I can’t say for certain but I feel that it’s possible that if you order a top shelf alcohol you may not get it. It’s either that or their drinks really are just awful and taste a whole lot like alcohol from your first aid kit. Typical hole in the wall bar atmosphere. Bar flies are the type that head to this place. Good to go to if plain old fashioned getting wasted is your thing.

It’s a cult and if you a threat to the cult your 86. The employees are fake as hell as well the owner Mary(4 eyed retard lady) Do not be a Minority they don’t like its twice as worse. Tiffany(overweight blond) the bartender pour good drinks but who cares she work hand and hand with Mary. The patrons at Ob’s are majority cool except the guys that sit in front of the bar and try to act like they own the bar. The regulars really don’t have a life… They are part of the cult so be careful. Anyway to the minorities be careful who you give your money too because the owner is racist. Just try to have a conversation with her and look her in the eyes. You’ll realize it’s something missing with her like diversity. I traveled this entire world and I’ve never been treated so bad from an establishment.

I like this bar exactly for the reasons others may not. Full of regulars? YES. And they welcome you! Food? Who doesn’t like bar food? And there are SEVERAL items to choose from, which I think is nice. Karaōke? There are specific karaōke nights. I happen to think listening to someone sing horribly after hearing someone terrific is hilarious. Bathrooms? What are you expecting in a bar? They do not smell like you know what. It’s a sports bar! Ask TOM a question and you’ll get the answer. Trust me on this!

This is a fan favorite for my boss for Friday afternoon beers(post work, of course!) We usually settle down with a pitcher or so, chat, watch whatever game happens to be on, and hang out. Prices are fantastic, service is great, and atmosphere is chill and inviting. Definitely a great place to have a beer. They also do karaōke some nights, but that’s not my vibe so I can’t comment.

A dive bar at its finest. I enjoyed my time with friends(got in some karaōke) and the food — although typical pub grub — was tasty after too many beers :)

Standard burbs strip mall bar. The place seemed to have lots of regulars. Prices and pours left a little to be desired. Waitress never heard of «knob creek» and the pours were a little light. My wife complained the bathrooms were in pretty bad shape. The TV situation was decent. They do host trivia and karaōke nights if that is your thing.

We went there on a whim because another bar down the street was charging a cover. We were pleased with our decision! It was fun watching the karaōke singers(not all of them terrible) and the servers kept the beers coming. They had pool, darts, and lots of TVs. I would definitely go back.

Great place to come watch football. NFL Ticket and breakfast on Sundays. Like the patrons there during the games. Food is good for greasy standard bar food. Recommend the biscuits and gravy. The owners are friendly and a good place to be during football season. Hannah the server on Sunday remembers what we order and great at her job. We don’t normally go at night– different crowd and karaōke.

A dump. Owner is a real piece of work. Locals pretty territorial. Not a good neighborhood bar.

The owner is tragically the worst kind of drunk, is constantly butting into customers personal lives, and is dating a convicted sex offender, who is always present. Kind of hard to support such disgusting behavior.

Epitome of a non-trendy Vancouver bar. Nothing to write home about. Definitely over-run by regulars. Not horrible, but I give it one star because it always smells like a dirty bleach rag. That is such a turn-off. I’d rather be in a smokey bar than this.

Notable only for its proximity to my hockey rink. If you have sensitive ears, Sunday karaōke night is not for you. But they take good care of us, and serve decent French fries + plenty of TVs to watch the games.

Don’t get me wrong the place is fun, but having to wait forever to sing is ridiculous. I get two maybe three songs if I get there at 8 and stay till they close.

Look, another strip mall bar! Shocker. I have been hearing about this place for years, even before I was 21. It didn’t seem like the most spectacular place to enjoy a tasty beverage. Since it didn’t appeal to me I didn’t see a point to going until last year for a friend’s birthday. I was still slightly cringing as I was walking towards the building with their hideous highlighter bright painted words on the window to «try and draw a crowd» and a group of chain smokers by the door. As we walked in we were greeted by a friendly bouncer and the awful sound of a drunken karaōke singers. When we got to the bar we got carded a second time which brings me to the question does the friendly bouncer get things wrong often? Luckily the drinks were strong for everyone so we were okay with being carded a second time. Sadly though when the waitress came around for our second order of drinks several people in our party got carded for a third time. Their food is pretty hit or miss. It is the usual bar food for an alright price. Sometimes it comes out quickly and tasting great, other times I’ve had it come out after about an hour of ordering(I’m not sure how that was possible when the place was pretty dead) and it was quite soggy and cold. Who knew you could mess up deep frying frozen french fries and a grilled cheese sandwich. My friends seem to love this place so naturally they talk me into going back on random occasions. I’ve been when it is super slow and super busy. The drinks are always great and luckily I only get carded once now. I’m not a fan of karaōke so the place still makes me cringe a little but I at least have many tvs placed on different sporting events to keep my attention. I guess this place is just A-OK for ‘Couve standards.

Okay, so perhaps I am a little bias. When I lived in WA I was going to this place pretty much nightly and therefore it grew on me as well as the patrons and workers. Drinks — Average price. I didn’t mind paying a little more because I knew I was getting my drinks worth. Ya know? People — Well, its a karaōke bar so that means you have a little bit of everybody here. A good solid mix of regulars and first-timers. Karaōke — Well I won’t lie, I love Tracy, but Casey you will always have my karaōke heart lol. I am not sure if these two are stil working there, but usually Tracy works M-Thur and Casey Fri-Sat then Ty on Sundays. Maybe things have changed? Anyhow great selection of music and everyone gets to sing a couple of times. Even the KJ’s get a song or two in :-) If you haven’t been here, try it!

I thought it was a pretty kool place to be. I new in town and was checking out different spots in Vancouver to hang out and this place was one of the good ones its a mix crowd everyone’s really friendly has flat screen tv every corner, pool, and yes kareoke for those who like to get down with the mic. Mondays live night you and bring your own music or instrument and be on stage Tuesday is dollar taco night Wednesday is ladies night happy hour everyday except Sundays foods pretty good too and its a bar so they hook it up with the shots
