Cascade Park Automotive

Had a coolant leak and my wife and I were planning to leave for California that night. We went to Cascade automotive, and in 2 hours the leak was fixed and we didn’t have to change our plans.

We’ve been having an issue with our Yukon that was only intermittent. I stopped in at a couple of other shops and they either said to come back when the problem was happening or wanted to charge me an arm and a leg just to take a look at it.
Enter Steve, Reba and the Cascade Park Automotive crew… pulled in and they had a diagnostic code within 5 min at no charge. They offered to take a look at it right then even though all of their bays were full.
Steve was thorough and honest – he told me exactly the part of the car that was giving me the trouble and suggested that it might take «quite a bit of time to diagnose it” – this scared me a little, but true to their motto of being an alternative to expensive dealerships, Steve charged me only $ 99 to check everything out thoroughly.
He gave me a fair estimate for the proposed repair, but also thought that he may have fixed it just by doing some cleaning/​repairing of wires. He could have easily talked me into going ahead with a more expensive repair, but suggested we try to drive it for a while first and come back if it was still giving me trouble.
Honesty, integrity and a friendly shop – not things you’ll find often in an auto repair establishment – but things that Cascade Park Automotive embodies every day!

Steve is awesome, got me in and out for an emission test in record time without any problems. Nice guy too!

A good mechanic is hard enough to find, but to find an honest one, that takes some doing in my opinion. I am lucky that I found Steve at Cascade Park Automotive. His three bay shop can most jobs and his prices are very reasonable. His $ 32.95 oil change includes lots of little extras and you don’t have to deal with the constant up-​selling you get from Oil Can places.
Steve installs quality parts, he doesn’t skimp on quality. You have respect a business owner that puts his customers before his bottom line. I cannot think of anywhere else in Vancouver I’d rather take my car, The Wife’s car or The Mother In Law’s car than right here.
