McDonald’s

This place should close… Been coming here off and on for 6 years, and its getting worse. The staff is horrible and to busy chatting. There is always a mistake with the order, and when u question it, it turns into an argument. The management is even worse and lacks proper etiquette. There coffee is watered down, and there food is usually cold. My husband asked for more cream, and got yelled at. I have called and complaind to corporate many times, and never get a call back. This place is a nightmare.

The upper management should definitely check their employees attitude before they allow them to serve clients.
Friday morning 02/​06/​2016 drive through

Horrible service and horrible food. Don’t what happened to the high quality McDonald’s once had. All need to do is microwave the food and you still get cold. I knew service is bad and food in the morning already and I don’t know what made me think that I could get a decent breakfast at 11:30 here. Really really bad. Not to mention how expensive it is. $ 13+ for a coffee, Hotcakes and sausage, a hashbrown and a sausage Mcmuffin with egg. Never again.

Clearly all the 4 – 5 stars on this location are employees that work there. There is a reason there are so many people on here with low reviews and horror stories. I just came from there like 14 mins ago and I got the right coffee, the right receipt, but the wrong actual food. I ordered the bacon-​egg-​cheese biscuit, but when I got home I actually got «Egg white delight no wht ched chs» (actual spelling on the slip). I had to wait 10 mins in the drive thru, AND get the wrong order on top of all that as well. This isn’t the first time this has happen, and I knew I should have checked the bag before I left the window knowing the history of mistakes made here. They lost a customer for sure. I left a message on the customer complaints line at 818−292−8595. I also called the actual store at the number I found online for this location and no one answered at 818−442−9790.
All locations had done the «60 seconds or your meal is free» deal for lunch… Didn’t last long, and they should be doing that for ALL orders, ALL times without having it advertised. People having to wait 10 mins or longer just to place their order and waiting to pay is ridiculous.
Also to add more fuel to the fire… They now have you sign your receipt because they have had so many fraudulent cases at this location. Stated from the guy at the window. Great!

Avoid the cigarette smoking security guard.
We went through the drive through and asked for a sweet tea but they accidentally gave it to us unsweetened so we turned back around, parked (because the drive through was too long) and my mother exchanged it to a sweet tea– what she ordered.
The security guard yelled, «hey. Hey! You can’t go in there for free refills. That’s for customers who dine in only!»
He argued with us and demanded he see a receipt with proof of timing, he spoke over my mother trying to tell him that she just went to get her order fixed but he kept yelling, making a few others get involved.
He began to flick his cigarette and say we were stealing a free beverage then lit up another cigarette and told my mother to «get out of here!»
The only reason management was not alerted immediately is because my mother was too scared to go back (and was driving so we had no control to turn e car around) and the only reason we stopped there was to get cold beverages for the hot day and had to be on our way to an appointment and couldn’t be late.
Unbelievable.

McDonalds is already bad and I never usually eat it. If I do it might be once every second year as a cheat meal. But this is the worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to.
Cold stale fries, Nasty Big Mac taste like cardboard and staff that are even too stupid for McDonalds. 3 times ask for a certain sauce at the order station and at the window and still none in the bag. Avoid McDonalds in general but if you have to have it definitely avoid this location…

Too many haters over a fast food chain.
This is the ONLY location that gets my French Vanilla iced coffee order correct EVERY SINGLE TIME. Doesn’t matter who makes it, it’s ALWAYS PERFCT! And in the Winter time they are the only ones to get my half coffee and cream correct. And I am PICKY about that! I think, maybe once, I had to go inside and get it remade. But not even that was a disappointment.
Also, on a side note, the nuggets at this location are always on point too. They’re not scalding, not luke warm, perfect temperature. The breading is crunchy and not oily. They make the best nuggets ever!
For everyone complaining about the riff raff, this location is at a bus stop in an area that is predominantly ghetto. What do you expect?

It’s sad to see all the negative review on this location. The drive true was fast, helpful and got our Oder right!!! Even they gave me enough condiments with out even asking!!!

Rude drive through lady. I told her she was rude, she said «I know». McDonald’s is massive and franchised, but the one by my place is impeccable! I won’t be straying away from them anymore. I hope the owner is making tons of money, because if he/​she is not… there’s your reason.

I would give one star but the service INSIDE is okay. However the drive thru service is horrible. Every time I come through the drive thru there is this girl who has an attitude and can never hear my order. Please get better and happier employees!

I really just come here to get ice-​cream. The service is great. But I can only speak of the drive-​thru service. For some reason the cops and paramedics are there a lot. Homeless people and teenagers hang there a lot. Right next to the bus stop.

