Zankezur is a great neighborhood bakery. Fresh Armenian Pizza(lamajune), fresh bread, fresh cheese, spinach or meat Armenian Calzone style called Boregs. You can even order the way you want him to bake it. I ordered the cheese Boregs with Amenian style sausage and it was great! The sweet items they make are also good. Nice hardworking family. Every time I have to bring something for a potluck, this is where I stop for lamajune and all my friends and co workers are soooo happy!

I walk to this location from work once in a while. They have very good bread that is fresh and reasonably priced. Their«gata» bread is delicious and their«ponchik» is just as good. I am not giving them 5 stars for the one time the old man grab a loaf of bread to sell me with his bare hands, plus it was starting to go stale. Otherwise, everything here is good.

This is exactly what I have been looking for! An Armenian hole in the wall bakery. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly older man. He gave me some time to browse around and ask questions. The sell lahmajoun?(Armenian pizza), ponchiks(dough goodness filled with gooey crème), breads and a variety of Armenian snacks. I’m glad they are not too close to me. I’m sure I would be rolling if they were! Love it!

If you’re nearby, say shopping at the thrift store down the street, and you’re hungry, don’t go over to the Jack n a Box for a burger or to the pizza parlor across the way, step into Zanekezur Bakery, which is, like reviewed Jason C says, a HOLE in the WALL, and Louie says, has FRESHMADEBREAD, and you will find that yes, the bakery is right behind the counter, you can smell the bread cooking, and you can induge y ourself in matnakash, puri, erebuni, manayish, lahmajun, and borek, which translates to little breads with delicious toppings — sauces with say, mushrooms, for very little money. You’ll say to yourself that you’ll wait to get home to start eating but the smell and the heat of these creations will get to you, so NOSH. The storefront looked very clean to me, there are some groceries, and for those of you who use EBT/SNAP you can use it for all the above and some groceries too!

This was a small hole in the wall bakery. What’s great about it is that everything is baked fresh on premises from what it appears as the bakery is right behind the store front. I bought several baked goods, all of which were excellent even after reheating in the oven a day or 2 after purchase.

This is by far some of the best bread I have had in a while. The owner is really nice and the quality of their dough is delicious. Don’t let the«B» rating fool you. The bread reminds me of traditional South America bread that my relatives used to make. If you are in the area do not pass up this place. There is parking in front of the store and it is located in a small shopping area next to a liquor store.
