Marine Park

This is an amazing restaurant !! The staff went way beyond my expectations !!! If you ever come to Vancouver or Portland airport, you need to experience Beaches… The food is fantastic. I will definitely be back.

What a pleasant surprise! Such a nice little sandy and wooded area, just a few minutes’ drive from PDX.
I don’t know about you, but after a couple flights, and before a road trip… it’s a nice idea to grab a little lunch and decompress. Even better if you can do that in nature! I was happy to see this «beach» listed on Unilocal and we buzzed right over after grabbing some food and coffee.
Toes in sand, sailboats in view, kids throwing leaves at a duck, a dog chasing a stick and the Portland Airport across the water. Nice!
I spoke to a couple locals who enjoy this little spot for what it is: a little spot. The beach is no more just a small strip of sand. (At least the spot where we were and no one knew of more, although there is a boat launch.) You have to wait in line for the boat launch and I don’t know what was the hold-​up, but I was the third car back (no boat ;) and I sat there for a good five minutes and decided that I was out.
There’s also a picnic area and open grassy areas — all very inviting. Great spot to chill for a minute!
