I went three, maybe four times and I can’t say I was over the moon about any of my experiences. The salon was recommended by a good friend and I kept trying to like it, but curly hair is challenging and not everyone is up to the task of cutting it. But there were other issues. At my last appointment which was in April I was told I couldn’t get in again until July. That seems crazy to me, plus there’s no loyalty to customers. I plunked down $ 160 for a trim and a color and you can’t get me in again for 10 weeks? Seriously?
Estilo does seem to be the salon for others, but not for me. It’s pricey and the attitude is also annoying. Would it do them harm to be nice? Uppity and aloof with customers. Seriously, try to remember my name and try to be in the moment and help me with products or whatever. I just felt like I didn’t belong and I was supposed to know I didn’t belong. I got the message that I was the problem.
They carry the usual products, Bumble & Bumble, which never do anything for my hair and some other high end, $ 30 a bottle stuff. It’s a pretty salon and clean, but I’ve tried and now I’m moving onward to a salon that appreciates my business and knows how to deal with curls.

The first time I was there I got the best haircut I have ever had in my life. The second time I knew when she was finished it was not anything near the first one. It was the same stylist. A couple weeks later I am going to have it cut again somewhere else.

I am very picky about my hair! But this place is amazing! I have not lived here for long, but I know these are the people to trust with my hair.

I’m one of those people who has been very loyal to hair stylists, but because of a move I tend to not want to drive as far as I used to to get my hair done. For the last 5 years I’ve had a really hard time finding a salon I love as much as the one that’s further away. My hair is very weird with how it handles color and I love my long hair. The last few years I’ve gone to stylists in Vancouver that just cannot seem to give me that perfect cut and color.
I’ve known Jaimee nearly all my life because we grew up together. I have seen her work and for some reason just never booked an appointment. Finally fed up with my current hair cut, I picked up the phone and made an appointment. HALLELUJAH! I found my new home salon :-) She rocked my cut and fully understands how much a gal can love her long hair. She also really understands my color issues and made some great suggestions so I booked my appointment for color with Anthony and I cannot wait!
I know some people have mentioned the prices are on the higher side, however they really are priced right. Their experience is really hard to find, and the time they spend with each client is worth every single penny.

At the risk of having to book my appointments out even further, I’d LOVE to recommend my amazing stylist and hairapist, Jaimee! I’ve been seeing Jaimee and having her work her magic on my hair for over 12 years now, and every single time I leave the salon happier with my cut than I imagined. She is sweet, bubbly, and always thorough with finding out what I want in a haircut and giving me exactly that– but better!
I’ve worked with a couple of other stylists here– Anthony & Lavonne, and they both do an excellent job as well! I highly recommend this place!

Jaime is the at best hair miracles next to a magicianmy 12 year old and I both go to her. She makes you leave with a smile. We luv her

I recommend Anthony as he is just awesome! I have been going to him off and on for about 20+ plus years. The only reason why I have ever had someone else do my hair has been the cost. While he may be expensive he knows what he is doing and does it well. You will never go wrong with him.

Newly opened salon just off the exit to Vancouver. Very clean and new place. Everyone very friendly. Plus my favorite hairdresser Trang has joined their team all the way from Clackamas Toni and Guy.
She always cuts my hair just the way I want and love the new line of products they use. Smells great.

I treated the wife to a cut… she looks SO NICE now… like a new girlfriend.
