30+ years I’ve gone there, I can’t remember anyone different. They’re great. And the range itself makes me feel like Tin Cup practicing on the dust-buoying winds of west Texas. All that’s missing is the rusted-out Volkswagen bug and Romeo telling me I’m over-pronating. And over-supinatin’ too. Love it as-is, but since the times are a-changing, you know what would be perfect here? A second deck on top of the roof, and a full bar.

Seemed a little expensive for a bucket of balls(but to be honest I haven’t been to many, so I may not know!). However, it was older which made 9 dollars seem like a lot. The man there was quite nice though and my boyfriend had a nice time for his birthday so that’s what counts.
