I don’t usually do reviews too often other than sharing photos of what I ordered as I think photos truly add some reality to a rating in and of itself. I saying this, if you find I added a photo of something or even checked in at a particular place and did not write a negative review then you can assume from me that it was at least«acceptable» As for KC and this review, I am sharing because I have found this restaurant to be above average in both value, friendliness of service and quality of food. Definitely a restaurant worth trying.

Affordable, Great portion size, and delicious. Three things that everyone should weigh when eating out! This little joint has all three. I am a fan. The spicy chicken and the teriyaki chicken plates are the choices that I normally lean towards. 1. The Platter — With any choice you get a cup of soup that you can enjoy while your food is cooking. A side salad that is smothered(the good way) with the poppy seed dressing. Two scoops of white rice and more chicken then you know what to do with drenched in delicious teriyaki sauce. 2. The People — SOGREAT. Staff is extremely friendly 3. The Seating — Only sits 40, but the place is always pretty busy with turning tables that it shouldn’t be a problem.

Atmosphere: strip mall near Target. Nothing special, but VERY clean. It is done up in darker colors, nice lighting making for a cozy atmosphere. More 2 seater tables so I don’t recommend a large group gathering. They have take out as well. Menu: What you would expect, with yakisoba on the menu as well. Free soup! The food: we got chicken yakisoba and Kung pao chicken. The servings were LARGE, which was a surprise for the great price! They’ve got chopsticks, so you can feel legit. The Grilled chicken in the yakisoba was super yummy and well, grill-flavored-nice. The Kung pao was spicy in a great way, sniffle inducing, but not unbelievably hot. It could have used more peanuts and fewer onions, but perhaps I’m just picky. The egg flower soup was flavorful and tasted good. Overall: the service was quick and polite. Young man working even brought us takeout boxes and a bag before we even asked. It was a great way to spend the rainy afternoon with the daughter. I’d go again, and even grabbed a takeout menu on the way out.

This place would probably get more reviews if Unilocal had correct address. It’s 16020 Not 15020. Drove around in circles for 10 minutes trying to find this place. Was about to give up when my mom said«well can you call them?» Novel concept… actually using my phone to… make a call. This place is good. not great.but it merits a 4th star for 4 reasons in my book: 1. No wait at lunch time mid week. 2. FREE soup while waiting for your meal to be prepared. 3. Price. dishes were all around $ 7 or $ 8. Appetizer plate of 8 or 10 gyozas was $ 4. 4. The SHEARAMOUNTOFFOOD you get! OMG! Imagine you’re at a one plate all-you-can-eat buffet and the amount of food you would pile on. DOUBLE that and that’s the amount of food that will be on your plate. I had two HEARTY meals from my one chicken yakisoba dish. So in effect two large $ 4 meals. Great deal. Only con in my particular dish was I wish it had a little bit more sauce… more teriyaki flavor. Oh yeah and dishes get two good sized scoops of rice added on the side and many dishes(not mine) come with a large salad with that yummy dressing teriyaki joints have. Try it. you’ll like it.

Super yummy teriyaki at super low prices? Sign me up! This place is close to my office, so if I forget my brown bag lunch, this is a place I like to visit. They’ll provide you with a cup of soup while you wait. It’s quite possibly the most delicious egg flower soup I’ve ever consumed. The portions of meat are insanely huge for the price you pay, plus you get a normal amount of rice and plenty of vegetables. Winner for sure!

I have eaten here a few times now and the last time was the last for me. The chicken is fatty and just off and the teriyaki sauce was frozen and like a jelly! There are 2 other teriyaki places just too close to warrant a trip to KC

Kung pao chicken and Beef & Broccoli like I’ve never had. No really. I don’t think that was really Kung pao. It was awful. The B&B was the worst I’ve ever had. The Pork fried rice wasn’t the worst, but it wasn’t the best. Please, people at Good Taste Restaurant, go to Taste of Asia or Taste of China and do like they do. They make it the normal way and it’s fabulous. Sorry. One star for the people. Nothing for the food.

Big portions, generous employees, and fantastic food! Their huge plates/bowls are filled with heaping amounts of flavorful food for a great price — you will not be disappointed.

Great price for teriyaki and you get a lot of food. I mostly do takeout here, but the environment is decent for a lunch spot — bright and clean. Food is prepared quickly, so it’s my go to spot for a quick lunch. While it’s not incredible, the teriyaki here is pretty delicious.

Never judge a book but it’s cover, or a menu by its seams(falling apart). This place had fantastic food! The serving sizes provided multiple nights meals for the two of us as well. We got the yakisoba(sp?) noodles and Mongolian beef and it was absolutely tasty down to the left bite of leftovers! The flavors were dancing on my tongue :) The staff and atmosphere were friendly. This has become one of our go to take out spots.

Quality food and service. A bit much on the churchy side, yet well worth the go. Size of food is plenty. Small shop bright and clean. The pork is the best. They also have Chinese menu options.

If you can tolerate the Christian radio station playing overhead, these guys serve up some pretty good teriyaki chicken. They were ok with giving me extra salad instead of rice but the dressing was a little sweet for my personal taste. I will have them hold it next time. The price is right: $ 7 for a huge plate of really good food. There is plenty of sriracha and extra teriyaki at each table to keep the«sauce whores» happy(you know who you are). The interior is a bit stark but clean. The staff is super nice. Pretty much your standard strip mall teriyaki shop, but the location and the price are perfect!

This is a wonderful place to eat! First time I went there I was greeted right away and the atmosphere was great. There was a large variety of food to choose from. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl and it was great! I paid about $ 7 for my meal and the portions were a great size. I am definitely coming back!

My husband and I moved here 1 month ago and discovered KC Teriyaki when we were shopping in the area. In that time we’ve been there at least 6 times. The food is delicious and doesn’t feel«heavy», the portions are huge(we always have leftovers for the next day), they have free egg drop soup while you wait(which is why we never call ahead, we want to sit and eat the delicious soup), and the staff is always very friendly. Excellent food, great prices, friendly service, free soup… I can’t say enough good things about this place and we will definitely be going back.

An excellent alternative to all the fast food places around here! My wife and I got lunch here and it was really good. The portions are huge! Also, the customer service was great, as the owner gave us each free bowls of soup to eat while we waited! Great place!

Ate here today with a friend. Turned out to be a nice place with good food. I had the Teriyaki Chicken and Gyoza plate and they Teriyaki Sauce was too salty. Came with tossed greens too! I would go back… the lady said she makes Kimchi! :)
