Flower Cart

Boutique in Bloom (Flower Cart) is one of my favorite little shops in downtown Valpo. Especially for gifting! They carry the Ribbonwick and Woodwick candles which are some of my favorites. I always shop here when I’m looking for end of school year teacher gifts, or birthday gifts for my best girlfriends. I love shopping for the Spartina jewelry and handbags for myself too. They’re always getting new things in, and they carry fun unique items that you can’t find anywhere else. I also love the wine themed décor and glasses because who doesn’t love wine?!

The women (Karen) that works the cash registar is not very nice at all. I had a rewards gift card marked ¹²⁄₂₄. All she said is that is expired. There was no year on the card. I feel she could have said I am so sorry we can not honor the card at this time. Then she rings my order up wrong and over charges me $ 8.00. I point it out she has over charged me and she replies very curtly «well it already went through, I will just give you a credit for the difference.» I say that my purchase is a gift may I have a gift bag. Another women says we are all out of gift bags. Everyone before me and after me got a gift bag. Also the store was offering rewards cards for $ 50.00 in sales you receive $ 10.00 rewards. I had to ask for mine then I was told in the same curt way, «We do not have any!» Give me your email and phone number and we will contact you. It is Wednesday and I still have not heard from them. I really wanted to support small stores on Small store Saturday to frequent a store that I used to enjoy. The customer service was unexceptable, unfriendly by the woman at the registar.
