I don’t like to use foul language online, so I’ll just say that the food here starts with a «g» and ends with«o phở yourself.» My wife is especially disappointed with Phở Saigon … and this review … because her vote is for just a 1-star review. The dishes we ate were simply not very good Vietnamese food. The were damn awful and shameful. * Salad Rolls with Shrimp and Pork So simple, yet so bad. Not worth finishing(1 star) * Crispy Spring Rolls Hot on the outside and not on the inside … sigh(1 star) * Crispy Tofu No crispy. Soft ‘n soggy tofu(1 star) * Hot Pot with Shrimp and Veggies Warm bowl of White rice with pitiful Veggies and odd Shrimp(2 stars) * Phở Tai Nam Basic Beef Broth and Phở Noodles with Steak & Brisket(3 stars) The name of the restaurant is Phở Saigon and based on our meal there, Phở Noodles should be the only thing you try at this restaurant … so, yes, go phở your meal at Phở Saigon.

First time coming here, and never would have known this place existed if my boyfriend wouldn’t have showed me. Little hole in the wall place with awesome food and great service. You get tea without asking and they have phenomenal bao.

Hands down the best Phó in Vancouver! This restaurant ran away with the coveted title of «Best Phở and Roll» competition in Vancouver. Over 15 restaurants were chosen for their better than average ratings from Portland, Vancouver and even a few from Seattle. Phở Saigon’s beef broth, with it’s rich beefy texture, balanced spices and satisfying finish, shamed the competition. The egg rolls were light and crispy, with a well developed pork and vegatable flavor. The dipping sauce was first rate and, and of course, adjustable to taste. Other selections from the menu are outside the scope of this rating and were not considered. Give this little hole in the wall a try. What it lacks in atmosphere and cheeky décor, if more than makes up for in quality. On other visits I have tried the standard menu offering and found them to be a bit below the benchmark set by their fantastic beef Phó soup stock… decent but not there. If you want the best soup come here to Phó Saigon. Better sandwiches, traditional Vietnamese cuisine, and fantastic meatball pastries can be had at Tan Tan Café on Mill Plain.

My fiancé and I have never looked into a local phở place before; we have always(for some reason) had phở out of town. We got a craving for phở recently and decided to trust Unilocal’s overall reviews to find our new place. Don’t let the plain look of this place turn you away! This place is by far the best phở I have ever had. The broth was excellent and our waiter was knowledgeable when it came to asking questions. We were given plenty of add-ins and left feeling 100% satisfied. We will definitely be making the drive from Battle Ground to come here again!

Phở was good had good flavor. They have the traditional brisket, tripe and tendon(I love);which some places don’t have(disappointing). Service was fine. Only thing holding back fifth star is the Thai Tea Boba! You pay 3.75 for 10oz(if that, probably 8oz idk) and approximately 5 pieces of boba. Not okay!

The food is pretty good. However I found a piece of shrimp skin in my beef phở… The owner apologized and gave me a 50% discount but it’s still somewhat annoying to find something that’s not supposed to be there.

I had the beef & lemon salad. So beautiful and so delicious. It was composed like a work of art. My friend had shrimp phở and the broth was delicious. The menu is wide-ranging so I know I will come back to try more

Stopped in for a Bánh mì for lunch, the place is nice its in a strip mall so there is not a whole bunch going on when I came in. The place was kind of crowded with people getting Phở. I guess if that is what I would have gotten it might have been better. I was looking just for a sandwich something that I could eat on the go well running errands. I have had Bánh mì around town at a couple of other places like Tan Tan and a place by New Seaons on 164th and that is what I was expecting. Phở Saigons was more a hoagie roll with carrots, pepper and like one sprig of cilantro.

I’ve had better phở, and I have had worse. It was just OK for me. I do admit, the staff was very friendly, and I would go back, it just wouldn’t be my first choice. Along with other reviews, for the price, the portions of phở and salad rolls are very small compared to other places I have been.

Walked in at 820pm. Was told only take out is available? When there were 2 other tables eating… Seriously??? Super disappointed that they would turn with 40 minutes til their closing time. I will not waste my time going there again.

Great spot to grab delicious Vietnamese food. Service is friendly and the food is prep and served to you no less than 10 – 20 minutes, depending on how busy they are. The prices are pretty reasonable and the proportions of the meal is just right. The food can be adjusted to your liking and its a very cute restaurant to go to.

The place was clean, the service was great and friendly. We tried the avocado drink and it was great and I hate avocado but thought I’d try it cuz it sounded weird and it didn’t taste at all like avocado. Cant really say what it tasted like but it was good. i would order it again. The coconut drink was good too. It tasted like sweet toasted coconut. Ok, now for the food, we didn’t really like the phở or the bun. It had a flavor that was hard to describe but another patron’s review said, «like dirty socks.» I think I need to go with that. I wouldn’t eat here again but I would drink here.

I’ll never eat here again. The first red flag was the lady in the back making our food while picking her teeth with a toothpick. Our chicken pad Thai was terrible and the chicken looked/tasted like canned chicken. I thought I had ordered from the Siagon restaurant down the road when I called for my «to-go» order, but thought we’d give this place a try when we learned our mistake. Needless to say, we will not make that mistake again.

It was a cold & rainy Friday night at 7 pm when my hubby & I recently ate here. We both had colds and were really in the mood for some good phở. We were the only customers in the restaurant that night. To me that is not a good sign. Looking past the faded dirty mural on the wall & sad feeling I got from the atmosphere I was willing to overlook it all if the food was amazing. I have had great phở before and the chicken phở I received was terrible. The broth tasted like dirty sock water and the chicken was rubbery. Plus it was pricey! I hate writing bad reviews but I will not be back here.

I had small bowl of #19, phở with top round steak and well done brisket. We also ordered fresh salad rolls and pot stickers, and I ordered some fresh young coconut juice. All delicious. This place is a total hole-in-the-wall located in a strip mall along side a few other restaurants, a cleaner, an Indian grocer and a magic the gathering store of some sort. I found this place after going to the Indian grocery. I would definitely come again. The phở was delicious. The place was deserted at 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon. They have a minimum charge of $ 20 to pay via credit card.
