My wife and I went to Rosa’s pizzeria for dinner yesterday. Rosa’s is a primarily a takeout pizzeria with some tables for eat in diners. There is no table service you just order and pick up your food. Rosa’s pizzeria appeared to be clean and somewhat spacious. We first ordered a slice of pizza which was very good with the crust being just right. We then ordered two dinner specials a lasagna and a stuffed shell dinner. Both were very good and the portion size was quite generous. Service was quite slow considering it took about half an hour to get dinner in a almost empty restaurant. Considering the dinners cost 5.95 each because of a Monday and Tuesday dinner special the price to value ratio is above average for these days and around average for the rest of the time. All in all this was a very good experience and I look forward to returning in the near future.

Very good pizzeria! I have always enjoyed the food here. Their specialty topping pizzas are very tasty — especially the meatball and sausage pizzas.

Had a grandma slice and a chicken parm hero. The grandma slice was supposed to hold me over until the chicken parm arrived, but it just wasn’t satisfying enough. I deducted a star because of it. The chicken parm, however, was the main reason i frequent this place. After finishing the slice and waiting an extra 5 – 10 minutes, the man from the kitchen brought out the pahmmm. Bread, crisp on the outside but a soaked on the inside due to the sauce and cheese that melted through it when it was in the oven. Cheese, broiled and melted just enough but it still retained its viscosity by not sliding off the hero. Chicken. Though it was a bit dry this time, the sauce went to work, so i was still satisfied with it

Slices are a nice size but they’re $ 4-$ 5 each. It’s a nice place to sit down and eat, everyone’s pretty nice.

This is my go to pizzeria when I want to grab a slice. They always have a great selection of fresh pizza and my 2 absolute favorites Marinara & Penne a’la Vodka. The only downside is they don’t deliver :(That being said I ordered elsewhere tonight and was so disappointed.

Swung by for a quick slice before work. The slices here are pretty large and generous in terms of toppings. The service was quick and there was plenty of seating. Yes, there were plenty of teenagers just hanging out but honestly it was not a big deal to me; the pizza still tasted the same. I ordered a chicken Cesar slice; it was served cold and was loaded to the point where I ate it like a salad for the first few bites before I could successfully fold it. If you are craving pizza and want a filling slice, check this place out.

This place is amazing. I love the buffalo chicken pizza here it is amazingly delicious. I normally get the buffalo chicken pizza but I also like the bacon chicken and ranch pizza to. There are some nice people in there.

The pizza here is ok. Only some of the specialty slices are good. The salad slices are my favorite. My biggest beef with this place is that on more than one occasion I found the staff to be rude.

Pizza is good, although I just watched one of the men wipe sauce on a slice with his bare hand. Also extremely rude workers. I have lived in Valley Stream my entire life and hardly ever choose this pizzeria. Now i remember why.

the guys are friendly but their pizza overall isn’t that great. the only reason I go back is for their buffalo slices which are pretty good.

Their pizza is not bad. I’ve been coming here since high school and what really gets to me is that they hold the pizza with their bare hands and then will go over to the register and touch money and then go back and sprinkle cheese on a pizza. Now that’s gross.

When I come here I either buy a regular cheese pie or their penne vodka. Their penne vodka is so good! Easily my fav, and on tuesdays its only six dollars and the portion is huge. Can’t beat the price! Also it comes with tasty bread. Will always come back for their pasta.

My awful experience here led me to Ancona’s Pizza on Rockaway Avenue. As some may know, there’s an on-going friendly dispute on who’s pizza is the best, Rosa’s or Ancona’s. From experience I will tell you this, Ancona’s pizza is tastier and their service is outstanding. Ancona is the kind of place that they know your name by the 2nd time you visit. I’m still in awe a year later on how my experience at Rosa’s went.

Pizza is always Delicious. Family friendly resturant. They never rush you to place an order. If you are undecided on what to order, they will help you through your ordering process. Reasonable price. This place can get crowded. I drive from rosedale to get pizza in valley stream!!!

Lots of people will bash this place but read between the lines of the other peoples reviews and you will find the real review. 1. order specialty SLICES. Getting a pie is expensive and inconsistent. 2. Pies are cut into 6 slices so they are stubby but large. 3. Yes it can be greasy. Its pizza. 4. Heroes are full. Entrees are a bit over rated because depending on your order, you may question freshness. 5. Staff can be rude. You try dealing with every teenager from Valley stream High school from 12 noon to 5PM. Not an easy task. Bottom line: Get a specialty slice and have a seat. Take 5 minutes and enjoy it hot out of the oven.

The pizza is DISGUSTING, burnt & greasy. What used to be one of my favorite pizza places is now my least favorite. The place is noisy, staff is rude & it is also small and dirty! There is constantly flies around!

It’s a sad day when I have to update my review and deduct 2 stars. Rosa’s quality has gone so down hill lately that I will never go there again unless I’m literally starving and I run out of gas for my car and I’m stranded in this 2 block radius. The garlic knots have been consistently burnt lately and they pretty much jacked up the price on everything on the menu. I can’t believe the kind of outrageous prices they charge for the food here. I don’t understand? Is the owner in some sort of gambling debt or something? How can they pass down the kind of prices that they charge for the burnt and bland crap they’ve been making these days? I don’t get it. Such a fall for them.

Monday & Tuesday is Pasta Night at Rosa’s. Try meat sauce and vodka sauce, both are very good. Can’t beat the amount of food for the price. My favorite pie is the Rigatoni ala Vodka — order a pie, the single slices tend to be a little dry.

You can’t go wrong with Rosa’s. This pizzeria has plenty of tables and ample space. It’s not dark or cavernous like other pizzeria’s in Valley Stream(cough Ancona cough) you get plenty of sunlight from the wall of windows. They have a wide variety of entrée and pasta dishes to choose from and an extensive selection of pizza. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is beast! Not because of the taste(it’s a decent pizza, but I prefer the Buffalo chicken slice in Pizza Amore), but by the virtue of the quantity of chicken they put on each slice. I honesty believe they put ½ to 1 chicken cutlet worth of chicken onto each slice. Fresh tomato and garlic pizza is really nice as well.
Their pizza is huge. Like scary Godzilla pizza huge. The pizza is reasonably priced and not as expensive as Ancona’s pizza. They serve good solid pizza at Rosa’s, I would definitely order from here again.