Manager was rude. took 15 minutes to get a simple coffee. this place needs serious improvements

I feel strange writing a review for McDonalds but it must be done. I’m mainly reviewing their coffee since I haven’t had a meal from mcdonalds in ages.
The coffee at this specific location is the best one I’ve had. I’ve been addicted to their coffee for a while now and have tried several McDonald’s coffees across California.
Their coffee is the perfect temperature– not burning hot but warm enough. They sweeten it perfectly (the hot lattes or iced). The flavoring is great with just enough of the fake flavor but you still taste the coffee.
Any time I try a different mcdonalds coffee (not by choice, it is because I have to given in in a different area), the coffee is not up to standard. It’s either not sweet enough, scolding hot, or too much or too little of the fake flavoring.
Thank you Van Nuys McDonalds for being consistent with your excellent coffee.

So bad customer services, stay
A way the food is not hot at all it look like they don’t make it fresh ! I order 20’pices of chicken nugget and I ask for the sweet and sour sauce and they charge me 50cents, but not much but the sauce have to go with the order ! The order girl was fight over with me just because I ask for the sauce ! So bad stay away

Pros:
— customer service is good through the drive-​thru.
— never had a problem with my order.
— lines move quickly.
Cons:
— customer service inside is ok.
— tables not always cleaned off.
— the police and paramedics are there a lot!
— people hang out around that area late at night, sometimes homeless people.
— located right by the bus stop.

Town meets gown here at the Van Nuys Mickey Ds. Well staffed in the morning to handle a breakfast rush. Napkins and ketchup must be requested at the counter. Get in and get out.

This McDonald’s deserves a negative rating, since that is not possible i have given it 1star !!! this is specifically for the service we received at this place.
Tried to order a meal around 11:30pm after getting off work and to my amazement the young short Hispanic lady working at the drive thru window kept waving us away as if the place was no longer open. I was so confused as to what was going on because i was starving, i just wanted to get a hamburger and go home. After waiting in the car for 5mins trying to figure out what our other options were a SUV pulls up to the drive-​thru and guess what!!! they were not closed !!! this lady didn’t wanna make a new batch of fries so she tried to get us to leave!!!
Cant believe the audacity of some people…
The Food was Grrrreat tho (Freshest fries i ever had… hehe)… but the service will prob stop me from going to this location.

This is a review on a specific new menu item, on their «Dollar Menu» for bargain cheap eats. I just happened to eat this item at this location.
The GRILLED ONION CHEDDAR BURGER
In the context of «what can you get to eat for $ 3 or less» is where this grade comes from.
You can get a Grilled Onion Cheddar Burger, which features 2 standard hamburger patties and a generous portion of grilled onions, as well as Cheddar Cheese (which, me not being a fan of cheese, opts without it, essentially making this a double hamburger)
You can go to McDonald’s, order two of these or one of these and an order of french fries, get a cup of water (don’t be crooked and fill that with soda ‘tho, that’s ghetto) and be out the door for less than $ 3, feeling satisfied.
In the land of hamburgers with no price tag, it’s not a bad burger, not the best of course (coming from a fan of medium rare thick juicy hamburgers), but for the merits of speed, convenience, price and consistency, this currently ‘test marketed” menu item is way better than the overrated McRib (spongy mixed meat patty in sweet sauce), and I hope this is here to stay.
Oh, and if you ever want to ensure you get your food as fresh as possible, make one modification, whether it’s «hold the pickle» or whatever, then it goes into the special order process and is made fresh.
But, if you have special needs, then I implore you check your order before leaving. Many a time, I’ve asked for «no cheese» only to get it with cheese (by the way, it happened at this location to me, but they fixed the order and brought the new one to my table, hopefully minus any spit for being finicky)

A haven from the rain. I got a business trip to Inglewood and this definitely helped me for the morning. OK, this is a taboo to Unilocal,but this is a review nonetheless.
After getting gas at the nearby United Oil, I wanted to fuel my belly for the trip. I arrived at 7:24am and ordered the #10. 2 Egg McMuffins with Hash Browns with Orange Juice ($ 5.79). My total was $ 6.35. There was a lot of customers inside avoiding the rain. Everyone was staring at me for some reason. I think my jacket makes me a little bigger person. I still wonder why they ask for # of ketchup packets. Is it a problem?! Does McDonald’s have to do a Census for just the Ketchup?!
My order finally came about 10 minutes later. I thought they skipped my number since they said 13 and 14, when i am 12. Of course, the meal is good, but I didn’t eat my second Egg McMuffin since I may need it on the road or at work. As I ate the hash brown, I didn’t know the monopoly game is back. So, I peeled off and I won a free medium fries. OK, that sets me back $ 1.89…lol.
I wish OJ was free refills. I should have just ordered soda instead and guaranteed a refill. Oh look at that… rain is starting to heavily pour… ONWARDS TO INGLEWOOD… Wish me luck!
