I’s nice to look forward to the occasional nail pamper. Previously, I would dread the awkwardness of walking into salon, after salon, after salon… where the nail tech ignores me for an hour… while carrying on a conversation with someone else… in a language I don’t understand. Yes, the heavy use of ellipsis must be used to convey my frustration. GAH. Thankfully, those days are over! I came across this bad broad in dire need of a last minute mani/​pedi for my wedding. I was helping my (now) mother-​in-​law with party prep in the ‘Couve’ and decided to look up salons. I’m glad I did. So glad, in fact, that I am now willing to travel 35+ minutes for an appointment. Tara has been patient with me despite my indecisiveness regarding color/​design, and she doesn’t refuse options that may be more time consuming. She also provided me with helpful tips on how to prevent splitting and dry cuticles, which helped improve the appearance of my hands. During my last visit I requested a two-​tone negative space design. She did such a great job that I couldn’t stop admiring my nails afterwards. Book an appointment now, your nails will thank you!

This girl is the best! She’s been my nail fairy for the last 4 years! I’ve never been disappointed. She’s got a true passion for what she does and it shows in her work. Plus she’s an all around cool chick and fun to spend time with.

Tara is the best! She is really detail oriented and gives the most luxurious pedicures. I am literally having one right now! I highly recommend her! If it’s a mani, pedi, nail art or all of the above, Tara is your girl!

I had no idea such a fantastic nail tech was right around the corner from my office until I saw Tara’s work on Instagram and decided to make an appointment. Now I typically have bi-​weekly pedicures done to prevent ingrown toenails and for the pretty factor since I wear flip flops practically year round. I am now 6 days post pedicure and my feet are still very smooth, my heals are normally rough within a few days of having pedicures done but not the case with this pedicure. Also not one single chip to the polish, they still look fresh and my nails are not digging into my toes like they typically are post pedicures elsewhere. Also her massage is primarily localized to the feet which is also nice because most places do a lot of wimpy weird leg massage during pedicures and for me I prefer just my feet worked on. So if you are looking for a great nail tech who is very clean and who takes pride in her work and her clients happiness than I would totally recommend booking with Tara. Just a word of advice book in advance, don’t get irritated when she can’t get you in for same day appointments (she’s good what do you expect?!), and she’s a solo nail tech so she can’t accommodate more than a single person at one time which is the only bummer because sometimes its nice to get pedicures with the friends. Would highly recommend.
