Hidden Garden Florist

My mother and I went here to purchase some arrangements for my grandma’s funeral, and they were amazing and so helpful. The man who helped us, Jim, is one of the owners. My mom is not an easy lady to deal with, but he was really patient with figuring out what she wanted for the floral arrangements and she even seemed happy when we left.
The floral arrangements were at the funeral home before we had even arrived, and they looked gorgeous. They were about 4 – 4.5 feet tall and fanned out beautifully; clearly they were created with care and knowledge of flower arranging.
I would definitely recommend going here for any of your floral needs!

Just got off the phone with this florist, and was sorely disappointed with the interaction. I called to place an order for over $ 300.00 for a funeral arrangement, and was told that, «at the last minute», (read the day before the Memorial Service) they were not willing to talk with me about the specifics of design or flower choice. I was told by the associate on the phone that he could not pull flowers «out of (his) ass» at the last minute to accommodate me in my order. I had made no special requests, except no carnations or daisies, and had just asked to look at a few of the pictures on the website with him to give him some idea of the shape and type of arrangement, specifically tabletop, I was looking for. I don’t spend 300.00 on flowers without talking a little bit about what the arrangement will look like. Especially in light of the fact that this was a funeral arrangement, I could not recommend this florist to anyone! Please beware. I left the phone call much sadder than when I began. People in this industry have much more couth, understanding and professionalism than this, in the usual case. I will now try to find one of them.

The flowers they use and their designs are so unique and unlike anything else around. The arrangements here are in the realm of what you’d see at a high end Chicago florist. They also have a cool seasonal floral design out on their storefront sign.
For my high school prom, I had a nosegay (bouquet) from Hidden Garden and I could not believe the compliments I received all night from strangers– the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and bright.
In college, I dated a guy who drove their delivery van and my love of Hidden Garden grew exponetially each time he brought me flowers after work.
Then in 2008 when my nephew was born, I was living in California, but wanted to send flowers to the hospital. I called Hidden Garden and although it was later in the afternoon there, the owner said he would do his best to get them delivered that same day. My mom said the owner himself brought them– how nice is that! And my brother, who doesn’t usually care about that kind of stuff, said the flowers from Hidden Garden were, by far, the nicest they received all week.
Truly truly just the very best!
