Called Steve at Northwest appliance to inspect my washer machine that sporadically failed without any given notice. We are an EXTREMELY busy Salon on Millplain. Steve surprisingly squeezed us in the same day. Disassembled washer machine and found piece of clothing stuck in the pump. Pulled the object out. And the washing machine started working perfectly fine. Super impressed with his availability and reasonable price. Would strongly recommend !!!

I’m not sure how to rate this because there actually was no service. After waiting five minutes to be greeted — I walked to the back to find someone. I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted in which they clearly state on their website they offer. They did not even know if or when the person who provides this service would be in, but they definitely were not coming in today. They offered me no suggestion of another place, or to take my information down to be called for an appointment. It was a joke — And so slowly off my one attempt to get service from them — I would never go back again. You can’t run a business like that — there’s always someone who will offer the service better and faster and with true customer service. What a joke.

I just had a haircut today from Emily at the new location on Mill Plain. By FAR the best haircut I’ve ever had. Emily took her time, was awesome to talk to and truly cared about my hair. Having long, thick hair I usually find a little flaw after my trims, not one here! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thanks Emily!

I came to Vancouver WA from California for an important wedding and needed a good haircut. I found this place online, and called them, and received a kind, energetic, and professional response. Although they didn’t have room for an appointment, they were very helpful is giving me needed information. Couple minutes later, they call me back and tell me I can come in right away for a haircut. When I came in, Tina the owner welcomed me and gave me one of the best cuts I ever got. It wasn’t just a quick, 20 minutes haircut. She took her time, and made sure I was happy with it. This is exactly what you want from a hair studio. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes urban/​hip environments, great customer service, and exceptional haircuts.

I’m so glad that I found On the Fringe Hair Studio when I moved from Oregon to Vancouver. Tina is very accommodating and gets to know her clients really well. She takes her time in cutting my hair and she asks my opinion before she starts cutting it. I love the way she styled it and I am very satisfied with how it turned it. I am definitely coming back to On the Fringe Hair Studio. Job well done Tina!

After going to countless salons I have settled here at «On the Fringe» and plan to stay. The place is small but stylish, it sports an artistic flair, service is friendly and I love that it is open on Sundays. When I met Emily I thought how can this fresh faced young lady have experience. After chatting with her it is clear that she has absorbed more than book knowledge. Her grandmother still does hair as well as her mother. When people stop me to say how gorgeous my hair is I tell them about a little place called «On the Fringe».

I can’t believe I haven’t updated my earlier review after the exceptional service of the owner, Tina.
After I called that same day hoping to have the cut corrected I was blown away by Tina’s concern and consideration. She not only listened to what I wanted but when she realized my cut would need to start over she gave up a night of cocktails and created a masterpiece I hair!
I am so happy to have found this salon, Tina and their great hair products! (They have a great low chemical product)
I can’t wait to need another haircut & talk to their awesome staff.

I had been looking for an «alternative» hair salon in the Vancouver area for a while, and after reading great reviews about On The Fringe, I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! Tina and her assistant were so helpful and worked very hard on making hair look perfect. I will be going back for all my hair color in the future :)

Tina has been doing my hair for almost 10 years. I think very few stylists know how to do color really well, which is Tina’s true expertise. Her fashion colors are always tasteful and don’t fade. Her product knowledge sets her apart from other salon owners and I trust her products to be natural, gentle on both my hair and scalp.
