Tyler The Tutor

i went from struggling to pass my finite mathematics course (eclectic combination of statistics, college algebra, with a dash of economics) to getting a solid A on both the comprehensive final and in the class overall — i couldn’t have done it without tyler’s help! i’ve had tutors in the past but none have been as personable, flexible, and clear about conveying the material like tyler. he genuinely wants you to succeed and he provides all the building blocks for you to do so.

Tyler is AMAZING! I am a college student and was having a lot of trouble in my statistics class, I had met with other tutors prior to meeting Tyler but no one seem to be able to explain things as well as Tyler did. Tyler is very knowledgeable and confident. He is very kind and very approachable and has no problem explaining the same concepts in different ways. He is very professional and very funny, he has a great sense of humor! Not your typical boring tutor, he definitely helps you open up with as many questions as you have and he always has an answer. Thanks to Tyler I went from practically failing my statistics class to passing with a B! For as much trouble as that class gave me, I was very satisfied with my grade. I give a lot of credit to Tyler, he is honestly the best! I will be taking physics pretty soon and I plan on contacting him again. Thanks Tyler!

Tyler is great! He will come to your home, you can meet him in a coffee shop, or he will even come to a library! He really does provide an impressive service! Stop letting your child struggle and just make the call!

Tyler has been helping me with calculus over the past two years and I could not be more pleased with the experience! I have tried countless other tutors and none of them made calculus as simple and interesting as Tyler. He is able to show me the easiest way to approach any problem with as little memorization as possible, and makes sure that you truly understand the material. I hired Tyler to help my college age son with an Introduction to Statistics class. This was the last class he needed in order to transfer from a community college to a University. By the time we found Tyler — my son had already been through three other tutors that lasted one session each. They just could not make the subject understandable for him — never a good thing when looking for a tutor! Not only did Tyler break down the subject matter in a completely understandable way, he is incredibly personable and makes the tutoring session enjoyable. Math is definitely not a favorite subject in my home, but my son was able to grasp the material, understand what he was learning, and ended up with a solid 89% in the class. Thanks to Tyler — he is now in his first semester at Chico State University. I can’t recommend Tyler enough — he is dependable, personable, easy to work with, and best of all — really knows how to teach math and help his students be successful.
